I would not recommend this hotel since there are several better options in the area. Overall, the hotel is outdated and is in poor condition. The staff were all great--it's just that this hotel is in need of a reno. My room doesn't smell bad, but the hallways stank. The lighting in the rooms is poor and spooky, and the arrangement of the room is strange. The only window is in the bedroom, so it's sort of secluded and dark in the living/den area. Saw some bugs. It is hard getting connected to the Internet, and if I had, it was slow and kicked me off several times. The Internet service is terrible and unreliable. No recycling bins. Some pros: got free breakfast, good tv channel options, coffee maker, free coffee, nice plug ins throughout, easy parking, and it is nice having a microwave and mini-fridge in the room.

Not a pattern that is straight up dirt and it even smelled

Bed was comfortable and everything and my room was fine but my Titi's room was disgusting!! Bed sheets were all dirty and if u shined a flashlight at it you cannot see the dirt but if u face it in sunlight you can see all the dirty whatever blood stains on it . Outside in the parking lot we found gun bullets! Food was rubbery and gross. I'm just a teen and even I know better

Outdoor pool closed / not filled at the end of June with upper 70-80 degree weather. Why??????

We booked this hotel a couple of months in advance for a moms weekend getaway in June (6/25/22). After an extensive search for a hotel that had both indoor and outdoor pools (indoor just in case of bad weather) the Four Points appeared to check all the boxes. First when booking online I requested an early check in, so we could get as much pool time as possible. Online early check in was noon. We get to the hotel at 1pm and were told that our room wasn't ready and even if we requested an early check in that it could not be guaranteed... my suggestion would be not to offer a service you cannot provide. Second when we came back after 3pm when our room was ready we asked reception about the hours the restaurant and pool were open. They quickly told us the restaurant hours but hesitated on the pool info... we were told that their outdoor pool is closed. It was in the 70's (temperature) in June and the entire reason we picked this hotel to use the amenities they had advertised. We were then told that they had to drain their indoor pool earlier that day because someone had gotten sick in it and they were unsure when it would be filled up/re-open. It turned out the indoor pool was re-opened within an hour of our arrival. Finally we get down to the indoor pool area and I was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub and sauna... To my utter disbelief and disappointment there were signs on both the hot tub and sauna that said out of order. The hot tub was especially disgusting because it was full of the most disgusting brown/green water. You would think if you could go through the trouble of draining an entire swimming pool of contaminated water it wouldn't be that difficult to do the same for the hot tub. The hotel room itself was fine, the walls were extremely thin. It was almost beneficial that the AC was so loud because it drown out all the noise from out in the hall. As I'm sure you can tell from this long review I will not be returning to this hotel for another stay.

The Four Points Sheraton is a hotel that could be great with an overhaul. The actual hotel is pretty nicely located in a quiet suburb of Milwaukee. Rates were way cheaper than downtown so it was a good option price wise. The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. My room itself was very spacious and had separate sleeping and front room areas. The issue was the room was very dated and worn out. You could tell this place has hosted many guests and it is in need of some remodeling or at least a quick facelift. Even with all the lights on the room felt drab and dark. The bathroom was also pretty small and needed some TLC beyond normal housekeeping. On the plus side the sink is outside of the bathroom for privacy. There was a restaurant and bar in the lobby that was very crowded on the Wednesday night. They have a prime rib special that people were saying was very good, so check out the restaurant if you stay here.

