Most disappointing stay we have ever experienced and totally out of standards for a Marriott property. Originally checked in for a two week stay but had to leave after five discouraging days. Two out of three washing machines out of service. Pool was closed indefinitely. No bar of soap in the bathroom to wash with. No roll of toilet paper other than the half used one on the dispenser. Provided breakfast items were marginal at best and not replenished. We were told our first housekeeping would take place on the third day. Never happened. Lackadaisical desk clerk told us it would happen the next (4th) day. Came back at 4:00 to find nothing done. Fifth day we finally got serviced, but we had had enough and checked out. Every interaction with staff provided a "really don't care" attitude. Wouldn't recommend this facility to my worst enemy. read more

This hotel was serviceable for our needs. The first room we were in had some issues (I'll spare you the details) but Bri at the front desk was extremely helpful, kind, and was able to get us moved on short notice. Definitely left a lot to be desired in the fit and finish department but it was a fine place to sleep and let the kids enjoy the small indoor swimming pool. Breakfast every morning was a plus. The folks working here were all extremely nice and they took this from 3 to 4 stars for us. read more

Great great hotel. I'm pretty short (5'2") and I was telling the lady at check in that most hotels put the plates and cups in shelves too high for me. And what happened when I walked in my room? They were too high. I called the front desk and she came to my room and climbed on a chair and brought everything down to my level. And she was shorter than me. I told her I had bad knees, had surgery recently, so she so kindly got on the chair for me. The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. And it's nice to finally go to a hotel that actually has filled up shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The guy up front with the fancy shoes he's the best too. I'Ill definitely be back. read more

I have stayed at a lot of Marriott Bonvoy properties but I have never in my entire life experienced customer service as exceptional as this hotel! From the second Glenda checked us in, she treated us like family! She was welcoming, friendly, knew the rest of our family by the time we got there, tried to accommodate staying near each other and greeted us warmly each time we were in the lobby. At one point, she overheard me sharing with a family member that our room seemed dark and I heard her call over the radio to deliver an additional lamp to our room!!! I didn't even have to ask! Like, what? As my family and I walked to the elevator to go to our room upon arrival, the sweetest lady from the housekeeping staff warmly welcomed us, wished us a great trip and told us she was happy we were there! And Mika was equally fun and hilarious on the night shift! We looked forward to seeing her when we were in the lobby. Your breakfast area staff were helpful and so accommodating! And the rooms were spacious, clean; and well equipped! Our stay was for a trip of a lifetime and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else! read more

This is a picture of my boyfriend plunging our seemingly hopelessly broken toilet at 2 am on a Saturday. We checked in yesterday evening; immediately noticed the toilet was broken; and alerted management. For some bewildering reason, management not only couldn't manage to get anyone into our room to fix the toilet today (even though we checked in the afternoon; found the toilet still useless; and re-asked them to please do so), but refused to even come look at it this evening -- instead, the night manager insisted, after we arrived back from a music festival around 2 am, that we needed to COME DOWN TO THE LOBBY and GET A PLUNGER OURSELVES to fix a toilet that we didn't break. We are Marriott Titanium Elite status and have stayed at numerous Marriotts; there have been problems sometimes, but management always handles the issue professionally. That has not been the case here. We will not be returning to this hotel and do not recommend it to anyone else. read more

