Futurehealth sets a new standard for gym and fitness centers. First, each gym session that you book online lasts just 20 minutes - targeting key areas such as legs , back and arms in each session. As you progress through stages over the course of weeks/ months, you do different exercises, and each time you progress I guarantee your muscles feel it again. Now who doesn't have 20mins to spare? Second, the trainers - Adrian, Maggie, Autumn, are fantastic. No where else will EVERY single trainer greet you by name, check in while you are training to correct your form and provide other exercises to help you reach your goals. Third, this isn't just a gym. This place is for your overall fitness. They regularly conduct talks on nutrition and measure your weight/ body fat to ensure you are getting results. I even lost inches on my calves! If you read my previous post you'll see that I believe that Future Health is a life changing program. I just wanted to update my stats after ten months of working this system. My percentage of body fat went from 28 to 14%. I lost 22.3 pounds of fat. My visceral fat level dropped from 10 to 4 and I gained 12 pounds of muscle. Started going to Future Health in October 2017. After a bunch of starts and stops on eating better and getting in shape over the past decade, I think I have finally turned the corner thanks to Future Health. At $299/mo (on a 3 month signup - they do offer discounts for longer terms), I think the value is really good for the 15-20 semi-private training sessions I attend per month + nutrition consultations. The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to invest time/money on your health. Premium location/view (57th Floor of US Bank Tower) and the equipment and locker rooms are really nice. Easy to reserve workout times via the Web or App. I also like the card color system and moving up to the next level (kinda like earning a Karate belt). I train with Adrian and Maggie and they both bring a ton of knowledge and energy to the gym, which I appreciate. Workouts can be done in 20-25 minutes, but with stretching, rolling out muscles, and floor exercises (all good ideas), I'm usually there about 40 minutes total. read more

What a great experience. I've been going to Educogym since the end of July and have seen (and feel) results already. The trainers are meticulous with initial measurements, diet discussion, and form on the equipment. It's very motivating to know that each time you go, they are waiting for you and help you through the workout - they keep you focused on breathing and proper form, which I've come to realize is very important. You are in and out of the gym in less than 30 minutes, sweating and panting. This is much preferred than going to some faceless place, waiting in line (thus loosing momentum), and seeing the hours go by. Being efficient with the workout is really important and Wayne and the others have helped with my equipment confidence and concentration. No clue why so many Eduocgym reviews are filtered. Feels like someone is hating. I've been going here for 6 weeks now. Dropped from 170 to 158 pounds and gained a lot of definition in my upper body. You're basically paying for a nutritionist, body consultation (they'll periodically take your measurements, calculate your BF%, etc), a personal trainer, and efficient workouts using their equipment. To slim you down, they use a low glycemic diet with the intention of stabilizing your insulin levels and putting you in ketosis. If you don't know what ketosis is, there's plenty of info on the net. Just don't confuse it with ketoacidosis like a lot of misinformed people tend to do. If you have different goals, they also have other diets such as carb maintenance diets, bulking diets, and specialized diets intended to help you break through plateaus. Their trainers are knowledgeable and practice what they preach. A few of them have their before/after pictures on the wall. A lot of times I'll stroll in and see them working out on the same machines They're all very personable and educate you as you go - everything from the best way to cook your food to ideal body proportions (IE biceps to forearm ratio), they'll share with you. The equipment is a weight machine that can work out any body part. You basically do metabolic resistance training on it. The training only takes 20 minutes but you end up doing 3-4 sets of 5-7 different exercises with each set geared toward muscle failure. Meaning if you're doing it right, you'll hit muscle failure around 20 times in 20 minutes. This is efficient and something that would take you about an hour to do at a regular gym, where you spend half the time waiting for people to get off machines you want to use, while they sit on them doing nothing with a glazed look on their face. They also offer a periodic 6 week education course where they teach you a ton of things about nutrition/exercise - stuff like