The food made me nauseous how bad it was.

The hotel was nice but very limited charging areas, the main issue is the food ABSOLUTELY NASTY! I ordered pancakes and I got three thin crapes that looked like paper and tasted nasty them 20 minutes the rest of the food came no one liked it.

The upscale remodeling has turned the property into an oasis in the middle of the Quad Cities offering a safe environment. The rooms are spacious with well designed traditional furnishings. The best feature is the large walk in shower with hot water pressure. It was impressive to see two reserved Diamond member parking spaces in accommodating garage close to the elevator. The only downside was the glitch at the front desk and an elevator issue where the evening staff did not greet the Diamond Member according to brand protocol nor seemed interested in answering questions or trouble shooting issues without being lackadaisical in response. Yet due to the upscale atmosphere it is still one of my choice brands in the immediate area, but staff should be reminded of how to greet Diamond Members.

We chose this Moline hotel because it's in close proximity to the Vibrant Arena where we were going to a concert last weekend. Upon arrival last Saturday afternoon, we learned that the power had been out since the night before. A three block radius was affected, so it was definitely not the hotel's fault. It was just bad luck. There were no digital cards on the Hilton app, nor could they give out actual key cards due to the outage. The staff had to escort all the customers to their rooms. Karen showed us up to our room and even lent us her flashlight. Our king room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. It had a little sitting area and a large bathroom as well. It was such a shame we couldn't enjoy the hotel fully. We had to get dressed right away before the sunset so we could see what we were doing. No hot showers, I couldn't iron my clothes or curl my hair because... well, no electricity. AND no charging my cell phone which was low on battery and had the digital tickets to the concert. Eeek! When we returned from the concert just before 11:00pm, the lights were back on. Yay! Tammy at reception was still helping the guests. There was a huge long line of customers trying to get their key cards to get to their room. The staff did the best that they could. Upon checkout on Sunday morning, Tammy was still there working to make things right. The poor girl probably didn't get a wink of sleep. She told us that we would be getting a partial refund on our room, which has not appeared yet. I called the hotel today and they said they would take care of it. So keeping my fingers crossed. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because of the cleanliness, hospitality and spacious rooms.

With some bad luck on the past hotels we've stayed at recently, I was worried this was another "too good to be true"... Well, let me tell ya if you find yourself needing some accommodations in the quad city area, look no further! Axis Hotel is branded as a boutique hotel when indeed it's apart of the larger Hilton brand. I'll say with some recent stays at various Canopy and Home 2 Suite locations, you can tell there has been a focus on upkeeping and modernizing a lot of their properties which results in a much comfortable stay. This Axis location is no exception to this and from the lobby to the rooms you'll find clean, new, and modern layouts that will have you asking yourself why leave the property? With a dog and baby, we did a larger suite to have more space for everyone. While still in pandemic times, the cost to pay a little bit more was well worth it. I have to say, the room layout was excellent. Enter through living room and a hallway separates the living space from the bedroom with a bathroom in between. Ideal layout for when you need to put the baby down early, yet still want some time to hangout in the living room. Having not only a wall of separation but also a bathroom in between was pretty clutch. Not to mention a small wet bar to make drinks and enjoy a little adult night cap was great. The restaurant in the lobby is excellent. Quite possibly some of the best food offerings in the cute downtown Moline area. For a Friday evening, we were able to catch their happy hour (appetizer food and drinks specials). It seemed to be quite the spot as there were a good amount of walk-ins to enjoy both food and drinks. Lastly, if you're driving to visit. They do have a free parking garage on premises with a covered skywalk. All the doors are access controlled and area felt safe. Nice too there's a separate elevators close to the parking garage making it easy to get in and out in no time. Would definitely stay again, for a weekend getaway from the city or to explore the quad city area. 'Til next time, cheers!

Enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is nicely decorated and clean. Free parking in the pathing garage directly behind hotel and can also park on the street. The street says 2 hr parking but the front desk told us that the 2 hr parking isn't monitored. Nice lobby area with bar. We had the breakfast buffet In the morning which was good. It's a little loud with the train but the hotel is prepared with ear plugs provided at bed side table . It was also a little loud in the hallways but not too bad . Nice fitness room as well.

Didn't take long to find out what these are for...

