I stayed here with two of my teenagers and it was a great overnight visit. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite that had two bathrooms, a full kitchen, three tvs, and a sofa bed in the living room area that had the kitchen. The layout was perfect because we all had our own space that had a tv and the walls contained the noise and it didn't spread to each other's rooms. Every employee that I interacted with during our visit was lovely and helpful. If our travels takes us to the area again, we'll definitely make a repeat visit. read more

The woman who checked me in was wonderful! Very welcoming & professional. When I went to shower in the morning, I noticed that the toiletries in the shower did not include any body wash. Instead, there were two shampoos & a conditioner. The woman who answered my call to ask if there should be body wash, advised me I could stop by the front desk & pick up body wash, if I wanted some. As I was traveling on business, I did not have time to dress, walk to the front desk, get the body wash, & return to my room. I will make sure I have time to find another Marriott property to stay at the next time I need to visit Murfreesboro. I have included photos showing there were two shampoos & that neither of the pumps had been cleaned prior to my arrival. You can clearly see white residue from a previous guest, which seemed odd to me, as the shampoo is a clear liquid. I ended up having to use the small bar of hand soap, as they do not provide any bath soap. read more

Great hotel. Nice, cute, clean and well put together. My favorite was Joesph, he was kind and very knowledgeable. Great service with a smile. The studio room was bigger than I thought and reasonably priced. We had a stove, refrigerator, a sink, dishes, a pull out couch (that our son said was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE) But at least they had the dressing for the pullout couch right there in the room for you. Oh yeah, they had breakfast every morning also and fresh coffee throughout the day for you with flavored creamers, (my favorite :-) I ADORE this place and I'm looking forward to staying again next year. read more

Disappointing. We stayed here a week. Staff were polite. Unfortunately, we asked for the room to be cleaned four times. One time we were told it would be done and it wasn't. Three times we were told Marriott's or the hotels policy is to provide towels every two(2) days and change only after seven (7) days. We had to ask for towels every other day and the room was not cleaned the entire time we were there. I know this isn't a Marriott policy because I am a Titanium Elite member and currently living in a Residence Inn in Alexandria, VA. The "manager" with whom we tried to talk simply stated "policy" and did not accommodate our requests. Further, limited or no investments have been made. It needs refurbished. Our couch was terribly stained and the clerk said that rooms were supposed to get a face lift "soon." We put a sheet over it to sit on it. Further, the rooms are not kept clean (e.g., mold in shower, dust on tile bar, dirty sofa, trash sets in the halls outside guests' rooms). One staff told us it was because they are short staffed. I would not recommend this Residence Inn. It is not a typical Marriott property. read more

I stayed in this hotel recently for a business trip. I was very pleased all around with it. My room had the mini-kitchen with large refrigerator, two burner stove, dishwasher, lots of dishes, pots and pans, and other kitchen items. There was a living area next to the kitchen that was very spacious. A large desk was next to the TV that swiveled so you could watch from the living room/kitchen or the bed off of the living room. There was a small vanity area before going into the bathroom which was perfect for housing all of my beauty implements! Bathroom was very clean and the shower was quite large! This hotel offers a free breakfast which I enjoyed both mornings I was there. The seating for the breakfast was large and spread out which was perfect! There is also a "market" in the lobby to purchase snacks, etc. The pool area was very clean and had much nicer furniture than I have seen at other hotels. There was also a lot of outdoor seating and a gas grill. I even saw a large Jenga game outside for playing! If this hotel is near where you need to be, book it! You won't be disappointed. read more

Another updated review. I really wanted to like this place but they continue to amaze me. And not in a good way. Today was my weekly scheduled room clean. I have been here for 3 weeks and every week the housekeeper has cleaned the room while I was in it. I wore a mask and social distanced. One week it was the supervisor. So THIS week(today) the girl came in and went out. 5 min later the supervisor knocked and said I needed to leave the room so the girl could clean? WHAT? It was the same supervisor who cleaned it before? Do they make up roles as they go? There was no explanation of this when I checked in or any signage in the room with these details. So I left while she cleaned but COME ON! where is any consistency here? Are we trying to confuse the guests and make them feel stupid? read more

Such a wonderful experience! We will be back to visit this hotel. The staff members are so friendly and the hotel is just beautifully perfect for our stays. As good elite Marriott members we have a bit of experience and have plenty of choices but we always Choose Marriott and have found our new home away from home. :) Also very grateful for the Manager Mary Fluty that Is top of the line at hotel management. At first this place looks new and nice, but just look, it's not difficult to find how dirty this place is! I think my photos are obvious. The house keeping staff must be trained again or fired. Hair all over the place, even in what supposed to be new fresh towels. There are hair all over the bathroom from sink, towel bar, and even in the shower where water could easily wash them away. Dust everywhere, on the towel bar, shelves, everywhere that the house keepers supposed to regularly clean, but the are not. The toilet obviously has not been properly cleaned! The coffee maker is dirty. The fridge is dirty. Not trying to be super picky, but I'm simply trying to point out things that are very obvious! I'm scared to look in detail! read more

