Went away for a relaxing weekend and that's just what we got! Wonderful suite, great views, and wonderful staff! Suite was huge! Separate little dining area, 1 1/2 baths, living area, double sided fireplace, big separate bedroom, big jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, big shower with a rain shower head, free WiFi and more. We did not take advantage of room service, but you can order from Finn's Bar & Chill. We also had a nice sized balcony that overlooked the fountains that had 2 chairs and a table.

I been wanting to stay here ever since I came to the Island back in 2016. I remember seeing the rooms having balconies over the shopping center and areas and it being super beautiful. When checking in here, there is very little room for you to pull your vehicle in the front next to the valet parking. As I found out later that the self parking is super far away and across the bridge over next to the general free parking to the Island. I think this hotel would have been excellent if they had a nice parking deck just for the hotel guest parking right next to the hotel over the river. If you have a ton of stuff to unload , it can be alittle annoying as you will need to get a dolly to unload and have somebody watch your luggage while you go park your car. The front lobby is a bit small as I am used to having a large island theme lobby. Aside from the parking situation, the hallway was nice but the walk could get to be super long if you're coming from the lobby elevators as the rooms wrap around half of the island. Each room has beautiful decor with fireplace and a balcony overlooking the village, water fountain, or river. The view is pretty over the village and the water fountain. Price of each room is definitely pricey but you're paying to be staying on the hottest area in pigeon forge , the island. I would say this place would be the Disney Springs or City Walk of Pigeon Forge. Thank god the nightlife doesn't get too late as I would never get to sleep inside my room. I believe weekdays the Island closes at 10pm and weekends, it closes at 11pm. The price is definitely worth the convenience of being on the Island. There also is a real Starbucks in the lobby, not a fake one. I really like this hotel and would love to come back during Christmas time as I know it will be super crowded. I recommend you stay here if you wanna be close to the Island or in the midst of the action!

Such a great time! The staff is super friendly and helpful--we were enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to extend our trip by a day, and Zeb at the front desk was very accommodating of our request. The rooms are modern and very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out so you don't feel cramped like at other hotels. We booked a king suite and it was perfect. While storage for clothes could be improved and the door by the tub felt a little odd, neither issue affected our stay. In fact, the bathroom door leading into the bedroom turned into a fun talking point. We'll definitely stay here again when we return!

We did a lot of searching for the best hotel to stay at for our trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and ended up going with the Margaritaville Island Hotel in Pigeon Forge as it appeared to be the highest rated hotel in the area and it was in close proximity to everything at the Island. We booked a king suite with a sofa as we could use the comfort of the extra space and the couch. We already read that the parking situation at this hotel is horrible, and opted to valet our car for our stay. The main issue is the valet area is in an extremely high traffic area and it's pretty small. Luckily, we never had a difficult time getting into the small driveway, but did notice some other cars having a hard time getting in. Check in was quick and easy and Chloe made it a breeze. She provided us with some helpful hints about the hotel, and we were on our way to our room. All the rooms are on the second floor and extend quite a distance. I can see how some older guests may not be so keen on the walk from the elevator if their room is near the pool at the other end; such as our suite. Our suite was a nice size and comfortable, but the village view from the balcony means that there are crowds of people walking a few feet from our bed during the hours the Island is open. The mini bar area had a coffee maker, 2 bottles of water, a mini fridge, microwave, sink, and a tv mounted above all of that. There was a single 3 seat couch in front of an ottoman/coffee table hybrid piece. The entire suite was not carpeted, but that wasn't too big of an issue. We didn't really use the fireplace, but I did turn it on for a few minutes just to see if it was functional if we needed it. The room service is lacking, and trying to get through to the bar downstairs ends up with having to call back again and again, as there is not wait option. I ended up just going down there in person to place my food order. The bathroom was pretty nice and spacious. There were two entrances to the bathroom with a door from the bedroom and a door coming from the main living area. Double sinks and vanities, so it was easy for my beautiful partner and I to get ready at the same time. The shower was also quite spacious with a rain shower head and another one at an angle in front. The only issue with the shower is the rain shower head was a little too close to the glass door. The toilet was situated in the center opposite of the sinks and shower. I did notice the bathroom had a vent, but I didn't see a switch to turn it on, nor did I ever notice it turn on if it was automated. There is a sign on the sink that says that the hotel has gone more green and how to indicate what towels you want the maid service to replace and which towels you will reuse. The king bed was pretty comfortable. It was nice and soft with just the right amount of support. The comforter was a bit thin, but it wasn't a big issue for us during this stay. Every day that we chose to sleep in was comfortable and we didn't want to get out of bed. The lamps at each side of the bed was convenient, but I did notice if you dim them, you will notice some flickering. The clock seemed to have a wireless charging dock on top but couldnt find a way to adjust the time; just the ability to adjust the time the alarm would go off. The maid service was disappointing. We left the do not disturb sign out for most of our trip, but took in the tag for the third day, as we did need the towels, water, glasses, coffee, and the bed all tended to. When we came back, we saw the bath towels were replenished; but not the smaller face towels. The coffee pods were replenished, but not the bottles of water. The bed was also made, which we were glad to see, but when we went to bed at night, and untucked the comforter, we noticed the inner sheet was left all bunched up underneath the covers... The rooftop pool is not bad. We went there during the day, and it can be pretty crowded with families during that time. We did go to the hot tub on a couple of nights near closing time, and it was comfortable. There was a nice view of the Ferris wheel, but the pool side bar is usually closed a lot earlier than the pool area. Overall, our stay at this hotel wasn't bad. There are many reasons we enjoyed our stay, but there are quite a number of issues that should be addressed. An included breakfast would be nice (or even offer breakfast options), as well as better maid and room service. Our suite was comfortable but would love a more private balcony, especially with it being right next to our bed.

