Easy check in room was clean places nearby to eat. No shuttle to the airport, outside of that good visit. I don't know the price of the room because the airline covered that. Overall I would recommend. Also there is free breakfast

Pretty dusty around the bed which made me nervous the sheets had not been cleaned. :(

We were traveling for the holidays and specifically booked a hotel with a "business center" because my husband has to work remotely. In the morning we discovered the "business center" is a single computer in the lobby. It was very frustrating and impeded his ability to work. The person at the desk when we checked in seemed really out of it and was not very friendly. We asked if they could accommodate a room with 2 queen beds and she just didn't even respond and gave us a room with 1 king. The room was not very clean. There was literally a layer of dust over some of the surfaces, and there was some garbage (a candy wrapper and string?) left behind in the pull out couch. However- the morning staff were very friendly, and the common area clean with a satisfactory breakfast. I think it's probably a good pick if you just need somewhere quiet to sleep especially if you have animals as the hotel seems to be pet friendly. But we won't stay here again!

Avoid avoid avoid. Place is literally crawling with bugs. We had lady bugs and spiders all over the ceiling in the first room they gave us, guess what lady bugs eat? OTHER BUGS. We said hell no, they tried a second room, this one had some weird mold cocoon thing happening ON THE BED! Just see the pics... they speak a thousand words. I'm a lifetime gold member and have never seen anything like this in any of my 450 stays all over the country. I'm just freaked out. Go to Fairfield inn please.

This Residence Inn is a very nice-looking property. There's a basketball court, outdoor firepit with comfortable seating, a large indoor pool and spa. The lobby is also very cozy and large. Our room was very spacious, as well. The reason I gave 3 stars, rather than 4 or 5 is due to the attention to detail on a few items. In the spa/jacuzzi, there was sand all over the bottom. That wasn't all that important, though. In our room, the mirror was cracked, but the larger issue was the massive leak in the bathroom. It appears that the air conditioning is leaking through to the bathroom floor. I didn't want to move rooms after driving 12 hours, so I made due with just keeping the windows open. I just can't believe that no one complained about the soaked floor. I really think that if the maintenance issues were resolved, this would be a terrific place to stay.

Usually stay with my sister over Thanksgiving, but she's having major renovation work done on her home, so I spent four days here. The suite is very large and comfortable, as you can see from the photos others have posted. Separate areas for sleeping, cooking and watching TV. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping the suite clean. Lots of fresh towels every day. The Internet was painfully slow when I arrived, but one call to the front desk resolved the problem in a few minutes. They have DirecTV and HBO, so there was always something free to watch. Started each day with a complimentary American breakfast. Eggs, sausages, waffles, homemade biscuits, cereal... something for everyone. Almost all families over the holiday weekend, so lots of noise, but I'm not complaining because I expected it. Most of the kids hung out in the pool area, which was large and looked well maintained. This should have been a five star review, but I'm taking off a star because of their pet policy and paper thin walls. I'm used to hotels that cater to business travelers, and I've never stayed in a hotel that caters primarily to people traveling with multiple pets. Guests are allowed two dogs, no size restriction. Anyone who's travelled with animals knows it can be stressful for them. So it's no surprise that they often bark non-stop when left alone. Which the dogs in the room next to me and the room above me did the entire long weekend. So unless you like to drift off to the sound of barking dogs... or wake up at 6:00 to the same sound (as I did every morning)... I suggest you choose another hotel. (It did no good complaining to the front desk, as Marriott "encourages" guests to bring their pets along.) Also, the rooms are supposed to be cleaned thoroughly after an animal stay. Mine wasn't. My bed smelled like a dog had slept in it. So I ended up on the couch the first night. After I complained the next morning, the bed was "sanitized" and the smell was gone.

Damp, used washcloths in the shower!

I travel 2-3 weeks a month for work and have status at both the Hilton and Marriott chains. I checked in online so all I needed to do was stop by the front desk to pick up my key when I arrived. I noticed a half full water bottle on the table when I walked in. I figured it must have been someone in housekeeping that just accidentally left it behind so I thought nothing of it and just threw it in the trash. About 11:30 pm I was getting ready to grab my pj's to take a shower before bed and a couple comes walking into my room with their luggage in tow!!!!! They were apparently given a key to the room I was assigned earlier. They apologized and returned to the front desk to get things sorted out. Before the shock had worn off that someone just opened the door the the room I was staying in I receive a call from the front desk asking who I was. I gave them my name and the room number I was assigned. I advised that the room I was given also had the room number written on the sleeve the key was put in. The associate then told me I was in the wrong room. NO I AM NOT!!!! I AM IN THE ROOM I WAS ASSIGNED AND GIVEN A KEY FOR!!!! I was then told not to worry. It would be taken care of. After gathering my composure, it was starting to get late. I had a client meeting very early in the morning and needed to get a shower before bed. I walk into the bathroom and find used washcloths and soap in the corner shelf of the shower! This time I personally go down to the front desk to make sure I wasn't given a room currently being occupied by someone else. I was told no, there was just a name mix up for two separate parties checking in on the same date. I showed them the pic I took of the shower and at this point I'm not even sure my room was even cleaned at all or if the bed was just made up with the sheets still on it from the previous person who stayed here. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER STAY HERE and I will certainly tell my company's travel agency to strike this one from their approved hotel list!