non-CAFO foodsourcing, common myths (IE saturated fat is bad for you), how to get into a state of flow when you're working out, metabolic pathways, exercise intensity, etc. A lot of valuable info here. Only con is it's expensive. The way I see it though, is you're paying to take the guesswork out of getting in shape. If you do what they say with both the diet and the workout, you should get results. My coworker had to armtwist me to get me to sign up but in retrospect this is probably one of the best investments I've made all year. Finally, when I was debating whether to sign up and researching, I found some stuff on the net about Educogym forcing their customers to buy overpriced supplements. Fantastic and one-of-a-kind gym near my office in downtown LA. I was skeptical of the 20 minute workout and their 'time machine" contraption; however, I'm a believer. After two months, my wife has noticed a significant difference, and I feel a lot better. It is an intense 20 minutes with very few pauses. Each workout is monitored by a trainer, and at this stage in my life, I need all the motivation I can get. They also periodically take body measurements, and emphasize nutrition to make sure you're on track. The locker room is clean and well stocked. The view on the 57th floor is spectacular, and a great backdrop for a workout. They are now offering a complementary yoga class on Monday morning that I highly recommend, and this is coming from someone who has not been a fan of yoga. In summary, the reasons the gym has worked for me are 1) appointment based with a trainer so that I stay on track; 2) progress is measured; 3) workouts are intense; 4) meticulous attention given by the trainers; and 5) first class facilities. read more

I started out by writing a review, but realized this was much more than that. It is the story of a complete transformation that I never thought was possible, and something I discovered completely by happenstance. The short version is that I have been here for 4+ months and have lost 15.9 lbs of fat and gained 3.6 lbs of muscle. Pictures are attached (and taken right in the locker room). I want to show you my results, which are real and substantial. I discovered Future Health last September at a time when my health had steadily deteriorated to the point where I regularly contemplated my mortality. I was obese and unattractive, had persistent snoring, had blood sugar swings that made me hungry every 3 hours, and generated lots of gas. I thought this was all part of aging. I couldn't enjoy a lot of the things I used to do well, such as surfing, snowboarding, and hiking. I had fatty liver and elevated LFTs. I was sick for weeks every winter and spring and had allergy symptoms that lasted months that resulted in weeks off work every year. In the beginning, I was really skeptical. The workouts seemed like they made sense since I used to have a personal trainer. But I didn't really expect the changes I'd have to make in my diet. As they will tell you, many things in the modern diet are slowly killing us. I figured that I would jump into the new regime anyway and if it didn't work I'd just be out $900 (for a 3-month membership) and would get my revenge by writing a nasty Yelp review. The first week or so was pretty hard. It was nice not having to count calories, but I craved my carbs. If you told me I couldn't eat rice, I would've laughed my ass off (after properly addressing all your blood relatives), but I had to learn to give that up. Fortunately, bacon and eggs for breakfast every morning was by no means onerous, and in a month or so I switched to "bulletproof coffee" which basically kept me going until past 3 pm daily. I would then snack on some unsalted nuts and be ready for a regular dinner of meats and veggies. Dessert was fruit mixed with heavy cream, or even full-fat ice cream once in a while. The changes were subtle at first but became harder to ignore. Future Health does nutritional consults where you get your body fat and muscle mass measured as well as a discussion on what foods to eat and what to avoid. They also take a picture of you at every consult. In just two weeks, I had noticeably lost fat. One month in, I had bloodwork done as a sanity check, fully expecting my numbers to be through the roof, and even my doctor was shocked to find that my liver readings, blood sugar, and cholesterol had all returned to the normal range. The pounds started to melt off and I proceeded happily with the program. My experience isn't problem-free. My clothes would no longer fit and I had to update my wardrobe. I caught either 2 or 3 colds this winter (an average number compared to past years) but instead of sniffling and snorting for 4 weeks at a time, I had a headache for 8 hours and basically slept them off. This meant I couldn't get as many days off work. On a recent trip, my friends commented that they could barely hear me snore. Women who