Everyone, Please meet Lucky. Our German Shepherd we rescued last year. Lucky is my soulmate furbaby. He's also very quiet, shy, lovable....the list goes on and on. I searched high and low to find the best furbaby sitter when we were out of town. I decided on Boat Club Pet Resort for many reasons: Very clean and staff very attentive to us humans and especially our fur babies. Price! They're a heck of a lot cheaper than pet sitter that enters your home....when you're not there that always made me nervous. Location, Location,Location! Easy access from all parts of Fort Worth area. Daily I would receive Report Card on Lucky, with all info on his day, mood,eating,etc. they took pictures of him too! Side Note: we were so anxious about leaving our love bucket, we had a death in our family and a week later our daughter was getting married.....our stress level was to the max .... however, not once did I worry or wonder how Lucky was getting along with the staff or other dogs. I kid you not, The resort became our extended family! If you want to find a place for your fur baby to go to during the day this is the place to go. I am so pleased with the care my dog is shown during day boarding. She is a rescue and has severe separation anxiety and she is given so much attention during her stay. My girl comes home tired and happy! The staff is so patient and makes her feel very special. The resort for pets at eagle mountain lake is absolutely fantastic! I hate leaving my two dogs with anyone but when we are traveling and cannot bring them we trust they will be loved and cared for at the resort! Let me start by saying that my fur baby has been in boarding prior to this experience. My baby Memphis is a very active, playful, 6 month old English bulldog. My husband and I dropped him off Monday evening we were going on a 5 day trip and the usual place Rickords Animal Hospital was booked solid for this trip so I decided to try this place out 1. It had decent reviews 2. It was close to home. Today I picked up my pup and when I drove to the back to get my baby the girl that brought him to me was rude and very bothered. The first thing and only thing that came out of her mouth was that he tore up the bedding and that next time he needs toys to play with because he was board. While on there website they say that they get play time 4 times a day. So how board can he get? As soon as I get him in the car I noticed that he was shedding a lot and panting more than usual. He was not his normal playful self. He smelled like a dirty dog. Which is odd because according to the email report card I received the day before he was bathed. My husband noticed insect bites in his ears as well. That's not the worse part. Whoever trimmed his nails did an AWFUL JOB! They were very short and there was a little blood on the nails. I must say this has got to be the worst experience ever! My poor baby is probably traumatized now. I don't know what kind of "EXPERTS" They have working there but this is beyond a nightmare. Oh and they are only getting this one star because I have to add it! read more

I have had my share of pet resorts and hotels in the past and most or either so fool that they have no time to give your pet a second look or the upkeep is nasty. They want to say "Hey, we have cameras on our property so you can check on your pet" (looking at you Dogs Rule Resort in Keller). Couldn't even see my dog because they have like 5000 of them there staying. Anyway, Resort for Pets gave me good vibes while I was dropping off my dog. The suites are very nice and have the open feeling, it's in the country and the staff is hands down the best I've ever dealt with. I knew right away that my dog would be greatly taken care of. They even showed me around and the actual crate my dog would be in. The other place just took the dog and ran off without me saying goodbye. Greatly consider this place when looking for resorts. read more

Let me start by saying, my two dogs are my fur babies. I boarded there a year ago when I went to Hawaii. I dropped off 2 healthy babies and picked up 2 babies sick with kennel cough. A year later I decided to try them out 1 more time. I wanted to give them another shot because the lady who owns the place was good at how she handled the kennel cough situation. I went to pick my babies up today only to run into staff with bad customer service who wanted to argue with me and not do their jobs. First the lady wanted to over charge me almost $100 because she didn't know how to apply a discount. (Discount was from kennel couch incident) I said no. She figured out how to apply the discount in less than a minute. Amazing..... She then called down to the boarding part and told them I would be at the gate to pick up my kids. After waiting for 20 minutes I went back to the office. Yet again, the lady wanted to offer excuses and not do the job. Back to the gate, first thing the new lady says is "no one called and told me you were waiting" as I tried to explain I heard the call she started to argue. Really!?!! Oh this is lovely customer service! As I am loading the dogs I notice she failed to bring there belongings. So I wait some more for her to retrieve my children's, collars, leashes, dog bowls and toys. Morale if my story: I will NOT board with them again and if you value your fur babies I would suggest you look else where. Looking back I feel my babies got kennel cough because the staff cuts corners. They are not trained and have bad customer service. read more