This place has to be the worse hotel I have ever stayed in!! First of all we were there for my Nephews wedding and the bride had blocked out several rooms in this hotel and their other hotel The Court Yard. Well my son booked a room back in October for him and the Groom for 2 nights which cost 452.00. We all got there to check in around the same time and they had canceled his room. So they were getting him a room same kind and now charging him 500.00!! So my son asked the lady why it was only 452.00 when he paid in October, but now it was 500.00 . So I stepped over to the General Manager and asked if he could help. He started telling my son well they add all these fees for different stuff tax, a holding charge, ect. Ok what's the different of paying on line or at the hotel? Well my son ( not in a mean voice at all) said, " You may want to tell the customers when they book a room". The GM said " we do sir it's in the small print at the bottom". My son turned to his Aunt who was standing on his left I was on his right and everyone else standing around infact 9 people, and said to his Aunt well this is bullshit. Did not raise his voice at all and the GM after walking away came back out and said " cancel his room he is not allowed to stay here!! WHAT!! for telling his Aunt this is bullshit?? HE JUST CANCELED THE GROOMS ROOM!!! THE REASON THEY HAD ALL THE BUSINESS!! The Bride was called and she called the lady who was in charge of setting up both hotels and meets with her at the hotel mind you the bride did not know what was going on other then he had kicked my son out and now the Groom had no room. This is where it gets interesting. The Lady asked the GM what happened and he had to LIE TO HER TO SAVE HIS ASS AND TOLD A FLAT OUT LIE THAT MY SON CALLED HIM NAMES . I WILL NOT POST WHAT THE GM SAID BECAUSE IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE LIE AND HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!!! What he don't realize is 9 people heard what was said and he is a bold face liar. This man should not be working with the public!! Now onto the hotel room. In the smaller bedroom the TV would not turn channels until you push it 5-10 times, the TV kept going in and out, a black line going down the middle, the shades would not close all the way and the light outside shined into the room had to safety pin it shut, got into shower and the shampoo dispenser was empty, bodywash was empty !! Very disappointed. On a good note, the house keeping staff was very polite and kitchen staff was polite and the lady who checked us out was very polite. Mary did a good job with helping the bride with getting the groom and my son a room, but if she does nothing to this GM about how he lied and treated his customers then she will let this man keep treating people with disrespect. read more

I've stayed here repeatedly for some two years. Nice hotel. I like it. But as of this writing they are doing a renovation from Nov 2023 through end of April 2024. Terrible noise issues. They did not advise that this is going on prior to check in. They put me in a room below the floor they are renovating and noise in early morning is an issue. Front office says they don't start working until 8:00 but they start working about 3:00 to 4:00 am. And no one working speaks English so you can't ask them to stop. Today on Sunday carpet is going in and the fumes are terrible. They promised me a room above the construction (I am below right now) but when I returned to move, they said they had no more rooms left. I am supposed to be here another four days but I got myself a room at another hotel and am checking out. I forgot to mention that the last three times I stayed here no one cleaned my room and have been here a week and they empty the trash bins by the elevator every other day and I have not ever witnessed the hallway carpets having been vacuumed. Not so clean. But I love the desk space where I spread out an do a lot of work. Nice desk chair also. Stay clear until May 2024. read more

We came down to the Nashville area while on vacation but unfortunately, all the hotels in the city were booked due to the film festival. So I looked in Murfreesboro, and found this great new hotel! We were immediately wowed by the look of the place. This hotel just opened about 3 months ago so everything is brand new. The lobby is a great meeting place for breakfast and is set up for people on business as well. The rooms were bigger than our New York City apartment, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. We will defiantly stay here again. I just wish the pool was open. It looks so inviting. read more

The room was nice but it smelled of smoke. I informed them and they said thanks. Three days later there is a $250 charge for me smoking in the room. Complete crap. I don't smoke and I have a witness I told them about it. Now it makes me wonder if they even cleaned the room before I got there. If they had they would have smelled the smoke too !!! We have stayed at this location multiple times over the years and this has been one of the disappointing times. The kitchen in our room has crumbs on the counter and the dishes were not clean. It looked like someone had food on the plates and then put them back into the cupboard. Our floor was dirty and we had kids coming with us, so we had to ask them to come in and vacuum. Our room was over the pool which is open until 11pm on weekends and you can hear kids screaming just FYI. That's not fault of the hotel but if you go to bed early it makes it difficult to sleep. Our bed was very hard this time so we didn't sleep well all weekend. I thought that was odd because we have stayed at this hotel before but maybe the rooms do not all have the same bed. On a positive note, the pool is amazing and we loved the comfortable pool furniture. There is a kiddie pool section but it's part of the larger pool so keep an eye on your kids. read more