The Entrance, as we approached the entrance you could see people wearing beautiful dresses, and suits as far as the eye can see. It was safe to say, me and the kids where a little under dress. As I check in after making reservations, I decide to bring my oldest daughter, there she asks "why does everyone look so pretty daddy "she says Kinda sad, I responded "it's because there having a wedding sweaty" she looks back at me and asks "do I look as pretty as them?" I responded "of course you do sweaty" the receptionist then says" you look very beautiful" with a smile my daughter smiles back. Later that night I decided to get the kids ready for swimming, Later I find out they have restrictions and reservations for the pool, I understand this completely, due to covid being a high risk and all.  So, I make reservations and head upstairs to get the kids. We get too the pool and the first things that happens is my second eldest falls, she lands on her but unharmed. I tell her "No running in the pool area" she gets the point and shrugs me off. Meanwhile others where swimming with us, they were very friendly, everyone had a good rest of the night that night and sleep pretty well, besides my mother who was not a fan of soft beds. I watched Demon Slayer and sleep like a baby after a nice hot tub soak. The Morning After, I woke up like every morning to the sounds of my family, we all decide to have breakfast at the hotel, they charge 15$-3$ depending on the type of breakfast you decide to get, we of course got the 15$ breakfast. As soon as we sat down the place looked liked no one was working in the dining hall, it looked empty, we sat down and waited at least 15-20 min before being served, then they asked us what we wanted to order, afterwards they took another 20 min to bring us are drinks and food. We got are drinks last, and some of the food was cold, at this point we were very disappointed, even after my youngest spilled syrup on the table, my mother goes and asks if they could help clean it up, they then start by handing her the dirty rag, he stops knowing that wouldn't be the right choice and decides to do it himself, at this point I had to say something, so they finally bring me the bill, it was around 46 dollars, I stand up and tell the young man, " we have a few issues with are service" he looks back at me, I then continue by saying " First we did not get are drinks for at least 20 min, The food was cold, and the service was not good at all" he then reply's "let me go and speak with the manger" later he comes back with a bill of 20$ and apologies for the in convince. Later that night, we just got back from watching Godzilla Vs Kong in theaters for my oldest daughter's birthday, we then celebrated with a cake, in the hotel room, and song her a happy birthday. She was very happy with her birthday that day. Later that night I made reservations for just me and my wife for a private session in the pool, it just so happened we were the only ones at that time, it was one of the most romantic moments, that I've had with my wife, in several years. The lights where dim, water clear, everything was perfect. Later that night we went upstairs, and made love, and both passed out shortly after. The last day and night of are stay we decided to eat at Denny's instead for breakfast, we didn't get back to the hotel till later that night. My wife asked me if I could do some laundry, I told her "Of course" I go down stairs and ask for some quarters, the man looks and says" I have no quarters sir, I am so sorry maybe you can ask the bar they may have some" so I go over to the bar, where the people who served breakfast where that one day. Without even thinking I ask "do you have any quarters, I need to do my family's laundry and the young man said you may have some" The women looked at me and without even checking says" nope sorry, we are all out of quarters" I then say "you must have some?" the manger comes and says rudely "I can get it out of my purse if it would make you happy" I softly say "no thank you "and walked away. Later on, that night I ask my mother, who is our driver, if she may have any spare change, and by chance she did.  I then go down stairs again, and buy the soap, from the hotel store, I ended up buying a few things, I then ask the front desk how much he then reply's "for you 4$, to make up for not having any quarters" I then reply "Really thank you " and continue to do my laundry and head too bed. Leaving the hotel, was Kind of sad, I wanted to stay longer. A part of me loved the hospitality, and adventures that it brought, it wasn't too bad for the price I payee, which was 636$ dollars for four nights, for two bedrooms. The place looks amazing at night when lit up, as long as you don't go on the weekends they may not be as busy, the hotel was a wonderful change from your basic 60-90$ a night hotel. There were times I got upset, however they did everything to try to help me threw it. My only complaint now was how

From the moment I walked in, the lobby was overwhelmed with a heavy, Axe body spray-like scent--so strong it felt like walking through a middle school locker room. I assumed it was temporary and that my room would be a relief, but unfortunately, it was worse. The room smelled musty, like a house that hasn't been aired out in years. To make matters worse, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, which is unacceptable for a hotel at this level. Beyond that, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was lacking. For a boutique property, I expected a much higher standard, but the space felt worn and not well-maintained. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the towels were rough--far from the soft, high-end feel you'd expect. The most concerning part of my stay, though, was waking up at 1:45 AM struggling to breathe. It genuinely felt like a reaction to something in the room--possibly mold or poor air quality. I initially thought I was getting sick, but after spending a few hours away the next day, I felt completely normal again, which makes it hard to ignore the room as the cause. If you have any respiratory sensitivities, be cautious. I contacted the front desk to explain the situation and was told checking out early without being charged for another night wouldn't be an issue. I even offered to return around noon so they could turn the room, but was told not to worry since they weren't sold out. When I returned later that day, there was no note, and the staff refused to honor what I had been told, citing the late checkout time. While I understand policies, the inconsistency and lack of follow-through were frustrating. I also dined at the hotel restaurant, which didn't help the experience. The food was overpriced for the quality--my salad was warm, fries were room temperature, and clearly sat out too long. Dessert was equally disappointing; the lemon tart was buried under an excessive amount of powdered sugar, making it unpleasant to eat. It's honestly a sad day when I transferred to a basic airport hotel--Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport--and had a significantly better experience. The bed was more comfortable, the towels were actually soft, and even the shampoo and conditioner were noticeably better quality. On top of that, the Hyatt was spotless, which only made the lack of cleanliness at Iron Horse stand out even more. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations. Between the condition of the room, air quality concerns, cleanliness issues, and poor service recovery, I won't be returning.

