I got a chance to stay here for an entire week for work, and it was very pleasant. From the moment I called for airport shuttle pickup, which was prompt (the traveler waiting next to me waited so long for his shuttle that we let him ride in ours, his never showed), to check out, everything went so smoothly. Room. Spacious and clean, I had read some reviews that concerned me, but I had no issues with anything. Enjoyed having a fridge, stove and cookware/cutlery. The curtains could be moved to completely block out light. Water got hot quickly and pressure was fine. I should note that one of my colleagues did have issues with his bathroom, toilet not working so this may depend on your assigned room. Breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was consistently good. Hot items mixed with a good variety of cold, such as waffles, burritos, egg sandwiches, oatmeal, and yogurt. There was even dairy-free alternatives. It was not crowded throughout the week. The lady who managed this each morning was great, always asking if I needed anything. Amenities. The exercise room was a decent size with bike and treadmills and free weights. Pool was not the warmest, but nice to cool off in during the hot summer. It's just long enough for laps. The spa with timer was nice also, jets were not very strong, and could get crowded in the weekend evening. Service and staff. Staff are not in 24-7, they leave at a specific time, but it's late so was never a problem. They do not turn down the room every day, only on certain days, but I was informed this up front so it was also never an issue. The front desk staff in the morning (early on Thursday), in particular, was fantastic, went out of his way to help me out. Overall, given its convenience to the airport and a number of other places, such as the nearby outlet mall and restaurants, and all of the points above, rooms, free breakfast, amenities, etc, it's a good hotel for any short or extended stay. read more

I've stayed at many Residence Inns over the years and never left a review. Not that anything was wrong with any of them but none of them stood out like this one! We only stayed one night! We checked in and ate at the small little restaurant called The Library! Who knew that a hotel could have such good food at a reasonable price and great service. I noticed that someone was always wiping and cleaning areas. The staff does not just stand around. The breakfast area was off the charts. The attendant was very involved and made sure we had what we needed. The room was clean and quiet. And there was a prayer in the drawer. Love it. Thank you for serving us so well. One bit of caution. If you miss the turn to the entrance you will end up on a very busy freeway and have to back track a couple of miles. Been there done that. read more

The hotel is so clean and everyone is so nice there. The breakfast was by far the best I've ever had in a hotel. The selection was huge and they had tortillas! The chorizo breakfast tacos hit the spot. We had a little water issue that got my clothes wet and they gave us quarters and soap so I could clean them. First off, I'd like to thank John the night receptionist. Both nights that I passed through at the wee hours of the night to check in, he was spot on in getting me checked in, in less then five minutes. But that wasn't it, his concern for customer care, went beyond that. He made sure I didn't park in a certain spot where birds pulverized vehicles with their droppings. Since I was checking in so late, he asked if i wanted to check out late. Something i wasn't thinking about but he was. John was a godsend to say the least. On with the rest the review. This hotel was ideal for what I needed it for. I needed a hotel that would accommodate me and a few dogs. They did! The other amenities/reasons I chose this hotel are, they serve breakfast, rooms are more of a suite based (small kitchenette and livingroom) then just a room, location within the Grapevine area (my preferred area to stay in when in the DFW area). And plenty of other options/reasons that I didn't get to enjoy. With its modern design, location, amenities, cost to stay, and friendly receptionists I'd say I will definitely be staying here if ever passing through this area again. Marriott brand has put together a prized hotel if you ask me. Well worth your stay and membership if travel like I do. read more

My family and I spent one night here because of the proximity to Great Wolf Lodge and the amenities. Great Wolf (and the Gaylord) is only about 5 minutes away. Although, we didn't spend much time there, it was such a pleasant experience. Upon check in, i was greeted promptly and made to feel very welcomed. The room was spotless! The bed was comfortable. I love that there is a full sized refrigerator with ice maker. The room also is stocked with dishes and utensils. It felt like a small apartment with very modern decor. I can't remember the name of the lady at breakfast, but she was heaven! She kept all stations stocked and assisted me with getting the kids' food and checked on us regularly. I wish breakfast lasted until 10am instead of 9:30, but I guess that's still good. Check out is at noon so I wanted to sleep in, but I had to wake up early to catch breakfast lol. I would 100% visit. It saves so much money to only do one night at Great Wolf then the second at another hotel. Residence Inn will be my go-to. read more

