Ok, so look, it's delicate right, reviewing the colon cleaners, but I love a good, juicy (maybe don't use juicy) challenging review. Location for me is everything cuz I'm a creature of convenience, so having this place within walking distance of my work place (where I accumulate so much sh...stuff to begin with) is clutch! The place is CLEAN which can go without saying, but is absolutely the bare minimum of what is needed from a place collecting our most unmentionables (I can't help myself). A very friendly attendant/nurse? helps you to your room, and are standing before the Poop Collector, a massive system that's gonna fill you up so you can empty out (I can't stop laughing). Anyhoo, she explained that I'd be flying this poop mobile solo, which, EVERYONE wants to do...do. She talked through that first push and I was so happy to see her leave the room. For the next 30-45 minutes I experienced what can only be described as a trip through my dietary history, where with every push out I recalled all the horrible things I'd eaten to land me on this throne. Not gonna lie, after you get past the butt plug, water guts, and pool of your own soup that your butt is sitting in, it's a really good feeling. She comes back to explain that you gonna pop off the probe and then release them innards until you feel empty, the rinse off with a hose (that if you aren't careful can wet up the whole room) before baby wiping and getting dressed. I felt so cared for and decided that I would get the 4 pack cuz this gut is my main priority. In other words, clean your butt system here. You (and whoever is holding your sheets down at night) will appreciate it! read more

This place saved me. I was in tremendous pain and ER couldn't help me. Lauren, the manager, was so kind and supportive and guided me through a very difficult few weeks. She was patient, never rushed me if I needed a little extra time and helped me with whatever I needed. She went above and beyond to answer and advise in areas beyond the actual treatment in a genuine human way. She always made sure I felt okay and was comfortable with my treatment. This was a very unexpected self-care "treat". Anyone whose had a colonic before knows that it doesn't feel great in the moment, but boy does it feel amazing afterwards. Yes, it's an uncomfortable situation, but this place did an awesome job at calming my nerves. I especially LOVE that the therapist isn't in the room with you during the service. There's a call button if you need them, and they may check in on you, but they are not all in your business the way other colonic places are. Here, you'll get the benefit of privacy. The room I was in was really spacious. You could theoretically bring a friend to hang out with during your service, lol. You also can see what's coming out through a mirror, so that is also a major plus. It's gross, sure, but it's helpful to know and see all the gunk come out! Customer service is immaculate. I've been here a few times and it's like a routine. You go in the room, get undressed, insert tube and press the button. They come within seconds and start the machine. They help you insert as well if need be. They make sure to give you a full run down of dos and donts. They also provide a shower head in the machine to clean yourself with afterwards and they have Netflix! They also have wipes, napkins and a sink in the room. I had a really positive experience at Fluid recently. It was my first ever colonic. The facility is clean and my therapist was super nice and made me comfortable during what is a very vulnerable treatment! Unfortunately, 2 days later, I developed a UTI. My dr thinks that the bacteria flushed out of my colon got too close to other areas down there. I share my experience because 1) in all of my pre-treatment research I never came across this possibility and 2) fluid is an unassisted colonic. The therapist will talk you through how to set up on the water machine and will stay for your first release, but then you are left alone for the remainder of the treatment. I know many other places have a therapist with you the whole time. For a first timer, I wonder if I could have benefitted from more support to ensure I was not putting myself at this type of risk. If colonic is part of your regular wellness plan though, then I do recommend Fluid! read more

First time ever having a colonic and I'm a person with....every digestive symptom issue ever. IBS, diarrhea, constipation, tummy pain, water retention, etc. The woman at the front who took me in was so unbelievably sweet and was not judge mental of any of my issues and helped guide me through the process. I requested she be there for the first few times I released poop and she assured me how I was doing a great job. This place is unbelievably clean. They cover EVERYTHING in plastic and the room is spacious. I loved the privacy and the closed system of the Angel of Water machine. I would recommend this location! I went to the midtown location. I had a great experience- this would be my second colon hydrotherapy but first at this location. The gal that worked with me (so sad I can't remember her name) was beyond polite and walked me through process. The room set the tone for what was about to happen but I felt calm and at ease. I was able to watch some Netflix and feel comfortable during the whole process. I recommend Fluid Water Therapy. I'll definitely be returning for another session. read more