Can't hate on this place at all. This is one of Hilton's boutique brands of hotel that has all the cool modern features. Folks were very nice on check in. Location wasn't bad, parking was free in the parking garage, hot water was plentiful, and most importantly the fart fan is not wired to the lights! There were some ear plugs on the night stand at check in and at first I was somewhat curious. Well about 1:15am it became apparent what those are for, there are trains VERY nearby and VERY loud. TV channels were slightly better than most Hiltons I've stayed at. If you were to travel here to visit the Quad Cities this would be a reasonably situated and priced place to stay.

We basically stopped for a pit stop and to stretch our legs (and soak in the hot tub while the kiddos swimmed). Location - Great spot close to the river. There are a couple restaurants and shops close by and within walking distance and you are also very close to the Vibrant Arena and Rock Island. Rooms & Building - My family enjoys Stoney Creek for their upnorth theming and feel. The rooms are always done up nice and are usually pretty large in size. This place did not disappoint. The room came with a fridge, microwave, and a small little bar area. Lots of space to spread out and eat pizza in our room for dinner. Amenities - The pool area is always fun at Stoney Creek. This location had a indoor/outdoor connected pool and the hot tub was large and could fit plenty of people. It was exactly what we wanted in our stay. Food - There is a bar onsite but we made our own drinks and ate pizza. The breakfast buffet was good and offered a lot of cold and hot options. Vibe - Easy going and super friendly staff. No complaints. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - As stated before, if there is a Stoney Creek in the town we are staying at, we probably will stay there. For the price vs. quality & experience, you can't find much better. We would stay again!

The complimentary continental breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices each morning. There was also lots of seating, making it easy to enjoy breakfast without feeling crowded. The bed was firm, but still comfortable enough. The pillows were just okay--I think they could use replacing because they didn't provide enough support. The walk-in shower was an interesting design, with only a partial wall and no curtain or shower door. Unfortunately, the floor became very slippery when wet, and I felt like I could easily fall. Adding non-slip strips would make it much safer. There was only one grab bar, and it was on the opposite side of the shower, so I didn't feel very secure. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping service. We requested room service every other day and even spoke with the front desk and called to follow up. Despite that, soap and shampoo were not refilled, toilet paper was not restocked, and the room was neither dusted nor vacuumed. The only consistent service was replacing the towels. When I asked the housekeeper if she had vacuumed the room, she simply replied, "No." We ended up vacuuming the room ourselves. I would have given this hotel a higher rating if the housekeeping had matched the quality of the staff and the rest of the hotel.

A person would think they would have more available on the property itself. The idea is to keep people at the casino and playing. We go off property for lunch also. I don't know maybe a person needs to bring food along like packing for a picknick? ‍We bought two cups of black coffee at $3.50 each and the coffee was barely warm. Many of themed slots they had for years that we did like to play are gone. We have fewer for choices, that's for sure. At least they have kept some of the older slots which is a plus. We had some problems with our room. Our mattress at home is a newer firm mattress. The mattress here appeared to be a newer one and it wasn't firm....it was outright HARD. Just about like laying on a piece of plywood, well almost. My wife could only sleep on it about 3-4 hours and then slept on the couch. That wasn't much more comfortable. Maybe they got some deal on them when they replaced a number of them at once or something? If that's what happened we don't think it was a very good deal. And this is from people such as us that prefer a firm mattress so, IDK. Some problem with HVAC. If you get the temp about correct for the front room the bedroom is very cold. Confusing thermostat, no selection if it's set for heat or A/C. Just arrows up and down for temp. I've never seen a thermostat like that anywhere that I've ever stayed before, not ever. We tried to call down and get a blanket from housekeeping or the front desk but when you press the buttons on the phone for housekeeping or front desk they are "busied out". They just go to a busy signal and that's it. Bad enough if just staying for one night, but more than one night, not good. Seemed like to us that some taking are of the customer is in need.

Walking in all you see is a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. Next to a couch and chair with a tv. But alas! Around the corner was the bedroom with large bathroom. The floor plan is super unique. A co-worker from the area told me that in the early 2000s (2006?) a fire started in a meth lab on the eighth floor. It was that fire that prompted new ownership and a multi million restoration. The entire project took just over two years. And boy did they do a good job. I am very disturbed by the lack of kind communication and I have never experienced this at any other hotel, let alone one that cost $300 a night. Each and every staff member I had the pleasure of interacting with was rude, curt, and did not seem to care that they work in the service industry, perhaps they should get jobs where they don't have to interact with customers . I do have a disability that causes my speech to be slower and sometimes it is hard to understand what I'm saying. But that is no excuse to treat a paying guest with contempt.
