Very overpriced for the experience. It's a beautiful place, breakfast was great, of course the beach was perfect. It's just that I was just a little disappointed- the website boasts a lot of amenities/services that did not align with my experience. Anytime I spoke with the manager I just felt like I was a burden, like I was bothering her. I wasn't asking for the moon- I just kind of thought questions like where to get good food, or what to do in the area were par for the course in that line of work. There are 70 Airbnb options in the area for at or under the price-point of the room we stayed at. In height sight... Probably should have done that.

We spent 4 nights at Windemere. Each day starts with a great breakfast. The hosts will do anything to cook to your taste. The rooms are nice and well maintained. The best feature is the location. Close enough to a few good restaurants and only 5 miles from fantastic restaurants such as Frigates. The beach is quiet since there are no hotels near. They have a shuttle from MLB airport. Great location to see rocket launches also.

Simply STUNNING! Excellent service with complete attention to detail. Perfect location for shopping and restaurants a block and two away. Great pool! Steps to the beach. And if that is not enough, the owner Bonnie makes a REAL breakfast in the mornings! Perfect stay!

Pretty much loved everything. The room was super sweet, the breakfast yummy, bed and sheets amazing as was the beach and private deck and walk to the ocean. Only negative was that the thermostat was set to 74 and locked so as not to turn it down. I'd def come back.

As we pulled up to this beautiful B&B after a long few days, we were welcomed by the friendly Innkeeper, Bonnie. Our cozy room had a private bath and a little balcony we could see the ocean from. In the morning, we were greeted by Bonnie with fresh coffee and a beautiful breakfast spread of fresh fruit, cereals, pastry and then made to order eggs and grits and maple bacon served beautifully to our table with crystal glasses for our fruit juice and bright yellow roses as center pieces. The other guests were friendly and we all enjoyed some conversation and a wonderful breakfast. There are no strangers at the Windermere Inn, just friends you haven't met yet. I will definitely return to this enchanting Inn by the Sea.

Location - This hotel is located on a long strip of white, sandy beach between Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach. We loved that the resort sat right on the beach with rooms facing the ocean which allowed for breathtaking views of the Atlantic. Plenty of shopping and food choices are just up the road from this hotel and the Cocoa Beach area is not too far to the north if you are looking to do anything in that area. Rooms & Building - Rooms are all suites and are spacious. They reminded me of what you would find normally at an Embassy Suites. Each room offered a balcony that faced the ocean and the beach. The style and theme was modern nautical which fit the surrounding area. The room had a fridge and microwave and two bedrooms. The bathroom had a spacious rainfall shower. Amenities - The hotel has an outdoor pool & hot tub and large sun deck with multiple loungers. The pool was heated to a enjoyable temp and the hot tub had good jets. Access to the beach is just a short walk from the sun deck. You can purchase an umbrella and two chairs for $40 a day. Food - Like every Doubletree location, warm cookies are always available whenever you want. We were staying here during Valentine's Day and they offered a fun and creative date night menu. Food was good but it was a tad pricey. There was a pool bar that offered drinks and food. We liked the bucket drinks - great price and strong. Vibe - Easy going beach vibe from staff and customers. No complaints. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - This choice offers a great beach-centered hotel yet it is close enough for shopping, nightlife and food. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, so whether you are looking for a relaxing balcony or a sandy spot on the beach, this location offers a great choice for everyone.

Everything was great. We had a 7th floor balcony, with a king sized bed and a living room with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The views were breathtaking. Every room faces the ocean. The front door opened to a view of Indian river, So we got to see the sun set at our front door and the sun rise from our balcony. We even were lucky enough to catch a launch. Other than just steps away from the beach , they also have a pretty good size pool , hot tub and a tiki bar. I recommend bringing a couple of chairs for the beach, and save yourself a few bucks for chair rental. They also have a restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast is not included , even if you are a Hilton member. I was a little disappointed about that. But we did grab a burger and chicken sandwich , which were pretty good. Only a 2 hour drive from my front door, we will definitely look to book another room, the next Melbourne vacation we plan. Plenty of restaurants and things to do close by, including the Brevard Zoo, and a Indian River boat tour.