Very clean and for this Chicago gal, the room was almost as big as my studio apartment. Negative #1, is there wasn't a luggage rack. It seems so small and petty but it really isn't. I'm on the road 10-15 days a month. I'm a germ/ freak about not getting the BB's (that awful traveler bug which shall not be mentioned). I refuse to put my luggage on a floor, bed, wood or couch. I have a luggage rack at home. They are a necessity at hotels. Negative #2, is the bar is only open until 10pm. I ran down, at 9:50pm, to find the bartender shutting down and not thrilled with my presence. It's closing time, I totally understand!! I got 2 glasses of red (a lovely, heavy pour), left her a pleasant tip, and walked back up to my room with a smile on my face. I popped the complimentary popcorn in my room and smiled the rest of the night in my cozy room. Slept like a baby. read more

Who would have thought....this place is awesome on so many levels. Super friendly staff, can't say enough about them, you feel like you've known them forever...their warmth is something you don't see enough of these days. The restaurant? AMAZING! Very disappointed in my stay here. As a Marriott platinum member I expect more. The AC just can't be made to come on. Had the room worked on all day by maintenance and it still won't work. They changed hsbto another room and guess what? We can't adjust the temp here either. They say you have to be in the room a while for the heat sensors to know someone is in the room. We've been in it over an hour and still no AC. Third night in a row with an uncomfortably warm room. Won't be staying here again. And if other Residence Inns are set up this way I won't be staying in them either. I added one star. The manager credited me for the full stay so because of the shortcomings they did take care of me. read more

Beautiful Hotel! I stayed here for work and from the moment of pickup from the airport I've felt welcomed. The van driver was very pleasant and upon arriving to the hotel he told me everything that was around the hotel including the Grapevine Outlet Mall which is across the highway. He did say that they would be able to drop me off and pick me up which was perfect as I needed to do some last minute Christmas shopping. When I arrived my work had failed to notify the hotel of my reservation. But they told me not to worry about it. That they would contact my company and get it taken care of. Which was a real surprise to me as this tends to happen a lot as I'm a flight attendant with ever changing schedules and the hotels usually won't give me a room without getting my reservation fixed by my company first. They were very helpful and totally accommodating. Before heading to my room they also told me there offer complimentary wifi and breakfast in the morning. The hotel is beautifully decorated with modern decor and the rooms are big a spacious that includes a full kitchen. Breakfast included an omelet chef which was a lovely surprise as I love fresh omelets. And the tip you give to the chef goes to a local charity. I have to say, I stay at a lot of hotels for work and this is one of the top hotels I've stayed at in over 8 years. Not only is it located in a great area with lots around but the staff is very, very nice and helpful and the rooms are very clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for either short or long stays. read more

Location: convenient to offices and businesses in Coppell. Lots of surface street options if you don't care for the highway. Infrastructure: building feels brand new. Clean, comfortable rooms with a kitchen. Plumbing seems to be struggling--my toilet inexplicably ran at random and loudly several times a night. Service: friendly and seemingly eager to please, but disorganized. When I dropped off laundry with the front desk the staff completely neglected to send it out. When I tried to pick up my laundry late the following evening, the bag had just been sitting in the back. As a business traveler who was on day #7, I was counting on the fulfillment of this very standard hotel service so I could finish off some work that night and show up the next morning at work pressed and clean (or at the very least in clothes that hadn't been snuggling with stinky workout gear in a laundry bag ). I do congratulate the unfortunate night desk attendant who had to deliver the bad news and manage my dismay. She gave me detergent and change to be able to do my own laundry well into the night. No follow up from management until I emailed the service manager, who promised it would never happen again, but I'm not going to be giving them another chance. read more

The Residence Inn is somewhat cheaper than its Springhill sibling across the street and not only are the rooms substantially larger, the breakfast is better and so is the overall atmosphere. Located within walking distance to the Grapevine Mills outlet mall and a short drive from both Grapevine and the DFW airport makes this an ideal place for somebody who has business in the area. read more