    My kick ass room

My stay there was great. The rooms were spacious and the service was great. Full kitchen, comfy bed, great tv. Free breakfast which for my cheap ass is a plus. The only thing I didn't like was the way the hotel was built. It's a freaking maze getting around there. Other than great stay!

We basically stopped for a pit stop and to stretch our legs (and soak in the hot tub while the kiddos swimmed). Location - Great spot close to the river. There are a couple restaurants and shops close by and within walking distance and you are also very close to the Vibrant Arena and Rock Island. Rooms & Building - My family enjoys Stoney Creek for their upnorth theming and feel. The rooms are always done up nice and are usually pretty large in size. This place did not disappoint. The room came with a fridge, microwave, and a small little bar area. Lots of space to spread out and eat pizza in our room for dinner. Amenities - The pool area is always fun at Stoney Creek. This location had a indoor/outdoor connected pool and the hot tub was large and could fit plenty of people. It was exactly what we wanted in our stay. Food - There is a bar onsite but we made our own drinks and ate pizza. The breakfast buffet was good and offered a lot of cold and hot options. Vibe - Easy going and super friendly staff. No complaints. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - As stated before, if there is a Stoney Creek in the town we are staying at, we probably will stay there. For the price vs. quality & experience, you can't find much better. We would stay again!

We had guests running up and down yelling at 4:00 AM and staff did nothing about it. We were in town for a VB event, had 9 families staying and made us pay $100 to use an empty room for two hours so we could order pizza and eat as a team. There is absolutely no reason you should choose this hotel with so many other option within 10 minutes. This place is awful, don't waste your money!

A person would think they would have more available on the property itself. The idea is to keep people at the casino and playing. We go off property for lunch also. I don't know maybe a person needs to bring food along like packing for a picknick? ‍We bought two cups of black coffee at $3.50 each and the coffee was barely warm. Many of themed slots they had for years that we did like to play are gone. We have fewer for choices, that's for sure. At least they have kept some of the older slots which is a plus. We had some problems with our room. Our mattress at home is a newer firm mattress. The mattress here appeared to be a newer one and it wasn't firm....it was outright HARD. Just about like laying on a piece of plywood, well almost. My wife could only sleep on it about 3-4 hours and then slept on the couch. That wasn't much more comfortable. Maybe they got some deal on them when they replaced a number of them at once or something? If that's what happened we don't think it was a very good deal. And this is from people such as us that prefer a firm mattress so, IDK. Some problem with HVAC. If you get the temp about correct for the front room the bedroom is very cold. Confusing thermostat, no selection if it's set for heat or A/C. Just arrows up and down for temp. I've never seen a thermostat like that anywhere that I've ever stayed before, not ever. We tried to call down and get a blanket from housekeeping or the front desk but when you press the buttons on the phone for housekeeping or front desk they are "busied out". They just go to a busy signal and that's it. Bad enough if just staying for one night, but more than one night, not good. Seemed like to us that some taking are of the customer is in need.

Wireless internet connectivity is very quick for being free, so no need to pay for an upgrade. I went for a morning walk around the property before dawn (staying on sidewalks) and everything was safe (mostly well lit). The gym is large, equipment new and clean, towels are provided, and water dispenser works. No one was using the pool but it's there! Finally, I ordered food from the Bistro restaurant in the lobby. It's usually a bad choice, but not here. They put a lot of effort into the drinks AND food. I got the espresso martini (doesn't need the simple syrup, IMHO) and it was the best I've had in a while (people keep adding weird things to these drinks elsewhere or it ends up being coffee milk-- iykyk). The Turkey Avocado BLT (sans bacon for me) and side arugula salad (fresh baby arugula, cucumbers and tomatoes!!) was large and a great value for 12.50. They don't joke about the Texas toast and they aren't skimping with the avocado. The salad was large enough that I got it "to go" and made it my lunch the next day. The grilled chicken sandwich was also delicious and had fresh ingredients. Honestly, I don't have criticism to provide. Best business trip hotel I've stayed in while traveling in the Midwest.
