There's something really wonderful about staying at a Residence Inn. This was my second stay at one of the Marriott properties, and I found the consistency of service, cleanliness, and style very refreshing. Free breakfast (really yummy), free wifi, free parking. All suites, and consistent style from one property to the next which is great because I like knowing I will sleep in a good bed at a hotel! The beds are super comfortable. They provide tea and a microwave for hot water, which can prove very important when you need your chamomile at night after a stressful day. The best part of this Residence Inn were the staff. From the front desk wonderful Shana, who welcomed us with a smile after a 4 hour drive in traffic, to the friendly ladies working to clean the rooms, to Ana, letting me know the best parts of breakfast service and providing me with fresh wonderful coffee. Shana at front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. She was very kind to my parents, making sure my dad knew where to get his espresso in the morning and she deserves a shout out for being so professional and continuing to make Marriott properties look good. Personally, I plan on coming back and staying here again and at other Residence Inn properties. They really do feel like a home away from home. One with a very comfortable bed. read more

We made a reservation for an overnight stay due to being in town for an event. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was spacious and included a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator. The daily breakfast included eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, breads/bagels/wraps, coffee/tea and juices. A waffle maker is also available for self service. I love that they offered oat milk and a different variety of syrups for the coffee. The breakfast station and dining room area were clean and organized. A staff member was present and ensured the food and beverages were plentiful and the stations were clean. The hotel was lovely. Everything looked clean, new, and refreshed. The water pressure was great and the bed was super comfy. I wish I was able to give a higher score for the review but there were some challenges with my stay. I was not able to check in on time, despite check in being at 1600. The lady was bothered with multiple check ins and outs. Housekeeping couldn't keep the demand. They did fortunately accommodate my request for a quiet location but it didn't help much in the end as the hvac was super loud making it hard to sleep even with the bedroom door closed. This issue isn't limited to this hotel obviously. Most do so well in structure and comfort, yet have these loud mechanical systems that ruin it. Overall, given that it's very clean and well maintained for now, I would stay again just with earplugs ;) read more

Rooms are dated and not the cleanest. Stains and handprints here and there, moldy air vent by the elevator on the 6th floor, dirty carpets in hallway and elevator. Hoped to used the gym, but no weight equipment, empty or broken water cooler, and the ceiling torn apart. Bed was good. Didn't use kitchen, but full size fridge was nice. read more

The staff went above and beyond for our baseball family. The welcomed us with a sign and blocked off designated times for only our families to have breakfast and also pool time. This was the first time any of us have seen each other or left the house in months. The hotel was very clean and our room had new bathroom curtains and new towels. Staying within CDC guidelines the staff sanitized after every time we used the pool and segregated a section specifically for our team as well as individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches. It was a very nice hotel. Breakfast included helped with the price being so high during spring break. We were there for a funeral so the prices were crazy high for the reason we were there. I loved the way the room was separated and how you had a full kitchen. We usually stay at the courtyard on 192 and will stay at the residence inn from now on. The accommodations for the week were great for having family over and close to the beach. Thanks for being a great hotel to host us during this trying time. Person who picked the call while driving from Charleston, SC to Melbourne, Fl - she was real quick, since reservation person could not find-she called the hotel to inform that i would be arriving late- this is person who worked till 23:00 hrs - very nice- when i called she immediately recognize , she told to take exit 190 and call the hotel for directions-very nice. 2. Whereas the most outstanding individual is the Mrs. Rose who worked in the Night shift after 11 PM - she has solutions for every thing- Highly customer oriented- she is true great customer asset for Marriott reasons: a. As soon as i called, she gave Papa John's pizza who are open to close to hotel -she knows the number quickly. 2. she tells we can order right away so that there is 30 minutes time for delivery... 3. She provides different solutions. 4. She was worried if i come late or so - highly time conscious. 5. she also gave ideas so that i take cart to take and leave upstairs the person who puts the bill will collect it- she does not want me to come again 6. This place is 5 years young and as cozy as you can get from a hotel. The outside really hides the quality of the place, but it's pretty evident when you check in. They have a den area, fireplace, breakfast area, social nights (with a complimentary alcoholic beverage), laundry room, exercise room, and a pool. I scouted the place and I was quite impressed. The rooms are very homey, with kitchenettes, refrigerators, pull out sofa beds, and just about everything you could want from home, only in a hotel. Top notch place. I am definitely coming back. We were so pleased with our room and stay here. The hotel was very clean all around and our room was so nice and spacious. We had plenty of room to relax and there was also plenty of work spaces for me to get some things done. The room featured a full kitchen with a table, a desk/workspace, a generous size couch, and a pretty large bathroom/vanity area. The TV was on a swivel, so you could watch it from the bedroom, or living area. It was easy to find the hotel, and it is very close to the airport and not far from the beaches. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! read more