had strictly been online friends suddenly wanted to hang out which required an increase in my entertainment budget. I no longer get food comas and pass my days with more energy; I no longer have enough gas to impress overgrown kids; I have to clean more linens because there are more overnight guests. Just a note on the gym and training itself: Each trainer has a slightly different style. You should work with everyone to find what works for you. You get a card that lists your exercises and weight, to which you record your progress. The locker room and showers are fabulous. Expect free towel service and an access-controlled floor. The clients are all high-end so nobody will steal your stuff when you leave it in the locker room. This ain't 24-Hour Fitness. Many reviews here lament the cost of the gym. I'd like to rephrase the cost question in a few different ways. First, you are not buying a gym membership in the traditional sense. You are buying a program to improve your health on all levels as I had discussed. Instead of asking how much a gym is worth to you, ask how much your health is worth to you. Think of how much money you spend on mattresses to sleep better, caffeine to keep going, and OTC medications to get through sick days. EDUCO comes from "educate" and everyone involved with educo really tries to help you understand as much or as little as you want. They have free nutrition consulting, as many times as you want (includes fat caliper analysis, diet consutation, body measurements, body fat percentages). They explain how each exercise isolates a certain muscle group, and the effect of growth hormone and all that. I pay so-so attention to all the info, but I'm glad it's there for my disposal. What gets me are the 20 minute work outs. i mean WHO DOESNT HAVE 20 MINUTES?!! And since I work in the US Bank Tower too, I can go from desk to work out to shower and back to my computer in 40 minutes. that is RIDICULOUS, and it kills all excuses i have. Work outs are high reps, high intensity weight training, with few pauses. You have a semi-personal trainer each time. Small groups, but you can definitely get the attention of a personal trainer. EACH SESSION. that just rocks. That's how you get in and done in 20 mins. It's amazing for a working girl's schedule. And the trainers definitely know what they are doing! Alex and Adrian (afternoon crew) constantly are correcting my form, showing me new and better ways to keep working my muscles better. All in all, i was skeptical cuz it was jsut weights 3x a week and it was SO EXPENSIVE, but one month in i've lost 8 lbs. Joined the gym for 9 months and couldn't be happier. Justin and Adrian are great motivators who really push you to succeed. The early educational courses build the foundation for eating right and exercising effectively. I leaned up within 60 days and gained noticeable muscle. Family and friends immediately noticed! This is not a typical gym where you sign up and then left alone to figure out what to do. You work with the trainers at each workout session who help you set goals and design the best workout routine necessary to achieve those goals. What I liked best about the gym was the exclusive atmosphere with no overcrowding. Sessions are arranged where there are no more than 4-5 attendees per hour. If you stick with the plans, you will see results. What others have said is true, the workouts are roughly 20 minutes a day. They go fast and in that 20 minutes, it's all focused business. For me (coming off a knee injury), the workouts were tailored to not put a ton of pressure on my injured area, but rather help strengthen the area. A few months back I went though a major health issue and gained about 40lbs. I was devastated, having this being the highest weight I had ever been in my life. I decided to listen to my co-worker and take Educogym up on a free trial offer they like to do with a lot of the local businesses around Bunker Hill. During my trial, my "personal trainer" was training both me and someone else. My back started to hurt, and he just shrugged it off. The pain just didn't feel right to me, and if I'm going to consider paying all this money for a "personal trainer" experience then I should get personal attention, especially when I say something doesn't feel right. One of my co-workers was out due to back problem for atleast 2 weeks and she was a big promoter for this gym. I almost wonder if it was because of this place.... A lot of my co-workers still go to this place and they have seen great results. I am not saying that this place doesn't work, but this place just isn't for me. I joined 24 Hour fitness, during s $40 a month special. I get great equipment, fun classes, a pool, steam room, a sauna and I can work out whenever I want. I'm addicted! I have a great time, and I sometimes even go more then 3 times a week, just because its fun for me and never gets boring since there are