    Powdered eggs

We checked in on a Thursday, but the employee that "checked us in" didn't do it, they say. On Friday at 10:49 pm, we get a knock on the door saying we are not supposed to be in the room. They had no record of my check-in! After getting dressed and having to prove I was supposed to be there, they apologized, nice. Before all that happened, I had requested a new room (Thursday). Pets are allowed at this hotel (I will check next time, my mistake), and I have a husband that is highly allergic to cats and dogs! I asked for a room change which they said they would do in the morning. This never happened, I guess, because they didn't have us checked in. But they could SEE I was there and made a note on the account. The breakfast yall! If you are expecting a good breakfast, DO NOT stay here! Powdered eggs, microwaved potato, and sausage, sour fruit; that is what you get! Do not let the pictures on the website fool you! This stay has made me a customer of any other hotel chain! I will not be staying at a Hyatt if I can help it!

** BED BUGS BEWARE ** Had an ok stay here - check in, breakfast and room was adequate but there were definitely bed bugs in the fold out sofa bed. My children and I went to sleep fine but were woken up itching and took the covers off to find our legs covered in bed bug bites....

Leaky roof, trash cans in the hallways, squishy carpet as you walk through, no coffee...yeah, none, powdered eggs, French toast sticks, noisy rooms, a toilet that goes off in the middle of the night and the absolute worst toilet paper available. These are what to expect. How about the manager goes to Costco and buys a few big coffee makers? I get one day.. But, three? Stay somewhere else. It's a lot of money to stay here, I expected better from Hyatt.

Haven't seen my family for more than 5 years this was a wonderful visit also a view from the lobby

We had a great experience visiting Grapevine for the first time. hotel was very accommodating with my two service dogs saving a downstairs room for us close to the exits plenty of dog grass areas and bags . Front desk also was very nice to us making sure treats I ordered for my arriving family members were given to them upon check in ! Loved the breakfast as well kept stocked during the hours for everyone to enjoy . We also enjoyed our comfortable rooms with sofas plenty of parking ! And close walking distance to the mall but even a shuttle that can pick you up from the mall or airport. Will stay here again as all my guests were happy

Operating in a safe and clean capacity. Everything at check in is touch-less, unless you need something printed. Everyone must wear a mask inside common areas. The room felt clean. We always like the king rooms at Hyatt Place because they feel bigger than most with the added on living area. Airport shuttle is on time this morning. No complaints about stay. Would come back if needed.

The customer service from the staff was top notch. The bartender to the front desk and valet were all amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Upon checking in they greet you with a welcome glass of wine. This was a nice surprise and unexpected. My room was clean and cozy. The decor inside my room was vintage and modern. Bonus was the thick robe hanging up for me. There is a mini bar, safe, refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was soft and comfortable. The ambiance of the room and all hotel areas were beautifully designed. The lobby with the fireplace was filled with lovely furniture. I had a happy and peaceful visit. I would definitely stay here again. Book the room! My only negative is...Parking is $$$ You are already paying a premium amount for the rooms and experience so this should be cheaper for guests.

After asking for by ID, he asked for my credit card info, I politely said no. I knew it was covered by my company. He asked again & I insisted it wasn't needed. Then he finally gave me my room key. The room was large, spacious, & overall clean. The bathroom was also very spacious, but I felt the floor was dirty and sticky. Overall, I'm giving it 3.5 stars (rounding up to 4). It does not really stand out to me and verged a bit on disappointing, though this might have been because I was tired from traveling. The room itself must not be one of them that they picture, maybe some renovated/some not? Mine didn't feel renovated at all, instead a bit tired and run down. The shower (which had awful water pressure, barely trickles) had an ugly yellowish color scheme for its tiles. The bed is weirdly high up and medium-firm but comfortable enough. I have become spoiled by hotels that feature Netflix, YouTube, and/or other apps/services in addition to live TV. This TV was a regular TV and nothing more, which is not a huge problem itself. Even so, it was a bit jarring to see, especially since its "TV guide" channel looked straight out of the early 90s. The free shuttle is great. It makes stops anywhere people want, which is understandable, and the airport is huge, so build in some extra time. We had a bit of a scare because the driver was said to be a bit late, but we then got an update a few minutes later that the driver would be on time, and he was! Phew.