I have stayed here many times in the past, but am just now getting around to reviewing it. This is a beautiful, big hotel. The lobby and the common areas are very, very nicely kept. The rooms are typical of Residence Inn. There's a fully equipped kitchen, large living space, work desk area, little dining table, and a large bedroom area. The bathroom has the vanity outside of the tub and toilet area. The rooms are very spacious. There is a big coffee pot with all the coffee supplies you need in every room. My room was super-clean, spotless. The king bed was nice and firm like I like it, with fresh linens and nice pillows. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of fresh, clean towels. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays,, they have nice "socials" from 6pm to 7:30pm where they serve little snacks, sodas, a little dessert, and beer and wine. The area is clean and very nice. This is a nice perk of this hotel. There is also a wonderful full breakfast buffet every morning. The staff here is wonderful. The young ladies at the front desk are very friendly, as is the young man in the breakfast room - and all are so efficient. The housekeeping staff for the 5th floor is also exceptional; my suite was very clean, and all the common areas were kept spotless. This hotel has a pool, a tennis court, a coin laundry room, a gym (none of which I used), and nice business center; they also have free (GOOD!) wifi throughout the hotel. LOCATION: This is a good location; it's a few miles east of I-95, and it is not in downtown Melbourne (that's a quick drive - but not walking distance). It's on a main road through Melbourne, by the airport (it sits way back off of the main street). I didn't hear any airport noise because I don't believe the path of the jets crosses the hotel. If you need the airport, it's just minutes away. There's a big, indoor mall with all the chain stores (Macys, Penneys, etc) about a mile or so away (not walking distance). Across the street is a Publix grocery store, and some little chain stores. I didn't find a lot of good restaurants around this hotel; they were mostly fast food places. When I come to Melbourne, this hotel is my first choice to stay at. I have also frequently stayed at the Fairfield Inn (right off of I-95), and the Courtyard (across the street from the mall). I stay where I can get the best rate! All 3 Marriotts are very nice! p.s. Only to people travelling with dogs. This hotel is pet friendly, and for those of us who love dogs, that's a great thing (there is a fee for a dog). We love it that more and more hotels are welcoming our 4-legged companions. That being said, while I was staying here, I saw a woman and a child walking their small dog through the hallway by the elevator on the beautifully tiled floors. The doggie stopped and made a mess on the floor (not his fault). This woman walked away from the mess and didn't even bother to clean it up - she just expected someone else to clean up after her dog (bad lesson to teach your child). I find this reprehensible. I encourage all dog/cat owners to make sure that they clean up after their animals; I would hate to see hotels starting to ban dogs again because of a few slobs. read more

My buddy and I stayed for one night as we had business in Indialantic to conduct. We were greeted by Melanie. She got us checked in, smiled a lot and honestly looked like she enjoyed her job. After getting checked in we asked for tips on how to get to the beach, Melanie while she was at the front desk was with another customer so her co-worker (her name was maybe Ina) helped us out. Got us pointed in the right direction. The fitness center while small was big enough for me as I was the only person using the treadmill the following morning. While my buddy and I were eating the hot breakfast, Melanie just happened to walk by and asked us how our stay at the beach was. The rooms were clean, modern and everything was in working order but the customer service at this hotel was excellent. If I'm in the area again I will strongly consider staying here. read more

Let me first start by saying the room itself was nice. Clean and in order, mostly. I deducted one star because the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. I deducted another star because the bed was in poor condition and U shaped. My girlfriend and I kept rolling down toward the center of the bed. Eventually she went and slept on the couch. I did not pay for her to sleep on a couch on her birthday weekend. I deducted one last star because I found trash under the bed from a previous patron as I was picking up my belongings. I've stayed at Residence Inn's before and had good experiences. I don't know what's going on with this one. read more

Changed my review from 5 stars to 2 based on the absurd $150 fee to have a pet at a place that called itself dog- friendly. I won't ever stay there again. We've stayed here each of the last three years. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are quite modern -- nice lighting, granite counters, colored accent walls, and other nice touches that make it feel more like a home. The pool area and gym are also nicely maintained. I would have given it 4 stars previously, but now with a new, very nicely remodeled lobby and breakfast area, it deserves a full 5 stars. read more