so many different ways to work out, and incorporate it into having fun. I've lost somewhere around 15 lbs, and am continuing to lose weight. I try to keep my sugar intake low, but I don't kill myself over the occasional pasta dish or snack. This just feels more natural to me, and healthier. It also feels like something that I can actually commit to in the long term. All that because I can pay $40 a month and find it in myself to want to lose the weight enough. If you would like to spend even less money, I would even go as far to say that you could buy turbo jam. Work out every other day, stick to a low sugar diet and you would be fine as well. I still think the $40 for everything I get is a better deal then the $200 a month spent in this place. Its all about pushing yourself. Like I said though if you have the money, and need some hand holding, Educogym has their doors wide open. I hate exercising. The thought of it makes me want to crawl in bed and take a nap. After several failed attempts at working out on my own, I stumbled upon Educo/Future Health. Whoa. My terrible habit of sitting on the machines watching everyone else work out was nipped in the bud. Their tough training style, tempered by hilarious smartassery, helped me get serious results. I haven't worked out since 2005, needless to say things were not good. I wasn't noticeably overweight but I had started to see a mass of fat building on my mid section and it was definitely a wake-up call. I don't like feeling like I want to die and I don't like being pushed to the point where I feel like I might hurt myself. Results are a big deal for me. For 4 years I did 5 hours a week of physical exercise in classes with little noticeable results. At first I wondered if the 'before" and "afters" that I saw where just people who had muscle and just dropped a bunch of fat to reveal it. Not the case with me, for the first time in my life I have chest muscles and arms! This is just the start. I can't even imagine what 2 months is going to look like. The level of comfort and support I feel with the trainers is incredible. It's really important to me that I feel supported so I can push myself. Also you get trainers! Its not one-on-one, but there are at least 2 trainers there at all times and I don't think they handle more than 4 or 5 people at a time. I could be wrong but I always get one-on-one attention. BIGGEST THING: 20 min. individualized work outs! I was working out 5 hours a week in 2005 and not feeling much of anything but pain. I work out an hour and 40 min. a week now and I have more energy, focus and I'm developing a body I wasn't sure I could ever really have. I do want to make one small note on price. It's not just a good deal it's super cheap for the attention and results you get. I'm sorry, but I have friends that spend more. What a great place to get fit. There is no other place that I would rather work out. The trainers are professional, both nutrition and exercise is emphasized and they inspire you to be your personal best. I have lost over 55 lbs, 10 inches from my waist and tummy line and feel great. By far this was the best use of my time and money. They promised a complete body transformation and that's just what I got - over 75 pounds lost in a year, over 10 inches off my waist and at least a decade added back to my life. Thurston and his talented team of trainers never disappoint. I enjoyed training with the full staff, but Adrian gets honorable mention for dealing with one difficult client. Each team member brings personal dedication to the training floor which pays out huge dividends in terms of results. I have one of those hectic downtown work schedules that's always in turbo drive, but I never had a problem finding the 20 minutes for my daily workouts due to the convenient booking system, short workout times, central location and extended hours. It's been six months since I left Future Health and I continue to follow the workout techniques. However, returning to my old gym was a rough transition watching people waste their time with ineffective workouts. Not sure if it's the heavy weights, the sexy lean muscles or the intensity level, but I continue to get stares from all the regulars flopped out on the gym equipment almost every time I go. Now there's never been a point before in my life that I would describe myself as athletic to any degree. After passing on the 2012 stair climb, I grudgingly enrolled for 2013 AND LOVED IT! That's around the time I decided these muscles weren't just for show, so I paid up and began training for the LA marathon around Thanksgiving. When I hit 15 miles in training I had to mentally adjust and stop saying "I'm not a runner." Well I was on track to finish in 5.5 hours all the way to mile 15, but I went in with an injury and was not surprised when my knee exploded. I guess finishing an hour later than my target time wasn't so bad. But as another