We could hear the ocean at night which was so relaxing. It is on a 5 lane road but the rooms sit back far enough that you couldn't hear the traffic at all (at least not in room 5). There is a kitchen with a table and 2 chairs. The cupboards had plates, glasses, silverware, pots/pans, etc. There is a small stove/oven and a hotel size refrigerator. It would have been nice to have a full size refrigerator. We would have been able to cook more meals if we would have had a larger fridge to store the food. There is also a small microwave. The living room had one chair, a small couch and a large tv. The bedroom was good sized. It had a queen size bed, a dresser and a small chair. It would have been nice to have a king size bed as that is what we have at home (that took a few days to get use to). And then there is a full bathroom off of the bedroom. It's a bit small and there is a pedestal sink so not a lot of room for hairbrushes/toiletries, etc. There are some small cubbies above the toilet though. The beach is very close to the rooms, maybe 40 feet away. The owners of this motel are super friendly. All in all, it was a very pleasant week there. We would definitely stay there again. PS - there is a fabulous restaurant directly across the street called The Blueberry Muffin that serves breakfast and lunch. It is a must!! Ask for your muffin to be grilled

There's no oven, but it does have a two-burner stove, microwave, sink for dishes, and about a 3/4-size fridge. It was stocked with all the dishes and utensils you'd need to cook a simple meal. Overall, it was comfortable, practical, and a great stay. I'll definitely be coming back.

Shannon, your bartender, is exactly that. She is high‑speed, professional, and makes an outstanding coconut rum runner -- one of the best I've had. Her energy and skill set the tone for a great evening. The hostesses were also wonderful. When there was a bit of confusion with our order, they stepped in quickly, kindly, and made sure everything was handled. Their teamwork and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. My only recommendation: with the number of guests you're bringing in, please get more staff on board. You have some incredibly hard‑working people, and I'd hate to see them burned out. Everyone should be helping bus, clear, and support each other -- it makes a huge difference in service flow. Then there is Bri in valet, who stands out like a shining star. She has been helping me all week, getting the vehicle ready for my Hospice Service K9s in training. Her kindness, consistency, and professionalism are exceptional. Great job, Bri -- you made my stay easier every single day. The front desk staff has been sociable, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I appreciate that more than I can say -- it's not the same standard up and down the beach at other venues. A few suggestions for improvement: * Elevators: One elevator has been shaking noticeably, and another was stuck/not working. With the inspection due August 1st, I strongly recommend getting someone in to address this. Safety and comfort matter. * Staffing: As mentioned, increasing staff coverage would help maintain the high standard your team is clearly striving for. * A hot tub: This would be a fantastic addition and elevate the guest experience even further. The maintenance and cleaning staff have been all smiles and incredibly kind. That warmth makes a difference -- especially for guests staying multiple days. Overall, I've truly enjoyed my stay. You have some phenomenal employees who deserve recognition, and with just a few tweaks to support your growing numbers, the Crowne Plaza could easily be the standout hotel on the beach.

When making the…read morereservation, I selected "any room", but ended up being assigned a beachfront corner suite with a fabulous wrap around balcony. The housekeepers were constantly on top of things. The front desk staff were helpful and professional. The shuttle driver was helpful and informative. The valet staff never stopped moving and were just the kindest folks. And the manager, brian, gave some great restaurant recommendations. The gym, on the first floor, near the pool, wasn't the biggest, but it had everything I needed and seemed fairly new! Loved it. The restaurant is a little pricier than I'd like, but there's the shop in the corner as well as a Starbucks for other options as well as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and InstaCart. Plenty of nice places to sit and work or wait for folks. Nice and dark out back for the turtles (and the stars!), and the live music was an excellent addition. The sunrise views were unmatched. Beach access and a rinsing station. The only complaint I made was the WiFi was a little slow for working and the power outlet at the desk in my room didn't seem to be working (I reported it on checkout, and they thanked me profusely and sent maintenance up, I didn't report it sooner because there were numerous locations where I could work in this room, so it didn't impact my stay). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming into town, and thanked our client rep who had recommended it to us. This was like the best week of work travel I've ever had.