We arrived overnight, 1am, and it was nice that someone was there to lift our heavy shit up to the lobby. It was also nice that there was a person, behind the desk, as we walked in, to check us in at that hour. They must have expected us bc check in took about 30 seconds and everything was ready which was greatly appreciated after a long day of traveling. The man said some shit about the room being over to the left. I saw an elevator and my first instinct was to go in it. We stepped in it and when it was time to choose a floor, my heart sunk when I realized that our room number was 123. You know what that means. First floor. I don't think I have ever been on the first floor in a hotel in my life. Ok so we then stepped out of the elevator (humiliated) and went around the corner. Needless to say, the view is trash. I think there is both a wall and a dumpster, within our view. The ceilings are high and that means the curtains are very high and therefore hard to move. The room is on the smaller side but the high ceilings make the room seem larger. The bathroom was decently sized at least. The shower was also decently sized and with decent water pressure. The water temperature was easy to figure out and control. The toiletries were well stocked. We were given 3 towels for two of us which is better than two but worse than four. The towels were basically sand paper. To the contrary, the bed was heavenly. I LOVE that they do an actual sheet rather than just the fitted sheet and a fucking duvet as if we are sleeping in the tundra. One of the pillows was a joke of a pillow, which is unfortunately pretty common in hotels I have noticed. The other pillow had barely adequate enough integrity to be better than a few layers of tissue paper. Thermostat worked well. Location, btw, couldn't be better. The market is basically right next door as well as many restaurants and bars. The house keeping is every other day. Our room got zero TLC after our first night. After the second night, our room was made up but our three "main towels" had tumbled down to two which is, as said above, worse than three. Oh, when we arrived there was that extra roll of toilet paper but the active roll (on the dispenser) had like two sheets so we were cutting it close after the first full day and had to request another. When our room was serviced on the second full day, we weren't given any additional TP! Cutting down our towel supply and not replenishing the TP? What did we ever do to you? We had to ask for another buffer/safer roll again for the second night in a row. Desk people probably thought we were dumb and shitting ourselves. This stuff weren't deal breakers but made for a less than ideal stay.

They greeted me warmly, helped with my bags, and even brought them up to my room. Before my trip, I was honestly a little nervous because I'd heard so many stories about the hotel being haunted. Thankfully, I didn't experience anything unusual at all. It ended up being one of the best hotel stays I've had. I stayed on one of the upper floors, and the views were beautiful. Waking up to the sunrise and watching the sunset in the evening made the stay even more special. The staff checked in with me every day to make sure I had everything I needed and were always happy to offer recommendations. They even upgraded my room at no extra charge, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The rooms include complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water, and I was impressed with how fast the elevators were. I never waited more than a couple of minutes. The location is another huge plus. It's right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, and so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions are within walking distance. If you don't have a car, it's incredibly easy to get around, and Uber rides are very affordable. One fun thing about staying here is that there's always a chance you'll run into someone well known. I was told that every U.S. president has stayed at the hotel, which adds to its rich history and charm. The people staying at the hotel were just as friendly as the staff, and I met so many wonderful people during my visit. If you stay here, make sure to go all the way to the top floor and check out Blu. The views alone are worth it. I truly loved my stay at The Pfister. If I'm back in Milwaukee, I would absolutely stay here again. Next time, I also want to treat myself to the spa and salon inside the hotel.