big surprise - I really enjoyed running the marathon so I'm already calling my time for under 5 hours in 2015. So Future Health did one sensational job getting me to connect with my inner athlete. What they've done for my internal health is just as sensational. I actually trained for the marathon and ran the race completely on a low glycemic diet. I never had any energy spikes, never got winded and didn't even notice the heat on race day - just a constant and steady flow of energy. At this point my body actually rejects sugar like a poison - I learned this when I decided to have a little fun after the marathon in the week leading up to my birthday. It was not fun and I didn't even bother to finish my slice of cake. I'm paying more at the grocery store but I'm definitely worth it. I love to cook and I eat out regularly and I never sacrifice flavor - if anything, I enjoy foods more because all the flavor hasn't been processed to death or drowned in sugar. When your body looks and works better than it has for close to a decade you get a lot of requests for diet and workout tips. Well I've provided the advice, made the referrals and decided people must like to be unhappy. What other explanation can there be for not getting on board with a program that has proven outcomes to the extreme. Well it has been three years and I'm still at Educogym and still loving it. But I have to say my reasons for loving it have changed. I know the workout drill now. I could do it as well at a regular gym. (Well, almost as well - Adrian does have an inspirational glare.) What I get most now out of Educogym is great health and nutritional information. At this point if I have a health issue I am more likely to discuss it with one of the trainers than with my doctor. I started going to this gym in mid January of 2011. By July of 2011 I had lost 20 pounds, 81/2% body fat and 3-1/2 inches from my waist. Yes....20 minute work outs really DO work. They are high intensity weight training session so you get your cardio in while building muscle. It is important that you follow the personalized nutrition guidelines that the trainers develop for you. They sell supplements and protein powder but have never "pushed" me to buy them. I never thought I'd be this healthy and in this great of shape again. I'd definately say you get the bang for your buck with this gym. read more

In 1 month you start to see the result. In 2 months, I found my clothe size down from 4 to 0....for working out 20 minutes a day. Yes, it comes with high price tag, and I was skeptical at first. So I made an appointment to pay them a visit...still undecided if I am ready to spend $$$. I talked to Adrian and Justin, tried the workout, and finally decided to give Educogym a try. I was looking for the fastest way of losing my fat, with smallest amount of workout. Educogym fitted my need. My original intention was to do it for 3 month (till my family member's wedding) and quit. 3 month had passed, I ended up signing up for 12 months and never regretted my decision! People have different needs and different way of balancing costs and benefits, so I can't say this is for everyone. People who are highly motivated, willing to spend hours in the gym with excitement can probably do without Educogym (at least for an excersizing part). But if you are like me...looking for the most effective way of exercising (with least amount of time), you should give Educogym a try. I am not a kind of person who enjoy exercising (or sweating or working out or stay at the gym), but 6 months have passed and I still enjoy Educogym. 1. It only takes 20 min. a day to get a workout equivalent to 2-3 hours at the gym 2. You will get full attention & support from your trainers all the time 3. Nutritional information they can give you is simply amazing and useful (and eye-opening) 4. Everyone's nice. Both thrainers and members! The best gym ever. I originally found them through Yelp, and boy am I glad I did. But the word "gym" isn't really accurate, because they're also lifestyle advisors and motivators. My experience started with full body measurements and a very detailed assessment of my lifestyle, eating habits, and so on. Then, they get you working. The workouts are short, yet intense and effective, which is perfect for my busy workday - I simply wouldn't have the time to spend 1.5 hours at a gym every day. Rather, I can be in-out in about 30 min, and feel great for the rest of the day. They will then reassess you every few weeks and so that you can objectively track your progress, while being held accountable for it. Over the months, I felt my energy increase, more strength, more muscle mass, more confidence, and less fat. Overall, great success. The trainers, who help direct every single workout, are all fantastic as well. The location is also gorgeous, clean, and private (you have to make an appointment to work out, which helps with (1) following