i've never felt so comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. i have a bad case of some autoimmune illnesses that causes a lot of discomfort, bloating and you know it... BACKED THE F UP. upon entering, the sweetest front desk person welcomed me. she went through some forms with me- everything is digital and super easy. this is not covered by insurance, so getting this type of treatment is definitely an investment. she took me back to my room and it was like the cutest set up. equipped with a vanity, mirror, sink and clean up supplies; it really made me feel taken care of. now, onto the show! the process is simple but scary. sticking the tube where now?!?!!! i had a hard time keeping still and relaxed because my tube kept coming out. it caused a lot of discomfort but it was because i kept wiggling and checking on what's going on when i should have leaned back and let it happen. watching the waste come out of me was freaky and cool. i took a video to show my girlfriends who were interested in this treatment. quite frankly, i LOVED THIS. the front desk person checked in on me, educated me and comforted me. i have been to the boujiest spas and not so elegant ones and i cannot stop raving about my incredible experience. they offer clean up wipes and keep everything ultra sanitized and cleaned. i can't wait to make this a regular thing i treat myself to every few weeks. did i feel better? oh... I've been coming here for years, even before FWT came in. The staff here is so incredible, it truly makes the experience. Considering what you're coming here for, it truly feels like you're stepping into a spa. They make you feel really comfortable, no question is out of place or awkward, and the candles smell amazing. I always look fwd to my appts here and will continue coming as long as they're in business. They're busy though, make your appt a few weeks in advance or you definitely won't have first dibs on those after work options. read more

I have been going to Fluid Water Therapy and receiving the vitamin infusion drips for the past year. All I have to say is Wow! I've come in for multiple reasons and recently came in for the immunity drip. I thought I was coming down with a really bad cold. Within 24 hours I was feeling about 99 % better and by Monday two days later I felt totally back to normal. Elle and all the staff at Fluid Therapy are amazing! They make you feel totally at home with their personal touch. Also, the comfy reclining chairs with massagers really make you relaxed and aid in the recovery in my opinion. I am of course a huge fan of Elle but everyone there is incredible. They get you in and out very quickly and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Myself and my intestines and booty are satisfied. I had my service done by Shannon over the weekend and she was very personable and informative. The atmosphere was very clean which was much appreciated considering the theme of the service, and the "poo pillows" on the couch made me crack up. Poo Pillows! I'm not going to go too far into the actual procedure but she made sure to be gentle and made sure that I was comfortable. The machine itself looked like some kind of Star Wars vehicle. There was a moment during the releasing where I felt slightly faint and nauseous but it didn't last too long; then immediately after the release "finale" I felt something spiritual happen. I swear. Like the demons from eating meat, dairy and fried foods were exorcised out of me. I highly recommend everyone on this planet to get a colonic. Seriously, we are all full of sh*t and need to let it out. I felt so much happier afterwards and felt like a fog was lifted from my head and I definitely felt more focused. Seriously, this place is FANTASTIC. I've had a colonic about 4 times in my life and the first two times were because there was no where else to get a colonic so I had to go through the process with the lady massaging my belly the entire time. Awkward and painful since I'm not used to "letting loose" in front of anyone. Anyway moving on. I had one experience in Brooklyn and I felt that the room was extremely cold and empty and felt very "medical". I went to this one based solely on the warm and inviting pictures and it was great. My 1st time have water therapy so I was a little apprehensive. The lovely Kim put me at rest right away and was super helpful and friendly. Once we started the therapy it was a little uncomfortable at 1st and Kim came in and held my hand and even rubbed my tummy (I'm a grown man! hehe) . She mad me feel instantly better and once it was all over game me some helpful advise on my nutrition. This is my second visit to Fluid Water Therapy. One visit in each location. Both great experiences. Just a note to say that today I was tip shamed. The price of the service is already high at $165. The person at the desk check me in upon arrival and said she would only be checking in on me once during the treatment since it wasn't my first time. Not sure that warranted a 20% tip. This is a great place for a colonic. I'm used to a closed system so the gravity system (Angel of Water) was definitely different, but it felt so much better. There is less cramping and it is more discreet. The pricing seems standard for some of the other places that I've checked out around the city but more than my former colonic office (located in a smaller metropolitan city). Overall, digestive health is priceless so I'm willing to pay this. The office was clean and welcoming. Colonics can be a touchy subject but I didn't feel anxious or nervous at this office. Francis is very knowledgeable and I'm super excited to continue my health journey with her help. read more