We have really enjoyed our experiences with Resort for Pets and the attached Vet and Grooming services. In the past, our yorkie has trembled the moment we get into the parking lot of our previous vet, groomer and boarder. However, she seems excited to go to the Resort for Pets. During our last experience, we got caught in Fort Worth traffic and they stayed open an extra 15 minutes for us on a Saturday, without any complaint. We were so relieved we could still pick-up our dog well after the expected time of pick-up. It has been SO convenient to drop our dog off in the mornings before work and retrieve her on the way home, so she could get a wellness check-up, and a new hair cut and bath. The customer service at the Resort for Pets has been exceptional. During my (unscheduled) first visit, I got a tour of the facility and it exceeded my expectations. The facility was well kept and the current tenants seemed very content. The staff seemed knowledgeable and extremely helpful during my visit. I was very nervous to leave my dog in a new place for a week, but I left feeling confidant she would be fine and in good hands. I strongly recommend the Resort for Pets. read more

I have been to many groomers and facilities but Resort for Pets at Boat Club was so refreshing! Staff so helpful, clean and organized. There is a veterinary hospital attached if I needed updates on annuals. The most important reason I was there was my grooming appointment. I have a terrier mix. Nothing fancy, a cute little mess. However, could not find a groomer who could do a thing with her, until now. Barb, worked her magic shears on my Rigby and now she is shabby chic. Barb listened to what I wanted, heard me, used her talent, and the end result was great. I live in Keller, the drive will be worth the result. I can now schedule my veterinary appointments around grooming appointments since the hospital is there as well. There is a resort for overnight, looked pretty cool too. read more

I leave my dogs in Boat Club's very capable hands whenever I have to go out of town. They know my dogs well, and I can tell by their interactions with my animals that my dogs trust them and are happy there. I love that they have added the online reservation service and that I can fill out all the pertinent info needed prior to arrival. I love getting the report cards via email during their stay. I appreciate the pictures they take of my animals while they are boarding and the updates on their diet, behavior, etc. It just gives me peace of mind to know that they are being well taken care of when I am not there. My dogs safety is of utmost importance to me. They don't necessarily play well with others, but the staff at BCRP know this and keep this in mind so there are no "accidents" or injuries to or from other animals. Minus one star due to the cost. We board there quite a bit, as well as have our regular vet services for 3 dogs, and I'm pretty sure we have personally helped somebody's kid thru college... but in the long run, it's worth it. I will continue to board my hounds at BCRP because I know they are safe, well cared for, and loved. read more

Had an appt for my dog to get groomed at the location off Boat Club Rd. I made the appt online and it said my appt was for Noon. I tried to drop him off at 10:30 and they told me he was suppose to be there by 8:30 am so they wouldn't service my dog, no where on the online reservations did it stipulate that he had to be there by 8:30 for a 12 o'clock appt. They took my number down and said that a tech would call me and reschedule, week and a half later and I still haven't heard from them When going online, the next available isn't for another week and a half. I love love love the Haslet place ! I'm a crazy mom and is hard for me to feel comfortable dropping my baby off anywhere!! But as soon as we arrived Socrates was super excited and happy to be there! The staff was extremely nice and took great care of him! They asked me a lot of questions about him, his personality and what he likes/dislikes and this made me feel extremely comfortable because I knew he was going to be treated like we do at home! They have a vet hospital next to the daycare which is extremely convenient and I know that if he has an accident or needs special attention the vet is just a couple steps away!!! I'm so happy I found a place where I can be sure he will be ok, safe, happy and we'll taken care of I have tried so many daycares and finally we found something that works for us! He is an older dog, and is also quite nervous away from home, and they are very good at making him feel safe and loved. They are all so nice, and I love the report cards they send regularly to let us know how he's acting, eating, etc., along with new pics of him. This Pets Hotel is very well managed, I fully trust them with my dog, I leave him there almost every day and I have peace of mind that he's having a great time playing with his furry friends and also getting the human attention he loves. We have boarded my 2 dogs here off and on over the past 5 years and have been very happy. The staff is always friendly and very informative on how our dogs were during their boarding. Our girls greet us with wagging tails and are happy as can be at pick up. They require just like any other boarding facility is required to do, for your animals to be up to date on vaccinations, kennel cough and have a negative fecal for worms. We take our bichons there for grooming and they do the best job I've ever had done! They are very friendly, responsive, and affordable (which is unusual for bichons which are high maintenance). They are also vigilant about shots being up to date, so I would not hesitate to board my bichons there. I have only ever had in-house dog babysitters, but I have confidence that I would be able to be away worry-free if they were boarded here.
