I don't write reviews unless the service is phenomenal. This is the case at ReShape Physical Therapy. I suspended half marathon (13.1 miles) training because of pain in my left leg. I was also having difficulty walking. I thought I had sciatica and I believed that therapy would take a long time. Kyle, my physical therapist, listened to me and conducted an evaluation and determined the exact muscle that was strained. He gave me exercises that were extremely helpful in reducing the pain in 1 week. The next session he showed me how to walk more efficiently and gave me more challenging exercises. By the third session he had me running on the treadmill, recorded my gait, and then he evaluated my stride. He gave me great input. I started walking and running the same day for a few miles. I was amazed that running was so much easier and I had no pain. I started running further. I ran 4 miles and reduced my average pace from 10 minutes/mile to 8.5 minutes/mile (a 20% reduction)! I am now back to training for a half marathon. Before I saw Kyle, I was just hoping the pain would go away and that I probably wouldn't be able to run again due to a re-injury. Kyle exceeded my expectations by enabling me to run again in 3 weeks AND at a faster pace. He has been very professional, friendly and full of encouragement. He has made therapy a very positive experience for me. If you were to tell me that physical therapy would have resolved the issue that I was having, I never would've believed it. I was experiencing extreme pain in my back and chest and Tingling and numbness in my arms. Kyle was able to identify the source and proceeded to work with me in rectifying the issue. After a couple of visits I had made huge progress and became pain-free. As a nurse, I watch physical therapist in the acute care setting yet never really see the results of their work. My doctor recommended starting in the least invasive way in determining the cause of my problem which I truly appreciated. I would highly recommend Kyle Feldman and Reshape Physical Therapy. My experience with Kyle and ReShape was invaluable. I arrived injured, in pain, and bewildered at what had happened to me. Kyle expertly navigated me through a process that relieved my pain, helped heal my injury, and educated me as to what had happened and what parts of my body were affected. Kyle is a consummate professional with a truly compassionate approach and he takes time to not only explain things to you but show you visuals of anatomy to help you understand what is going on with your body. I was a previous patient of Kyle's when I was having issues with my right shoulder, this was before he was with ReShape. When my left shoulder started having issues, I knew I wanted to work with Kyle again. I found him at his new location (ReShape) which is conveniently located and easy to find. Kyle knows his stuff and has tremendously help me with both rotator cuff injuries. Although they were minor injuries, my arms and shoulders are essentially how I get around since I'm restricted to a manual wheelchair. Kyle did some dry needling and PT to help heal and strengthen both of my shoulders. He also provided exercises I can do to help prevent having these types of injuries. At 72 I developed a terrible left hip problem that progressed to a point where I could hardly walk. I had to stand and wait before taking a first step, and getting into a car was painful. After setting on the car seat I would have to grab my left pant leg and lift my leg into the car. Walking was only possible for short distances, and walking up and down stairs was difficult. Kyle Feldman assessed my condition and set up a treatment plan. It took a couple months, but Kyle restored my health. I am pain free and can resume my normal lifestyle activities without pain. A few years ago, I hurt my back. A nurse practitioner gave me Kyle's info and highly recommended him. After a few weeks of seeing him, I was moving better, and after a few months, as good as new. So, when I hurt my shoulder in November, I called him right away! He was expecting his first child, so I had the opportunity to be treated by Allie and Jason also. Within 2 months, I was healed, with full motion, and more strength than before I was injured. They take their time explaining how and why each exercise is important. They are kind, encouraging and understanding of your pain. I wouldn't go anywhere else, they are the best!! read more

Amazing! I had no idea that physical therapy could help with vertigo. I went into the office feeling horrible and came out feeling so much better. Stephanie was so kind and empathetic in explaining the vertigo, why I was feeling the way I was, and helping me to feel better. She never rushed the sessions and made me feel comfortable with the testing and therapy that she performed. I can't thank her and the front office staff enough for all of the kindness and understanding that I rec'd. I would highly recommend for anyone suffering from vertigo. Kyle is an amazing and very knowledgeable therapist. The receptionist is beyond helpful. This practice has truly gone above and beyond to help me with my back, neck, and shoulder pain. They have now helped my husband as well with his shoulder pain. They have worked with our various schedules, they explain things in detail and make sure you truly understand. Kyle and his team are the best PT in the area. I am driving from Charles Town because of their best customer service, communication and caring. They took good care of me twice ( with my spinal pain issue & this year with my arm after seriously medical issues). With my son knee issues in which he was able to full recover without surgery.