Place is the best in Melbourne thus far. Plus it's less than a holiday inn. The only issue I've had is some kids playing basketball on the hotels basketball court(yup, it has one) playing in the parking lot by the cars. But the hotel staff made them go in/home/wherever! PAY ATTENTION TO CREDIT CARD AND WATCH OUT FOR COMFORT INN'S OWN STACY! SMHH Overall experience with the room was fine for what you're paying. However , when I checked in I was told a hold would be placed on my card for incidentals and in about 10 days the charge would be reversed ..that's normal so fine no problem. About 12 days later still no return of funds to my card so I call in and get STACY the most rude , obnoxious representative who before even knowing the nature of my call 1 answered the phone as if it were her personal phone and 2 like she hated her job. So as I began to explain how money hasn't been returned and asked when it would be she immediately directs me to call my bank bc she's "looking at my account and can see that they didn't actually charge me it was just a hold" So I call my bank only for them to tell me the opposite of course, I was charged and there is no credit. So I call STACY back and again as I begin to explain what happened when I called my bank she immediately starts screaming over me and telling me ok ok the money will be back in your account in 3-5 days. AFTER I've already waited 12 days, basically she did no research before giving someone an answer on what's going on with their money and then commenced to acting like I owed her something and giving her such grief when all I wanted to know what's going on with my money. Last but not least when I asked to speak with her Mgr bc I just couldn't take her screaming over me anymore and not letting me complete a full sentence she tells me "the mgr isn't here and I don't care you can complain all you want" wow , whoever is in charge of the hiring process at this location sure knows how to pick them. Staff is super friendly. Needed extra towels twice, got them in minutes. Conveniently located on Babcock, just blocks off 192 and just minutes to the beach. Only pet peeve, which knocked them down to 4 stars... Why put HD flat panel TVs in all the rooms but NOT supply HD programming via cable? HD TVs suck at displaying analog signals. Just leve the old CRT TVs in the rooms until HD signal is supplied. Hopefully they will upgrade this in the future. read more

My husband and I along with our two dogs stayed here for 14 days during our move to Melbourne, while waiting to close on our home. I do recommend this hotel to everyone especially if you are staying for for a long period of time. Free breakfast everyday and they also provide free food around 6pm Monday and Tuesday and every other Wednesday. This hotel is dog friendly and very clean. The room was big enough for both of us and two dogs. It had a full size fridge, small stove and everything you need to cook a meal. It has the feel of a small apartment with a open floor plan. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. Overall we both enjoyed our stay here. Make your reservations here you won't be disappointed :) read more

WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD. Booked this hotel through a third party. Upon arrival they asked for my credit card (normal). Upon check out I gave them room cards they did not give me a bill. When I got home there was a $20.00 charge to my card. I called hotel to find out why they charged my card employee stated to me that all hotels do this and charge will be reversed. Two days later $20.00 charge still on my card. I phoned hotel, employee told me charge of $20.00 was for snacks - they have a snack area for guests. Even though I did not have snacks they charge your card $20.00 in case you have one of their snacks. What a way not to run a business. Finally on Friday the $20.00 charge came off my card. read more

This is the worst experience I've had with Marriot. I checked into a room that wasn't cleaned properly. There were dirty towels hanging up in the room when I checked in. The shower had soap stains from the previous guest that I was able to wipe clean myself. There were plastic wrappers on the floor and some of the dishes weren't clean when I pulled them out of the cabinet. When I let the front desk know what happened, they explained that my room had been cleaned by the "new girl" and they offered to have someone clean it. At the least I expected for them to offer to put me in another room but that did not happen. read more

Very impressed with this hotel. Stuck here 60+ days while trying to find a house in Melbourne so I went for the 1 bedroom king bed room. Totally worth it. Great space, spacious and comfortable bedroom. Full kitchen. TONS of hot water and WiFi fast enough to stream my favorite TV shows. The rooms are fairly quiet, I only ever hear people if they are in the hallway, never anyone in a room next to or above me. Friends of mine are staying in the room above me and they have said they never hear my dog bark (thank goodness.. I try but those first few days of hearing noises out in the hall put him on edge) and I never hear them walking around. The breakfast is hot and plentiful. Service is great, they are quick to refill containers in small enough batches so food isn't sitting around forever. Love the social hours M-W, they even have a local Florida Lager available for guests to enjoy. Highly recommend staying here over some of the other places in town. read more

This place is awesome. They have a delicious fresh breakfast buffet every morning and Monday through Wednesday they have cocktail hour with free wine and beer along with appetizers/small meals. The bed and pillows are very comfy, and the kitchen suite was roomy with privacy doors for each room, which made us all feel like we were at home. We had our dogs with us and there is ample walking area and grass space for them to walk around the complex. They had two elevators which were very fast, four washing machines and eight dryers, they also had a small workout room and a nice big pool area to relax in. The staff there is also very nice, and were very friendly to our dogs. The only complaints I have are, they did not pick up trash around the complex, and most of the maids did not understand English, which made it difficult to communicate when you were staying there for 30 days. read more

Clean, friendly staff, good area. Hot continental breakfast is great, and sometimes they have food in the evenings. One major downside: the way the hotel and pool are positioned, if you want any sun, you have to be out there before 3 pm. read more