YOU MAY NOT GET THE ROOM YOU PICKED OUT ON THE APP Be cautious that if you book a room on the app before arriving, they might try to put you in a different (worse/noisier) room when you get there, telling you the 'view' is better. This happened to us and I overheard it happening to someone else checking in. The room they chose to put us in was facing the street and extremely noisy. (Not worth the so called 'view'). After unpacking and getting ready for bed and trying to bear it, we decided to ask to switch rooms (to the room we'd originally booked on the app!) We packed up and moved to a room facing the alley, although it still had *some* street noise, it was much better. I think they try to put you in the 'unsellable' rooms in hopes that you'll stick with it. We still had to wear ear plugs and run the A/C at night to drown out some street noise. You might argue that any downtown hotel would have have street noise, but I don't think this older hotel has very good insulation. Read on for the PROS AND CONS... PROS ~Friendly, accommodating staff, really can't fault them. Kathy in the breakfast room is especially friendly. ~Decent location, walkable to the airport bus stop, Avis, Harley Davidson Museum, River Walk, Pabst Mansion. Most attractions were a 15-20 minute walk. For sights further by the lake (i.e. Milwaukee Art Museum), we took a ride share. It would have been more convenient to be closer to the waterfront, but this is reflected in the price. (Which I thought was still expensive!) ~They gave us some drink vouchers to use in the bar as we were celebrating an occasion. That was a nice touch and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar and the friendly bar tender. ~Clean. ~Daily housekeeping service. ~We paid for the breakfast buffet as part of our tariff, which was in a dining room with a buffet all but one day (a Monday) when they had us pick off the menu as there weren't enough people to warrant a buffet. Despite the buffet, waitstaff serve your drinks, so factor tip into the price. Try to get a table with Kathy serving you. ~Standard room amenities like iron/board, safe, decent shower, pump toiletries, large TV, mini fridge. ~Three elevators that always came quickly. CONS ~Noisy, especially if your room faces the main road. A lot of noisy motorbikes, sirens, people blaring music. The hotel can't help this, but it didn't seem like the windows were insulated very well, perhaps due to the fact it's an older hotel that's been renovated. I would not recommend staying here on this factor alone. ~Small bathroom. We like to both be in the bathroom getting ready in the morning -- one shaving while the other is putting on make-up, etc. The bathroom was definitely tight. ~When we checked into the first room they put us in (we later switched rooms), the A/C was soooo cold. We couldn't adjust it, so they sent a technician out to fix it. ~When we switched to a different room, the TV didn't work, so a technician was sent out to fix it the next day. ~Older hotel that's been renovated -- you can tell by the popcorn ceilings. ~No pool. ~Still quite expensive for the location/noisy rooms. ~Breakfast is not completely self serve, so tipping is expected. (They take you to a table, take your drink order and serve your drinks). ~Decor has been updated at some point, but is still a little dated. Helpful?

This may be unique to our room, all the rooms at the hotel are different. Not an inconvenience, more a note to ownership for an easy usability upgrade. We had an issue with our automatic lock keypad at midnight after walking home from the festival. We texted the number and someone responded right away. There is not a front desk here so quick response to offsite staff is critical. The hotel contact was friendly and drove to us in 15 minutes to resolve the issue. Tips if you stay here - a) get pre-reservations at Agency cocktail bar set inside the hotel if you're into libations (including non alcoholic). It's a small space and super fun time, they book up quickly! b) when they offer you a dedicated parking space right outside the hotel for an additional fee, take it. We found this so convenient to have our car in the same spot for the full stay I enjoyed the stay here and would happily stay here again, particularly with any planned downtown activities.

Our famlily loved the seperate stand alone entrance to our loft , this allowed us to come and go and not interfer with the restaurant guests. The kitchen and room setup was amazing. The room had exposed brick and high celings and was perfect for a family of 4. We utlized the scooters to get to numerous places in Bay View and Lake Michigan beaches. We could park the scooters on the curb outside the building and that was very convienent for us to come and go and have a scooter available The Sorella Restaurant that shares the building is amazing , we had a neapolitan pizza" and 2 pasta dishes and it was supurb and a fast easy for guests to have a great meal and not have to leave. This will be the only place that we will stay when we come back to Milwaukee in a few years. Thanks again for providing a wonderfull guest expirence.

