My first chemotherapy is Friday 11/21/25. I'm not gonna have a good Thanksgiving! Today at 4pm I have a full body scan. Tomorrow they put in the port for chemo and Friday is chemo. The doctor must have seen something in my recent bloodwork because he is really rushing me through the system. He said if they didn't give me the appointment for the port for tomorrow his office would call them. I'm always going to recommend NYU Langone as I've never had a problem. I'm going to be out of commission for a while. I'm sorry. Please send vibes that this Chemotherapy works and doesn't make me too sick. I'm down to 85 pounds as of this past Monday!

My spouse went here for an operation and I have to say as far as facilities go, this one is…read moreawesome. It was a little bit of a walk from the train station so if you cannot walk much, you are better off waiting for the bus that drops you off nearby. The building itself is not near many eateries, so you will have to trek around to the neighboring food carts or just bring your own lunch. Eating and drinking is allowed in the waiting area (right when you come inside). The waiting area is clean, the seats are nice and soft ("buttery" as one had described it to me), and outlets located around for charging your devices. Check-in was easy. Provide your name, the name of your guest (or person responsible for picking you up), fill out any other necessary paperwork, and wait to be called. You are given a card with color coded status updates that you can refer to on the screen next to the TV. The only bad thing is that the status screen should be placed elsewhere as it is smaller and gets hidden by the adjacent television. It is also not noticeable from the far corner and you have to get up to look. Outside of that, the status does get update as the patient moves from one stage to another and it is very easy to read. The staff were very friendly and patient, shout-out to Nurse Marie, who was an absolute angel in helping my spouse recover from the anesthesia as well as following up the day after to see how he was doing. :) Considering the past care that he received from the original medical facility, NYU Langone goes above and beyond in patient care and customer service! Anyone who has to have an operation should definitely look into having it at this facility (just make sure your insurance covers it, of course).

Ok, so look, it's delicate right, reviewing the colon cleaners, but I love a good, juicy (maybe…read moredon't use juicy) challenging review. Location for me is everything cuz I'm a creature of convenience, so having this place within walking distance of my work place (where I accumulate so much sh...stuff to begin with) is clutch! The place is CLEAN which can go without saying, but is absolutely the bare minimum of what is needed from a place collecting our most unmentionables (I can't help myself). A very friendly attendant/nurse? helps you to your room, and are standing before the Poop Collector, a massive system that's gonna fill you up so you can empty out (I can't stop laughing). Anyhoo, she explained that I'd be flying this poop mobile solo, which, EVERYONE wants to do...do. She talked through that first push and I was so happy to see her leave the room. For the next 30-45 minutes I experienced what can only be described as a trip through my dietary history, where with every push out I recalled all the horrible things I'd eaten to land me on this throne. Not gonna lie, after you get past the butt plug, water guts, and pool of your own soup that your butt is sitting in, it's a really good feeling. She comes back to explain that you gonna pop off the probe and then release them innards until you feel empty, the rinse off with a hose (that if you aren't careful can wet up the whole room) before baby wiping and getting dressed. I felt so cared for and decided that I would get the 4 pack cuz this gut is my main priority. In other words, clean your butt system here. You (and whoever is holding your sheets down at night) will appreciate it!