The Five Oaks Farm Kitchen is a great spot to enjoy your morning Joe and great breakfast

These 3 spots in Pigeon Forge are must do's when you visit. The Wheel at The Island, The Fat Bear Tavern on Teaster and The Five Oak Farm Kitchen restaurant. Pigeon Forge is such an amazing place to visit anytime of the year. Lots of adventure to be had and memories to be made.

In short - I've docked stars because it is too expensive for what you get, the parking situation is not ideal in any way, and the room was not well maintained or in good repair. Too expensive for what you get - we booked through the hotel and spent $600 a night for a 'two bedroom suite'. Unfortunately only one of the rooms was a bedroom - really gorgeous too with an en-suite shower/bathroom. But the second 'bedroom' was a glorified closet with two twin beds, a tv. The bathroom for that 'room' is through the living room around the corner. I would have been fine if they had marketed it what it is - a suite for a family with parents and two kids, not two bedrooms like I expected. Worst of all besides the obvious disrepair of the whole suite was that one of the twin beds was broken so badly we pulled the mattress into the floor to sleep on it. The next day they repaired it (broken slats and frame - and to be honest the frame is still broken but the pieces are jammed into the space so tight the bed doesn't move) but when I checked under the bed to try and find one of my belongings I found trash and old food and candy. I can't imagine any decent maintenance team would take that time to fix a bed and wouldn't make a call to housekeeping to just vacuum the crumbs that can attract bugs and rodents. It just grosses me out on every level. Lastly is the parking - their self parking is down by the general parking for The Island and the hotel does not offer a small golf cart shuttle or anything similar for handicapped persons or special needs. You can pay extra for valet but their valet doesn't operate 24/7 so at night you can collect your keys from the night attendant and walk through the dark across the bridge to the valet lot and access your car that way. Overall for $600 a night I expect a hotel maintenance team that has the skills to run a magic eraser along a base board. Or use a furniture marker to fix up dings. Or beds that aren't broken upon check in. The only positives were the service we did receive from the front desk and all the food vendors on site. Also it's convenient to be near so much shopping and entertainment. If that's your thing make sure you're ok with the rest.

We spent three nights at the hotel on a recent visit to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. What a fun experience! The hotel is fun with beach vibes throughout. Music is played throughout the halls and I actually started a "beach" playlist with songs I discovered here! There are great shops, restaurants, and entertainment. We are at the Paula Deen restaurant our first day. They serve family-style shareable meals. Only go here if you're very hungry! We also ate at Margaritaville restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed live music. Meandering around the grounds we discovered a bluegrass band playing in front of rows of rocking chairs. This is a fun, family -friendly oasis. You can easily spend days here without leaving! We spent a day at Dollywood, which was about a five minute drive from the hotel. I recommend VIP parking. The hotel was wonderful! The rooms were quiet, in spite of the lively atmosphere. The staff were wonderful. Each room comes with a Margarita machine. We didn't use ours, but thought it was a fun touch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! We can't wait to try another Margaritaville location.