Brand spanking new. Clean, modern lines, minimalist design, abundant choices for breakfast--from do it yourself waffle to boiled eggs and chipotle sauce-- there's something for everyone in the breakfast offerings. The best part is there is no charge. Yes, free. Plenty of great hot, tasty coffee, too. Free tastes pretty darned good. As with new properties, they seem to still be working out some kinks. The bathroom in our room, while design-cool with the semi wet area approach, lacks good strong consistent water pressure and, at least in our room, the shower control doesn't stay put. Once you set it, it gradually, then quickly, moves to hotter. We gerry-rigged it with a wet washcloth as a counterweight to keep it steady during a shower. We told the front desk about it and it seems to be a commonly known problem. The wifi isn't bad, but isn't great. My family of four doesn't have an unusual number of devices at 7. Hotels seem to be behind in recognizing that one person may have multiple devices and if a guest has kids...well multiply that number. For example, b/c we are staying more than a week, my kids hooked up their PS4 and our Apple TV. Add those to our laptops and phones and we have exceeded the device count by a multiple of 2. Having said that, the tech support here have been super helpful and responsive. The mini kitchen is perfect. We have used the heck out of it. The fridge is roomy and has accommodated all of our doggy bags and Grandma-made goodies. The A/C has worked well, regulating our temperature and humidity super well. It's amazing the amount of moisture one human puts off and our room A/C is managing all of it super well. The bed is pretty comfy. Nice fit out. Roomy drawers to settle in for a stay over weeks. Some details still need looking after in the cabinetry. We will point them out as we go along. The staff are friendly but seem a bit stretched, not confident, and appear scrambled. We have also used the washing machines and dryers and all seems to be in good order there. The location is exceptional. Two minutes from access to I-24. Super easy for my morning commute. Here's hoping that feedback will be incorporated to improve this location. read more

After my experience last week, I was originally going to give this place one star. I even started my yelp review while waiting for my plane. But my co-worker distracted me, life got super busy, and then the hotel sent me a survey. Thanks to Marriott's superb customer service, I'm bumping my rating up to four stars and will be happy to stay there the next time I'm in the area. When I've stayed at really pretty places like the Residence Inn, I expect my stay to be... Thorough. As in, if you take the time to fold my towels and paper towels all fancy, make sure that the microwave is clean on the inside, too. If you see me apologizing to my co-worker for running late in the morning and during checkout not even 30 seconds later, I ask you for a receipt, don't stare at me and tell me the receipt is in the room. I am not asking for fun, I may have missed it because it wasn't on the floor where it usually appears during the night... I just need the dang receipt. Etc. As in these are just some examples. So, when I got the survey I let them know what I had experienced and how disappointed I was, especially when I had lobbied for my coworkers to stay in that hotel. A few days later, I received an email from a manager stating how sorry she was and that she was happy to compensate me, that she was going to ensure that the issues I brought up were not reoccurring, and that she hoped I would give them another chance. I called her and was impressed by how easy it was to reach her. After being disappointed, I didn't expect anything else from the hotel and was surprised and actually... Delighted to receive such amazing customer service. As in I had to create a yelp review. As in I raved about it to my coworkers. As in, when I'm back in the area I will go out of my way to give this place another shot. Good customer service took me from "Never Again" to "Looking forward to giving you another shot." This was such a great experience! I was not expecting all the amenities, we had a full kitchen in our room with dishes, silverware, ice maker, microwave, stove, cookware, and anything you could possibly need to make meals. The desk area was perfect for everything we had to do and I loved all the extra plugs and charging outlets around the room. The property, on the surface, is decent; but it has the smallest rooms of any other RI I've ever visited. Good location for restaurants, highway access, etc. I did find mold in my shower! My problem is with the customer service. Apparently, some inexperienced person handled the check-in which botched our check-out and hindered BIG TIME the posting of our rewards points. I made every effort to avoid the screw up by telephoning the property while out on a tour (we were vacation) and was assured everything was fine--Hah!! Two weeks later I'm still trying to get things straightened out. Residence Inn and Vision Hospitality Group: Make note of this: Everyone has a hiccup now and then. It's how a business takes care of its customers when a hiccup occurs that leaves the customer feeling good and recommending you and wanting to return to you. You've made me want to only stay at corporate hotels instead of the franchises. read more

Just stayed at this newer hotel, and needed to bring a disgusting situation to the staff's attention. I was in the washroom in the lobby when a staff member who was using the washroom exited a stall. I had just witnessed her working in the kitchen area where they were preparing the breakfast. She used water to wet her shirt and left WITHOUT washing her hands!! I brought this to the attention of the young lady behind the desk and was told she'd talk to her. That's it???!!! My family including my mother who has a depressed immune system because of a battle with cancer had just eaten and could get sick and she gets talked to???!!! Don't stay here!!