Unprofessional and inexperienced…read more I attended an appointment for vestibular therapy this morning. Prior to the appointment Alex at the front desk was informed, more than once, that my biggest symptom from BPPV was vomiting. I had specifically requested an appt with Sneha. There was no appointment confirmation by text or email and nobody was answering the phones on the morning of the appt. When I arrived, I found I had been paired with another therapist. When I queried this I was told by Alex that Sneha had been called to a family emergency. (I was later told she was on vacation. Later still, I was told she was moving house). The therapist I was paired with seemed nervous and inexperienced. He wasn't able to adequately address my concerns and kept repeating questions I'd already answered. I gave a thorough outline of what I was experiencing and the help I had sought prior to my session. I explained I would likely vomit if a maneuver was carried out as part of the treatment and I was reassured that it was ok and that I could just vomit on the floor... During my consultation I had to listen to Alex announcing from the front desk that there was likely to be a smell of burning popcorn as he was making some. It was 11am in the morning and the office is supposed to be a professional space. I felt like I was in someone's living room. There was no clear communication and as a patient I wasn't kept informed of what treatment I could expect. My therapist left the cubicle and the next thing I knew, Alex was trying to start electric magnetic therapy. When I queried this, he said it was going to help. I asked to speak to the therapist again and when he came back I highlighted that my patient experience was far from ideal and I didn't appreciate the lack of communication or the general unprofessionalism. There was more back and forth and I kept being assured that the treatment would help with my dizziness. For the tenth time I explained that dizziness was a minimal symptom for me and the vomiting was by far my biggest issue. Again I was assured this was normal and that they could help. During this time Alex was speaking loudly and at one point when he was back at reception he told the therapist "I'm not helping her. She doesn't know what she wants." Completely immature and unprofessional (not to mention very haphazard with his mask) Fast forward to the therapist trying to do the Canalith Repositioning and me vomiting in the trash can. While I was vomiting, the therapist left the cubicle without saying a word. When he came back he said he'd called Sneha on the phone and she had said I shouldn't be having repositioning therapy and that they couldn't help me. I left frustrated at the complete waste of time for an appointment that I was told would "definitely help". The biggest problem was that nobody was clearly communicating OR listening. The therapist seemed totally unprepared for me vomiting despite having been told *numerous* times that this would likely happen with any movement. I was told to see my primary care doctor and a neurologist or to "go to a specialist clinic". I was also told to get meds. Even though I repeatedly explained that I had already done those things AND this had been communicated on the phone before the appointment took place. Maybe there are other more professional people that work here but after this dire experience I would not recommend wasting time visiting.

In the beginning I hardly lift my arm at all and it's so painful when I moved it a little...but now i can move my left arm and shoulder flexibility and thanks to Preshat. By the way, Preshant's assistant Dan is very nice and also the receptionist Victoria is very sweet and beautiful! If you need any type physical therapy, this is your place to go!!!

When I called, the receptionist was very helpful asking me what type of insurance I had and guided me through the process. Luckily my insurance covered all my medical expenses. For my first appointment I was very nervous because I thought it was going to be very painful. But after they put the needle in, it felt like a little pinch. According to the acupuncturist, the needles targets specific areas in my body, to stimulate nerves and increase blood flow. They recommend me to come twice a week. And after a few treatments my headaches didn't occur as much, and sleeping got much better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to try acupuncture. Everyone here is also super friendly and welcoming.

I went to DASHA for Physical Therapy, and I was disappointed with my experience. While my physical…read moretherapist was a nice and caring person, the therapist did not seem competent. Each of my sessions lasted 30 minutes. The therapist would spend the first 15 minutes of each session rubbing an ointment on my injury. Then the therapist would spend the last 15 minutes on low-impact exercises. I later found out, from other physical therapists, the duration of my sessions and the quality of exercises were grossly insufficient for my recovery. My second gripe about DASHA is that they insisted on performing a sonogram of my injury -- even though I had previously gotten an MRI through my physician. The sonogram was a joke. It printed completely unreadable images that were merely black blobs on graph paper. This made me suspect that they were only performing the sonogram to get money from my insurance company. The only positive thing about my experience was the facility itself, which is nice, new, and clean. While my therapist and some of the other staff were kind, I found the receptionists to be rude and uninterested in helping their customers. Overall, I am unhappy with my experience at DASHA, and I do not recommend them for Physical Therapy.

Booking an appointment was easy and reception was super friendly. Dr. Ha mapped out a clear plan to treat my issues. On procedure day, I was a bit nervous but the assistant was great about easing my nerves. I had a 2nd procedure a week later and while still healing I'm excited that my issues have finally been resolved! My leg was pretty bruised after the 2nd procedure, (as to be expected) but they gave me a cream to help with the discomfort and bruising. I will definitely go back to them for some of my more cosmetic issues in the future!