This hotel has THE best morning breakfast attendant. Her name is Karen. She was there every single morning ensuring that the breakfast items were well stocked and that all the clients were content. This hotel needs to do everything to keep this customer-focused employee happy and motivated to remain as their employee. She is a first class hotel attendant and could easily work in a 5-star resort or luxury hotel. She knew exactly when to engage in conversation with clients and when they wanted privacy. Unfortunately, I had to give this hotel a less then perfect rating because the other areas were incredibly lacking - poor desk representation (unfriendly and indifferent to clientele), inattentive house-keeping staff and dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinets in our suite. At one point, we asked for extra toiletries and towels (because we had 2 people with long hair) before we had to leave for the morning. We waited 20 minutes and they didn't arrive. When I called again, the male desk attendant said he'd send them up. I asked him to leave them in the bathroom because we were already late for our meeting and he assured me he would. We we arrived back at the hotel at 10pm that evening, and there were no extra towels and no extra toiletries. It's a shame when a customer has to ask several times for items that should be readily available. Also, since we did use the fold out couch, we expected for the housekeeping to properly make that sleeping space. When we returned from a long day, we discovered the housekeeping merely threw the bed cover over the crumpled sheets and mattress cover. If it was not for Karen in the breakfast room, I would have given this place 2 or even 1 star. If you're only going to be there for 1 or 2 nights perhaps you can overlook the comfort items I expected from a hotel, but if you are staying longer, go next door to the Embassy. read more

Terribly small bathrooms and bathtubs, poor quality rooms like a motel 6, terrible service, asked them to service room and they failed to.

This is an incredible hotel. The rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a Residence Inn, clean and efficient but nothing excessive. The best feature of this hotel is their staff. Everyone that we walked past stopped and spoke with us from the Manager to the cleaning staff. One employee stood out from everyone though, and that was the lady running the breakfast bar. She was very attentive and made sure that everything was fresh and fully stocked. She made her way to every table insuring that each guest was enjoying their breakfast. It is so nice to see friendly people willing to help customers in a manner like this. We will be back. read more

My first Residence Inn Experience. My family and I stayed at this facility because it was close to the Gaylord and we wanted to visit the ICE exhibit that why were having there. This is a great location. It is right next to the Bass Pro Shop which my husband LOVED x200!!! Within walking distance. The facilities is very clean and have a modern and comfortable look inside. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. There was a large assortment of foods available served buffet style. I enjoyed the hot food choices. All were perfectly cooked. The staff was amazing and always helpful. My kids loved this place and said they want to visit again when we're back in the area. The beds are firm and comfy. Rooms are larger than your average studio at other places. There is a full kitchen available at this hotel which we loved but didn't really use. It was great having a full size fridge. Stars 1 star for facilities 1 star for staff 1 star for food 1 star over all experience 1 star for having very clean bathrooms and common areas. read more

Checked in here with my family last month and I must say, it was a great home away from home. The staff are friendly, especially the nice breakfast attendant who was there one of the mornings we had breakfast. She was really sweet and pleasant; she even made Banana and Mango smoothie which is usually not part of the breakfast buffet but she went the extra mile by making it and it was delicious! The hotel looks a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. The location is nice because it was across from the Grapevine Outlets Mall and close to the highway. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I visit from California. read more

Clean, friendly staff, near food options, and large rooms. The beds are good and the shower has always had great pressure for me. There's another (newer) Residence Inn on Valley View but this location is much closer to better dining options so I would recommend staying at this location. Checked in, nice room, very clean. A little trouble connecting to Wifi. Got resolved quick with a phone call to front desk. They had tech support call me in about 5 minutes. Nice breakfast buffet, usual items, the attendant was right on top of everything. Used the shuttle service to go back to airport to get a rental car. Driver made sure I knew where to catch the bus to rental center. read more

I have stayed here twice on business and have found the customer service to be stellar! Every single employee is extremely friendly, and they go above and beyond expectations. Yesterday morning, I went to the yummy breakfast buffet and asked for some fresh fruit. The amazingly kind gentleman manning the omelette station pointed me in the direction of the fruit bowl and asked if I would like some fresh cut strawberries in addition to what was offered (yes, please)! He then came back around to our table to ensure everything was satisfactory. I wish I had gotten his name, as he is the main reason for this review and deserves some recognition for being awesome! The young man that delivered my room service the night before, right after the restaurant closed for the evening, was also amazing and didn't make me feel like I was putting him out for my last minute order. In terms of the rooms, they are large, clean and comfortable. I've never had an issue with cleanliness or noise, and always sleep soundly through the night. It's in walking distance of several restaurants, and there's even a LEGOLAND Discovery Center across the street if you have kids. Great for conferences! Highly recommended!! read more