Stayed here for a week on our way back from Florida back to MI. It's in the middle of the mountains, so that is a nice backdrop. The hotel itself is in the midst of a bustling area and island. There's a fantastic fountain show every half hour with lights and music. There's amusement rides and activities for the kids. There's several southern food restaurants and pizza too. There's every kind of snack shop imaginable too. The stay was nice. We had a 2 queen bed on the village side with a balcony overlooking the shops. The River view would have been quieter at night, but you get to people watch on the village side. The room is comfy. Staff are all helpful at the front desk. Then there's the ever quiet and mostly sleepy parrot, Max in the front lobby. We had our key in hand and got checked-in by Christie. It was well after midnight by the time we got up to our room. It's a bit of maze to get to the room and get the right turns and short bridge to the right area. A staff member guided me to the right path. This room appears to be wheelchair friendly. The shops all around remind me of the landing in Orlando and on the Disney property. There's a nice gym and a rooftop that overlooks the fountain and the Ferris wheel. There's a pool ok the rooftop and bar too. Our heater stopped working on our 3rd day here, the thermostat monitor states to replace battery. We had to wait for the housekeeping crew stopped by to replace any items for us, coffee, TP, towels, etc. My husband figured we would wait for them to stop by to bring us stuff. We called the front desk since they usually don't stop by until 11 or so, it's after 9am and it's cold in the room. A nice stay and great location to just about everything here on the island.

Our 2nd time staying here and I can tell you we love it! The people are all so friendly! The rooms are big and comfortable (I did miss not having a fan though) the wait staff at Finn's are great and can make a really good vodka margarita!! The pool area is the best around!

Join the Margaritaville rewards club prior to arrival for free margaritas and other perks prior to arrival. The hotel is prime location for the pigeon forge area. Minutes from tons of shopping, restaurants, and Dollywood. The hotel gives you the tropical feel without being in Key West. We had a river balcony room, which was so relaxing. We were there on a colder weekend; it was too cold for the rooftop pool and hot tub but looked beautiful and must be so fun in the summer. The room was large and clean, with a microwave, fridge, and Keurig that they provided some Margaritaville coffee K-Cups. Our room had a large whirlpool tub, which I took advantage of, it was amazing after a long day of walking. The rainfall shower head was also lovely. The lobby bar had some excellent margaritas and very kind staff. There is a coffee shop in the lobby as well, though we didn't try this out. Being located on the island, gives you quick access to Paula Dean's restaurant, many island shops, Ole Smokey Moonshine, small outdoor music performances, and some amusement rides. The fountain show is pretty with lights/music and there are some rooms with fountain view! The self-parking is a bit of a walk, but cheaper than valet option. Great location for your Pigeon Forge Trip!

Easy to reserve and Octavia was super friendly and helpful at check in. Long walk down to our room but a great room. Just an overnight but the room has plenty of space and amenities. Nice mini fridge, microwave, sling and Keurig. The bathroom is spacious and very nice shower. The poolside bartender provided great drinks and excellent service. Coffee shop has good coffee but the sandwich was bland and English muffin wasn't toasted or warm. 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches for $20.

I have stayed at the Margaritaville Resort Hotel many times. I have stayed with my grown children, my teenager and my husband all on different occasions. All of our visits have been great except this one. We checked in on Friday night and I had booked the double queen room with balcony to watch the fountain shows at night. When I checked in I was told that the computer over booked the hotel and I was upgraded to a Presidential Suite at no extra charge. I wasn't thrilled but decided to just take it and go on with my week. When we got into the room I was really shocked at how dirty it seemed. The balcony overlooked the street and bar and was dirty and the chairs had spider webs all over them. The room had dust all over the tops of the tv's and shelfs. Just lazy housekeeping. The chair cushions and pads were worn and stained and my daughter did the toilet check that she seen on Hotel Impossible and was filth! After feeling deflated we went up to the pool and hot tub. The hot tub jets were not working so we sat in still hot water and no towels. Im not sure what is going on at this hotel but it seems to be going down hill. I cannot imagine paying full price for the presidential suit and it being that dirty. I mean the room I originally booked was 429.00 with tax so Im sure this suite would be close to 550. I just expect so much better for the money and the location!