First I never write reviews but my experience last week compelled me to come on here and do so. I had my first colonic ever. I was so nervous because I had heard horror stories from friends. I did my research though, and Fluid's website was very informative and gave me reassurance that I chose the right place. Let me tell you, I am obsessed! The place is spotless. The therapist was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I left feeling like a new woman in and out. I was expecting to be really grossed out, but the machine they have has a shower where you feel completely clean after. It was an amazing private experience. I had a really positive experience here. This will mark as my colonic cherry pop and I felt amazing afterwards! This will be day 3 and I am still feeling really alert and energized. I usually feel like shit and groggy in the morning while snoozing atleast 2 times. Not being a morning person at all, I woke up feeling quite perky and focused the next day. Not to mention that I slept beautifully that night..Fearing the plugging in part/some stranger watching you poop (not the case at all, you have your own privacy and call button if you need help.), which is why Ive hesitated to get one for a while but you have the option of doing it yourself or if you cannot/feel comfortable they will gladly assist you. I definitely would not recommend this place!!! Although the staff is very friendly and the place is very clean... I had never had a colonic treatment and decided to go to them to try it. The experience was horrible!!! I had cramps for hours after the treatment and throughout the next day. I called them to inform them that the colonic treatment hurt me something awful and told them that although I brought four colonic treatments that I do not want to ever do it again. The staff member told me that they could not refund my money. I asked them if I could give my treatments to a family member and a staff member told me that I could not. I asked them if I could substitute it for IV treatments and they told me that I could not!! I was willing to take the loss of 300.00 dollars when one day I noticed that an appointment for fluid therapy was made and was sent to my email address. I realized then that what fluid therapy and or their workers were doing was making it look as if I was setting appointments. I wasn't sure why? Until I saw the receipt that states, if you make an appointment and do not keep the appointment you will be charged the full cost!!!! (see letter below) I found this to be an under- handed approach to what I thought was an ethical business. This company refuses to give me back my 300.00, they have refuse to allow a family member to have my three colonics and they have refused to substitute my colonic treatments for IV treatments!!! I am in school obtaining my P.H.D. in Public Administration, which means that I do not have money to waste or throw away. I am not sure why staff will not work with me to resolve this issue and there is no direct number to Dr. Gonzales who should be addressing this situation since this is her business!!! I am working with my credit card company however; fluid therapy refuses to allow the credit company to reimburse me. You would think that a million dollar company would help their customers as oppose to making their lives a living hell! My first colonic ever and I was scared to death and not looking forward to it. I must say, the time with the doctor ahead of the procedure going over my history and talking about options, other healers, etc was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgable. The medical device they use seems much more natural, comfortable and PRIVATE than some of the other colonic procedures I researched. You can be alone or have them attending. You're in charge the whole time which is what I needed to feel comfortable and even when the doctor was there she was great and very sensitive. read more

I don't really write reviews for any companies, restaurants, salons, or doctors, however I just began going to Fluid Water Therapy for colonics and from the first 2 sessions I've noticed such a difference. I feel clean and less bloated. It is painless and comfortable. I am able to watch tv during the session. The best part about it is I am able to do it first thing in the morning and go on with my day normally. For most cleanses, you must detox and drink gross drinks prior to your session and feel the need to be near a bathroom all day afterwards, where at Fluid Water Therapy they have great new technology so that you don't have to detox prior or need to be near a bathroom after.
