Great happy hour!
Jackie P.

Can't beat the daily happy hour and live music. Yes it's a hotel bar but don't let that deter you. Local musicians every Thurs - Sun. Happy hour prices from 5-7pm and the best bartenders! Stay indoors for the tunes or head to the really nice outdoor patio to snuggle up by the fire pit. Food you ask? Yes! I 5-star recommend the fish tacos (you get 4!) and the Kalua pork quesadilla. Drinks? Don't miss out on the flavored margaritas!

Plenty of seating outside, where they'll provide you with plastic cups if you want to enjoy the breeze. Oh, and a fire pit after dark!

It's so good and has a yummy whip on top. I also got a lychee drink which was also very yummy! For food, we got the fish and chips! There was also a miscommunication and they brought out a random fish taco, so they gave it to us for free lol The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and had lots of seating. They had both indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. Outside they had live music, which was really nice to have during lunch :) Staff were great and sooo helpful. Food and drinks came out quickly and everything was amazing. I took off a star for pricing. We each got a drink and we shared fish and chips and our bill was $100 with tip. We felt that was a bit steep for sharing a meal and having 1 drink each. My friends who live on the Island said that other locations were way cheaper, so it's a bummer this one was more expensive. I'm assuming it's because it's across from Aulani. We noticed that the menu here was more expensive than eating at Aulani, so next time we'll probably just stay at the resort. Either way, food and experience were great but we probably won't return because of the pricing.

Outstanding Food, Vibes, and Live Music!…read more Had an amazing dinner experience at Mahi'ai Table last night with two friends! We specifically came out to support our friend who was the musical talent providing the live entertainment from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and the vibe was so good that we stayed all the way until 9:00 PM. Because we arrived during the last 30 minutes of happy hour, we immediately ordered a major spread of pupus from the Pau Hana menu. We shared the lechon style brussel sprouts, hand-cut fries, steamed shrimp & pork won tons, scallion bread, and fish tacos. Every single bite was delicious. I paired the food with a Hana Koa Roof Top Pale Ale from their local drafts list, which was crisp and excellent. After happy hour wrapped up, I moved on to the dinner menu and ordered the Half Pound House Burger and fries for my entree. The burger was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding, and the service was prompt, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. The noise level was perfectly moderate, letting us enjoy both the live music and our own conversation. We had a great time and will absolutely be back!

Great value and plenty of food. Stopped in for lunch and the service and ambiance were great. We live in town and have come here several times for happy hour and to meet clients. They have live local music on certain days, which makes it even better. Nothing beats good local food with local music. Consistently good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon.

The atmosphere is open, breezy, and always buzzing, especially when the band starts up. It's the kind of place where you can roll in with family, friends, or your whole canoe crew and feel right at home. The menu leans heavy on local comfort favorites appetizers, island‑style entrées, and cocktails that go down easy. Portions are solid, flavors are consistent, and the drinks come out fast even when the place is packed. Moani's happy hour is one of the best parts -- perfect for grabbing a drink before dinner or chilling after shopping. Based on current listings and typical offerings at Moani's Kapolei location, happy hour usually includes: Discounted signature cocktails, Beer specials, Reduced‑price pupus like wings, fries and more. Moani is known for its live music, featuring local artists almost nightly. It's lively but not overwhelming -- you can still talk story at your table without yelling. The crowd is a mix of families, couples, and groups celebrating something (because someone is always celebrating something at Moani). Moani Bar & Grill is a solid Kapolei pau hana spot -- good food, strong drinks, live music, and a happy hour that makes it easy to unwind without breaking the bank. If you're already cruising Ka Makana Ali'i, it's one of the best places to stop, chill, and enjoy the West Side vibe.

It was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the steak was a disappointment of the meal. It was quite tough and lacked the rich flavor I was hoping for. The restaurant itself has a lively atmosphere, though it can get very loud, making conversation at the table a bit challenging. The highlight of the evening was definitely the live music. Randy performed during dinner, and he was fantastic. His music was the perfect fit for a dinner setting, great song selection, enjoyable vocals, and just the right vibe to enhance the overall experience without overpowering it.