Dumpster full of rotting garbage below my room and Balcony. This made the balcony useless.

First, let's discuss the Hotel layout. 200+ rooms stretching horizontally along a winding river. If you are as unfortunate as we were to have a room at the very end of the Hotel you will have a long walk in store for you whenever you want to leave or get a coffee, etc.... The Porte-cochere is way undersized for the amount of traffic they receive and poorly positioned against the competing foot traffic in and out of the Island property adjacent to the entrance. It is only a matter of time before someone is injured in my opinion. The check-in desk feels like an afterthought, poorly designed, confusing, not very welcoming, and lacks a designated cueing area. The guestroom corridor is designed with an endless amount of shoulder height wall sconces that we hit several times with our luggage cart while traversing to our room, Really? In the room, the furnishings were very nice and in keeping with the Island theme but not enough dresser drawer space for a family of three on an extended stay. The fireplace was a delight and although we found the thermostat to be too complicated to manipulate, once we figured it out we were fine. In-room lighting was insufficient and dim, and the bathroom shower and sink drained too slowly. We loved the shower layout including the rain-head shower, but again, not enough storage space in the bathroom for three guests. The view from the balcony was tranquil and charming until I looked down to see a dumpster positioned directly below my room filled with rotting garbage. Needless to say, we did not open the door to the balcony again after that discovery. It was no matter though as the balcony was undersized and provided no privacy from the adjacent balconies. What a waste. Now for the service, and by area. Service at check-in was pleasant and efficient. My only comment, I had to ask for a map of the property so I could locate the amenities and services featured, whereas this should be issued to each guest upon arrival. Housekeeping and guestroom services were the low point of this visit. At the end of each day upon our return, we had to request to have our room cleaned, towels restocked, garbage emptied, beds made up, coffee refilled, etc..... This is advertised as a RESORT!!! And I was charged Resort prices. The difference between a hotel and a resort is the SERVICE!!! You will never be a resort until you figure this out. Finally the bright star on this team "Valet", these gentlemen were attentive, quick, the mobile app was efficient and easy to use. 5 stars for Valet! Unfortunately, this will be my one and only visit to Margaritaville Resort.

This is view at night from the walkway to the pool.

I was offered a different room, but then the head housekeeper said my room would be available in 10 minutes. Yay for communication! We had a king room. There was a light-blocking curtain that pulled between the sitting area and the bed so that there was nominal privacy if someone was sleeping on the sofa bed, but as there was only one TV and no actual door dividing the sleeping areas, you couldn't really watch TV after the kids go to bed without disturbing them. The room had a microwave, dishwasher, mid-sized refrigerator, and kitchen sink. It was convenient to be able to keep drinks in the fridge or have the option to reheat leftovers. The bathroom was recently renovated, but the water pressure in the shower was unusually poor. One of the nicest features of the hotel is the outdoor pool that has a decent slide and also some water features for the kids. As the hotel is on a hill, adults can appreciate the views of the surrounding mountains while watching over their splashing kids. There's also an indoor poor, but it's a standard pool, no cool features. There's a free breakfast included with the room. It's pretty basic, usually DIY waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt and a single egg and meat offering. The orange juice was awful. Only apples for fruit. However, it was convenient and free, so I can't complain too much. My only gripe is that housekeeping isn't daily/automatic. They'll clean your room if you have a longer stay, or if you call and ask them to come and clean. I guess the days of daily maid service are done for this class of hotel. We were there only 2 nights, so I suppose it wasn't a huge deal, but I might look to a fancier hotel in the future because I really do like having my bed made up and towels tidied when I'm on vacation.