God, where do I start?…read more First off the place is sophisticated and well appointed. That's not the problem. I was there on a Saturday night and my room was just above the street, freeway side. There was non-stop drag racing, loud stereos and yelling till 3AM. At first I thought the window was open because it felt so close, like it was 10 feet away. Turns out there's just really poor noiseproofing. They do provide ear plugs but they didn't help. When i complained about it, (everything by text, BTW) they said they had never heard that complaint. The first lie of a series of other crazy lies. At checkout, Rosa said she would talk to the owner and adjust my bill. I thought.... great! Weeks go by and like 20 texts, still no credit. I called and talked to the owner. He assured me I would get the credit. Another week goes by. Finally they said they had issued the credit and sent me some "proof". My name and the words "-$100". What the hell was this? I still had no credit, having checked my credit card daily. Finally, almost a month goes by and I email the owner and say, I never got the credit. He said he didn't have time for this and they would void the credit card "credit" and mail me a check. It's been weeks and still no check. I figure these grifters need the money more than I do so I'll just let this review suffice. Stay at your own risk. Sketchy as hell!

I'm not posting pictures because everyone else has given you all you needed shots of the hotel. The staff has been great. The room, very nice. Here's the warning, if you have a car, don't park on the street unless you go on line and get the overnight pass. The parking police here are sneaky and as soon as that meter runs out they're there. Talk to the valet, he can give you the best options for parking. I'm paying more in parking tickets than what I paid for the car. Even with that, this place is worth stopping in and having a PBR.

No surprise to me, the call did not come, so here is the written review; When we arrived Sunday the 19th, it took the receptionist almost 30 minutes to get us our room. She could not find the room for the couple ahead of us in line. Eventually they stepped aside and allowed us to get our key. She had no idea what she was doing, told us she was new, and no one was around to help her. When we arrived at our room, although we booked a queen, it was a full sized bed. There was a dirty band-aid on the nightstand. Unfortunately since my husband and I were in the service industry for over a decade combined, we often give people the benefit of the doubt and ample opportunities to make things right. The TV was very small and only cable, which often cut to "no service" before reviving itself. The water pressure in the shower was abysmal. My husband bought the Brewhouse Gameday Package because it was our honeymoon. Again, the blonde girl at the front desk had no idea what was happening, no idea what the listing for the package was on the website, and no information. She directed us to the employees of On Tap, who stated "well this just looks like a screenshot from our website" ...which it was. We paid for the package, the receptionist knew nothing of it, and the staff at On Tap knew nothing about why the receptionist knew nothing. Over and over, excuses were made because "she's really new here". We were eventually given our 2 free drinks and our $40 comp for the restaurant, probably just because we wouldn't let it go. Come the end of the Brewers game, we wait where we were directed to. No shuttle comes. My husband calls the hotel, and they say they just made their last run and will not be coming back for us. Again, the brand new, know-nothing receptionist. We were specifically told by the shuttle driver that he would make runs for up to an hour after the game, or until everyone was collected. We took the shuttle there; he knew we were supposed to be on the one back to the hotel as well. Overall, it is pretty gross business to advertise so falsely and to do nothing to rectify unacceptable failures when your guests repeatedly come to you with needs. Had this been a $150 hotel, I wouldn't be writing this. I would chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" but to pay $1000 for 2 nights + the Gameday Package that let us down in almost every direction? I am honestly shocked. The morning of our check-out, we explained to a more veteraned pair of receptionists everything that had disappointed us and let us down during our stay. We were told the hotel manager was on a call; they took down my husband's name and phone number and said he would be called in a couple of days, and apologized. Finally, someone seemed to at least pretend to care. Anyway, to the hotel manager, Christopher - seriously? What could possibly be the excuse? Train your staff. At least a little. Is this just so commonplace at the Brewhouse Inn you just don't bother calling to make things right? Our friends and family will know each and every detail of our frustrating, lame stay at the Brewhouse Inn, I can tell you that much. I hope business for the rest of the season is what you deserve it to be.