Pros: Clean, pretty lobby and rooms. Good breakfast in the AM in the lobby--eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shout out to both Sharon and Skeets-- both of whom went the super extra mile to try to make our stay as good as possible (give them each a raise!!). CONS: Now--our room. The bathroom makes this a LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN. Bathroom floor is super slippery. Bath mat was not anti-slip, but just a towel that acted like a Slip and Slide on the marble floor. Surface of shower was very very slippery as well. No non skid strips or bath mat. Shower was 5 feet long. At entry in back was shower faucet and a hand rail. However, there were NO HANDRAILS in the rest of the shower. So Slippery! So dangerous! The hard part for us: We had asked for and reserved a HANDICAPPED ROOM. I am disabled. But we did not get one. Room was very difficult for me-- mattress was too high, hard for me to get up on. toilet was super low to the floor... very hard for me to get on/off. And the shower: NO SEAT or chair to sit on, no hand held sprayer. I had to do sponge baths for several days.. no way to shower in there w/o being able to sit down. For G-d's sake, buy a $59 shower chair from a medical supply company and have it available for guests. When a handicapped room did become available, we were shown the room--- there was a hand held sprayer in the shower-- BUT AGAIN NO SEAT, NO WHERE TO SIT. Unacceptable for me. Why did they confirm with us they were giving us a handicapped room, but then did not have one for us? read more

Great location! Room was very clean. Front desk staff and housekeeping were courteous friendly and went out of their way to help us. Thank you Sharon for your help in confirming our room and also the night clerk with the fun grey hair who recommended a fabulous restaurant nearby that checked us in. Patrick the car service you suggested was awesome Alex took great care of us. Keep up the good work. We will definitely stay with you again! Tips for improvement: - Replace carpet in elevators with more durable material to accommodate rain and pet traffic - Breakfast..when your able bring back buffet menu however have assigned staff serve the food in to go containers (no guests in food area)..This worked really well at your Davis, CA location. My husband and I stayed at this property for one month. I think after 30 days we can give an accurate review. The General Manager, Mr. Dole was very accommodating. He is a hands on manager and we saw him just about every day. Two of the front desk associates we had the most interaction with, Sharon and Monica, were both so efficient and friendly. The greet guests coming and going with warm welcomes and good byes. COVID precautions are definitely in place at this property. Masks and gloves are being used and the property is very clean. It has to be so hard to work under the current COVID and employee shortage environment. The employees at this property are doing an excellent job. The location couldn't be better, minutes from downtown Milwaukee and close to surrounding suburbs. Great parking too. I saw the picture posted on this site of the guy plunging the toilet, all I have to say is who's fault is that! We will be back next year! read more

Overbooked reservations. Lied to us about overbooking. Did not get room booked two months early. No face or hand towels. 2 lightbulbs burned out. Toilet seat very vey loose. Kleenex book empty. Bathroom door does not close. Cannot recommend. Stay away. read more

While the hotel itself is fine, the management and the housekeeping staff are NOT taking precautions seriously. Seeing housekeepers with masks on their chins in the hallway is bad enough but one housekeeper got on an elevator with me with no mask at all. When I told her that she needed a mask, she gave me an empty look and then stared into her phone. Stepping out of the elevator, I said that she REALLY needed to take this seriously, and she maintained a fixed stare into the phone. Maybe the phone was providing an epidemiology lesson on virus transmission? If the staff is not taking masks seriously (in elevators!) then I doubt they are really doing the deep clean that Marriott claims is the new policy. read more

Great hotel - large rooms, full kitchen (minus the oven), large sitting area and bathroom. The room was clean and new. The free full hot breakfast every morning was great. We also enjoyed the happy hours during the week with appetizers and one night it was even bbq sandwiches! The pool is small, but clean and big enough for the kids. The only thing is the freeway noise - request a room on the other side away from the freeway. read more

Seriously fantastic hotel! New construction, spacious rooms, well-appointed, comfy beds. Almost passed by this one because it was a "category 3" on the Marriott website. It's really MUCH, MUCH better than that and it was incredibly large!! Enormous bathroom, huge 2-person glassdoor shower, "living room" area as big as in my house! Pick 'n' Save grocery store directly across the street as well as adequate "strip mall" fooderies. Very happy we booked this one and will definitely be back in future visits to the area!! read more

This hotel is fairly new and is beautiful. The breakfast however leaves much to be desired, it was under stocked and cold. When I approached the general manager she didn't acknowledge my complaint and just mentioned other things that they offered. Don't think this showed very good customer service, which is a shame for such a nice hotel. It was a real turn off. Not sure I could recommend this hotel. read more