up on your personal commitment, and (2) ensuring that the gym is never crowded. If anyone would have told me I would love going to the gym 5 days a week, I would have called them a freak of nature. However after being a member since Oct 2014, I can honestly say that I love going to this gym 5 days a week. Every workout is like a personal training session. I love it!! I've been a member for over 6 months and have had great results. I've lost fat, gained muscle, gained strength and reshaped my posture. I've changed 7% body fat and still going towards my goal. I've adopted much healthier eating - it's given me MUCH more energy, and I've never hungry. They've customized my workout and edited it several times as I've progressed. Educogym is fantastic!!! I've seen amazing results from putting on a bunch of muscle to losing a lot of fat. The key to their success is the personal training. You book your workouts with the trainer. Not only do you have a trainer keeping you on track and doing the right form you also are more motivated to go to the gym. The facilities are great. The locker rooms are clean and always stocked with towels and products. The view is amazing up on the 57th floor. The staff is very friendly and incredibly informed on nutrition and exercise. I would recommend this gym to anyone hands down. It's crazy to think that just 20 minutes a day can produce such great results! read more

I honestly planned on only going for a month but now am on my fifth month. Over 40 and used to make up every excuse not to work out. Joining Educogym has been a great decision. The trainers are awesome (all of them) as they keep you motivated and apply enough pressure to get you through a great workout. Only 20 - 25 minutes a day and you can see the results almost immediately. I lost 6 pounds in the first 3 weeks (going 3 times a week on average) and now I am down 12 pounds and have definition which (believe me) I have never had. I would recommend you give it a try - you literally can jam in an out of there with a shower in 40 minutes and get back to your desk. With my fortieth brthday looming nearer, I decided to join this gym in December '09. In the 5.5 months since I started, I've dropped about 28 pounds net, gone down two pant sizes, and am starting to see, feel and use muscles I didn't know I had. The program includes both a nutrition plan component and a workout component, and, put together, they have really made a difference in my life. Energy levels are good; my mood is great and I actually look forward to working out. The training staff are professional and knowledgeable, and they challenge me constantly to push myself and get better. No boring routine here. Even through the holidays, my birthday, and regular entertaining of clients (at least once or twice a week), I've been able to maintain my results and stick with the nutrition plan (mostly). 1. I personally dislike other gyms, especially those that are always packed and filled with the smell of testosterone. Future health is a clean place with limited space, which allows every member to focus on working their musicale areas without having to wait for their turn or wipe the sweat off machines. Not only is future health super clean, don't forget about the view! Located on the 57 floor of the US bank tower, you get a great view of downtown. How great is it to work out and be on top of the world at the same time? Pretty awesome. 2. Customized just for you. I'm really conscious about working out correctly, that is making sure that my position is correct and that I am really working on targeting certain muscle areas. Future health does so by always overseeing you and making sure that your posture and position is correct. Thanks Rachel and Adrian!! :D 3. Mind over body. Sometimes, you just really need someone there to push you. Rachel and Adrian has been so helpful with helping me get thru my workout. Persist and endure the pain! When there's support, you succeed faster! 4. Regular consultations. I love this part of what future health can offer. Sure, working out and looking in the mirror to see results can be exciting, but for me, allowing these consultations to show my results is a feeling that's even better. I lost a good amount of weight and body fat percentage in only two months (varies differently for others). The numbers don't lie, people. 5. Future health cares not only about working out, but living a healthier lifestyle in general. Future health does so by guiding members through diet plans and habits. For instance, everyone varied on diet, depending on what needs to be worked on and what the person usually like to eat. They also measure your mood and keep tabs on your habits. How cool is that!! I feel like I'm being taken care of. 6. Each workout session is 20 minutes. I am busy most of the time and always rushing to get from one place to another. I can still devote 20 min to working out.