Carlos was friendly and upgraded our room after discussing we were staying there for our anniversary. Very unexpected and very kind. Our room was on the 8th floor overlooking the atrium. The room was huge, with a living room, separate bedroom, and a gigantic closet. There were a lot of noises in the room (popping and drill noises). We were close to the elevator, so not sure if it was that. Part of the hotel is currently in the renovation process, so it could have been that too. The drill noises stopped, but the popping noises didn't really seem to go away overnight. There was also a bright green light (smoke detector?) that flashed every 12 seconds or so. The rugs in the room were coming up at the edges so you had to be careful where you were walking. We had several near misses and one fall. The main issues we had were with dining. We started at the outdoor pool and ordered a few drinks. My parents arrived after us and ordered some drinks as well. Since we had the same last name, the bartender didn't ask for their room, they just went off of the last name and put everything on mine. A manager came by and got it situated fairly quick. We wanted to try the riverwalk cantina for dinner Saturday night. They didn't take reservations so we showed up around 5. They were buffet only, even though the menu scanned from the QR code in our room and on the Gaylord app showed a full menu. While we enjoy Mexican food, paying $110 for 3 buffets seemed too much, so we went to the Texan Station. The amount of time we spent waiting for the bills to be corrected really put a damper on what should have been an stress-free anniversary celebration "staycation". It definitely doesn't make us want to come back for a staycation anytime soon.

Ive been dealing with them for over a month trying to sort it out. I would strongly recommend not dining onsite Or even staying at the Gaylord. The food is not good at all, and the billing is inaccurate to boot..! They cannot figure out onsite dining, the hotel was a nightmare with kids running completely loose acting crazy with no parental supervision and super noisy at all hours of the night. Room. Spacious and clean, I had read some reviews that concerned me, but I had no issues with anything. Enjoyed having a fridge, stove and cookware/cutlery. The curtains could be moved to completely block out light. Water got hot quickly and pressure was fine. I should note that one of my colleagues did have issues with his bathroom, toilet not working so this may depend on your assigned room. Breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was consistently good. Hot items mixed with a good variety of cold, such as waffles, burritos, egg sandwiches, oatmeal, and yogurt. There was even dairy-free alternatives. It was not crowded throughout the week. The lady who managed this each morning was great, always asking if I needed anything. Amenities. The exercise room was a decent size with bike and treadmills and free weights. Pool was not the warmest, but nice to cool off in during the hot summer. It's just long enough for laps. The spa with timer was nice also, jets were not very strong, and could get crowded in the weekend evening. Service and staff. Staff are not in 24-7, they leave at a specific time, but it's late so was never a problem. They do not turn down the room every day, only on certain days, but I was informed this up front so it was also never an issue. The front desk staff in the morning (early on Thursday), in particular, was fantastic, went out of his way to help me out. Overall, given its convenience to the airport and a number of other places, such as the nearby outlet mall and restaurants, and all of the points above, rooms, free breakfast, amenities, etc, it's a good hotel for any short or extended stay.

The hotel is located in the Southlake suburbs and is in a very convenient area, within walking distance of trendy shops, restaurants, bars, and other entertainment. The hotel itself has a classy, somewhat vintage feel. The gold elevator doors and traditional interior give the property a distinctive character, and there are plenty of conference rooms and business-oriented spaces that make it well suited for business trips. Our room was okay, although it was a little dark at night. The bigger issue was the sound insulation. We could clearly hear running water, conversations from adjacent rooms, and doors being slammed throughout the evening and early morning. If you're a light sleeper, this could definitely be an issue. The front desk staff were polite, although the interactions felt a little awkward and transactional. The standout employee was the gentleman handling baggage at the front entrance. He was genuinely friendly, greeted everyone coming through the lobby, and repeatedly went out of his way to open doors for guests. He was easily the warmest and most welcoming staff member we encountered. Overall, this is a classy hotel in a convenient location if you're looking to be close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and entertainment. However, if you're specifically looking for a quiet weekend getaway to relax and decompress, this probably wouldn't be my first choice. The combination of noise from other guests and the surroundings made it difficult to get the peaceful stay we were looking for.