We opted for that option since as a family of four, more space is worth the cost for us. We got to that room and again, not the cleanest and there was pubic hairs on the bathroom floor which basically sealed the deal mentally nothing good would happen. Because this was a timeshare offer we called them and finally after we left and had lunch they just put us in another room. They did refund the $60 and gave us three breakfast vouchers for each day but even this room was not clean to what "Hilton" standards should be even though the manager walked through the room personally. In the end, this made it very easy to say no to the timeshare presentation as their excuse was Hilton bought the property just a year ago so they aren't all up to standard yet. The lobby was beautiful, the pool area looked nice but my kids said the water was freezing. I would never pay for the $17 dollar breakfast as it's basically the same free stuff you get at every other hot continental breakfast. Basically, you couldn't pay me to stay here again.

My stay was great! The breakfast was very good, the room was very clean. Sitting by the babbling…read moreriver was very relaxing and enjoyable. If you want a room facing the river, you have to ask for that in your reservation (they have rooms facing the river, and other rooms facing the parking lot). We stayed in a river-facing room, and it was great. Staff were all very friendly and I will most definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises. There are ducks and geese, and we even say a crane in the water. Within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions, right on the main drag in Pigeon Forge.

It definitely delivers on the cozy atmosphere and river views -- and yes, there are plenty of geese to remind you you're by the water! Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a nice 24/7 drink bar with instant coffee and tea, plus another bar with juice and tea options during breakfast and again in the evenings (7-10). Small touches like that were a nice surprise. As for the room, it was a good size and overall comfortable. The beds were great, though I did notice housekeeping service declined a bit as the week went on. Towels varied in softness, and the complimentary toiletries were below average -- I'd recommend bringing your own. For a listed 3-star hotel, I'd rate it closer to 2.5 stars. The property is clean and cozy, but for the price point, it could use a few tune-ups. That said, I'd stay here again, especially if you're traveling with family or kids. The pool and hot tub area are nice, and the continental breakfast was fairly decent. Tip: If you're staying on the first floor near rooms 110-120, you might want to request a different area unless you're an early riser -- hallway noise can be noticeable from people coming and going in the morning.

Wowowowow, where do I start?!…read more Pigeon Forge is a mountainous Vegas-like touristy town. There are tons of hotels, some are great and others...not so much. Those great hotels are often going to cost a pretty penny while those more affordable ones are going to be a bit rough around the edges. So where can you stay in Pigeon Forge that isn't going to hurt the bank account while giving you a relaxing stay? Well look no further...Twin Mountain Inn & Suites is excellent AND affordable! I'm a Hotels member and when I saw Twin Mountain Inn and Suites' 5 star reviews, I was curious, especially because at the time, the rates were about $97/night AND pets are only $20/night. Not only that, the room had a river view with a balcony, fireplace, and free parking. Now, I've kept this hotel on the backburner on my account. Last time we visited Pigeon Forge, we stayed at Drury and spent so much more on a "Mountain View" that overlooked the parking structure. So, this time, I decided to go with my instinct and book with Twin Mountain. Boy, am I glad we did!! We stayed on the third floor. Don't let the cover of a book fool you. The parking is easy but can get full pretty quickly, true. However, the room was probably on of the cleanest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good water pressure (albeit, no conditioner or body wash-just a small packaged bar of soap. There were two small bottles of shampoo). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I also liked that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and one just outside of it (vanity). This was convenient for two people. The AC/heater was powerful, too. The fireplace is timed and creates a cozy atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the river was peaceful and there were two plastic chairs and a little table out there to sit and enjoy the view of ducks and geese. Twin Mountain Inn and Suites is close to the strip but away from the flashing lights and noise. It's a great location! Breakfast is included and had biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, sausage, fruit, cereal, and one waffle maker. There's fresh coffee and a juice machine, too. It was a tight squeeze as it was very busy for 7:30am so I decided to get one biscuit and gravy, two sausages, and a yogurt to take back to the room, which were all very good. There's a drink vending machine outside of the lobby and one near the parking lot. The elevator was convenient and they also had luggage trolleys, too. This was an outstanding stay for one night and I wish it had been longer. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend staying with Twin Mountain Inn & Suites for your next stay in Pigeon Forge.

The hotel is older but very well maintained and off the beaten path so we really loved that. The hotel desk staff was very friendly as well. The only issue was there seemed to be many smokers staying there while we were there and they liked to congregate around the front entrance. So every time you came in, you were blasted with cigarettes. Otherwise, the stay was very enjoyable!