Also, did I really want a Sonic burger? The answer was an easy no. Did a quick search and found this place which I had no idea existed but now I know they exist in an excellent way. People come here to drink, I'm not a drinker but there was plentynof alcoholic beverages on the back wall for your choice that it could be overwhelming. This is a bar with indoor seating and a World Cup game was on. I think there was outdoor seating but it looked like a different restaurant to me. We ordered dirty fries, a sweet tea, the simple smash, village smash, and sweet tea. I have to admit, I'm overly harsh on burgers but from the first bite, this hit right to me. The dirty fries were good also. We washed down that salt with their mildly sweet sweet tea. That's the only miss for me as I like deep sweet tea thanks to some time spent in Mississippi earlier in life. Their food put themselves on my radar so we will definitely be back as we didn't even scratch the other meats they had on menu.

Crispy toasted bun, super thin patties with an awesome sear and crunchy edges. One of the few burgers lately I didn't feel needed extra salt. Could've used a little more garlic aioli, but overall it was delicious. Definitely would get it again __________________________________________________ Double stack Daddy: 9/10 Double patty done right. Crispy edges, juicy beef, perfectly melted cheese, and every bite was packed with flavor without feeling overdone. AIOLI WAS simple, fresh, and exactly what a smash burger should be. Definitely worth the stop if you're craving a legit burger. __________________________________________________ Braddah Big Buns: 7/10 Shmall kine dry, need more sauce, patty too wide for da buns. But buggah still action __________________________________________________ Grilled Apostle: 8.5/10 Order the Village Smash Burger will extra patty & cheese. Very flavorful, but not as juicy as I would like it. Bun was crisp, bacon added an extra touch to the burger making it more than average, delicious! __________________________________________________ Captain Messy Hands, Keeper of the Drip: 7/10 stepping into the smash burger arena for the very first time. Ordered the Village Smash Burger Double Angus patties, cracked pepper crust, mustard, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, American cheese, and their signature Village sauce. This thing came out looking clean, sharp, and locked in. First bite? I finally understood the smash burger hype. The patties were thin, crispy around the edges, and perfectly executed the way a smash burger should be. That cracked pepper crust gave every bite a nice little punch, and the sear on the beef carried the whole experience. No sloppy grill work here! This burger knew exactly what it wanted to be. Now let's address The drip. Or in this case... the lack of it. This burger leaned more dry than messy. Not Sahara desert dry and not dry in a bad way, just controlled. Precise. Balanced. The bun actually deserves respect here because it stayed soft, moist, and held together from first bite to last bite without collapsing under pressure. Structurally elite. But CMH lives for chaos. I like burgers that need a stack of napkins nearby. Burgers where sauce hits the wrist. Burgers that fight back. This wasn't that type of burger. And honestly? I still respect it. Final Verdict...A clean, well executed smash burger with serious crust game. Not a drippy monster, but a strong introduction to the smash burger world. __________________________________________________ The Premium Purists: 9.5/10 The Village Smash Burger is a trendy modern burger that still hits with nostalgic deluxe flavors. I was very impressed by this burger. To me it was luxury in every bite! The balance of flavors from the beef, seasoning, sauce and LTO was on point. Buns stayed solid throughout the entire experience. It's a smash so the patties were a little drier but to me the flavors made up for the lack of juice.

We went on a Saturday, getting to the resort before 4:30 and then up we went with our special key from the front desk. We didn't have to use the key. When we got to the room, it is unassuming as it blends in with other rooms...except not. Followed the instructions on the door and it was so cool we closed the door and video taped it. I think it threw off the people working as they expected patrons. The walk in the hallway threw me off a little but after you walk through the small room...WOW. All I had to say was WOW. Because I had no expectation everything was so exciting. There was a "rooftop bar" feel to the place and the view was so nice. (Although I could do with less tree-view) It would have been nice to have been early enough to get seats at the railing but we didn't know you could get there before 4:30 and there was already a few groups there. Seating is first come first serve so we opted for a high top table tucked in the back that the 4 of us could sit and chat but still enjoy the view. I took a few photos but mostly enjoyed the ambiance and the girl talk. I don't know why I thought there would be light pupus but nope, no food. Just some olives and nuts. I wish I took photos of the drink selection menu because I don't remember what was in my drink. The names of the cocktails were fun though! I enjoyed a "Lifted 'Yota" which was fun and tasty. They also serve mocktails if you don't want to have the alcohol. All in all, I loved the experience we had and my friends and I look forward to coming back. I mean, there's an extensive beverage list and I must try something else!
