My wife & I enjoyed a 60 minute deep tissue couples massage for Valentine's Day and it was everything we needed! We had two female masseuse and they did a really great job. We had a 10:00 a.m. appointment so they were still getting rooms cleaned out and set up when we arrived but they got us into our room very quickly. The only thing that I disliked at one point was our masseuse holding a conversation during our massage. Though they were whispering, we like it to be nice and quiet during our sessions. At one point my wife's masseuse stopped her massage to speak to someone outside of our room. Though this did not affect her 60 Minute massage, it was not appreciated. It was a little chilly when we got into our room but once we let on the beds we noticed that they were warm and we were very comfortable. 60 Minutes goes by fast when you're having fun! Especially when you're enjoying the relaxation. A Couples massage was $140 which, in my opinion, was very affordable. We may return in the future and add on the hot stones and foot massage. Got a massage here last week and still can feel the good affects of it. I got the 1 hour Swedish massage so your whole body gets massaged out. We got there early and everything was ready for us. Only thing I would have liked more is if we did the couple massage to be in the same room and the lady that gave me a massage did not speak much English and wish she spoke to me more. I have a lot of tension and pain in my upper back and immediately the masseuse noticed and really spend a good deal of time working that area. I have been sit up so much straighter all week because there is no pain anymore! Definitely worth the money and they even have a Groupon coupon right now. read more

Ownership has changed again for the better. Three new masseuses with different techniques. The prices are great. The new owner is quickly making changes to give a better experience. The massage tables have all been replaced with permanent tables versus the previous portable tables. New lighting is being installed, so there is that in between look that is not great. My first time trying cupping...not my thing as it really hurt+and left some rather big marks) Nice enough woman but I don't think she was very good at understanfing what I wanted. My fiance Zach and I have been going to Lisa and Cindy for years. When they moved to Rest & Repose, it was a no-brainer to follow them here. GET THIS, it's even more affordable than when they were at Zen Acupressure. Because of that, we always tip them well because it's WELL DESERVED. We've had many massages over the years, many of them have been at nice spas or resorts. However, we've always left feeling like they paled in comparison to Lisa and Cindy. They know us well enough to know what areas we want to be worked on. They can also tell when we have sore areas that need extra tending. If it's your first time, just let them know where you want them to focus and if you need more pressure applied. Untrue what someone said that the services have gone down. I went there today and received a magnificent deep tissue for two hours with YuYu and being a massage addict, I will be going to her again. I went here because my usual spot was booked. My technician was Cindy. She did an amazing job! She pinpointed the knots and areas that needed work and she really gave them the business. I feel so nice and loose. Honestly this is the only time I've ever felt this loose after a massage. When I indicated an area needed more work she addressed that area. I really want to share my experience with everyone ! I work at the five stars hotel. So I have very high standers. I was google massage place around this area then I pick up this one. It's great customer service and Cindy did excellent job!!! She knew exactly where I need focus I don't even need to tell her ! I always start massage from one hour . If the therapist not good I will cut to half hour. But today when she start 10 minutes I was asking her if she can do 90 minutes for me! She make me want to stay longer! I got soooooooo many massages from everywhere ( they're great too!) but for this price no one can't beat! Spiffy spa, spacious rooms, clean sheets and they have the extra soft blanket for colder rooms, have electrical heating of tables, separate adjustable headrest, reasonable price of 60 per hour and 90 for 90 minutes for a North Bethesda/Rockville location. The masseuse that I got was Lisa who seems fairly adept at medium pressure massage and is very conscientious on time, massaging all required problem areas in an hour and was very pleasant and professional to interact. They do have the 10 one hour visits gets you an hour massage free card program which is nice. The only downside is sometimes parking on a busy time as it's a narrow strip they are located in and also with a lot of construction going on in Nebel Street, sometimes access can be a little cumbersome. read more

Avoid this place! Smells like cigarettes on the sheets. Not clean at all. The head rest smells like drool. The masseuse was rough then I asked to be a bit more gentle. And she did not understand and went full light touch. I went in for 1 hour but left 30 minutes early. She did not have a clue at all how to massage. The floors were dirty, sheets had stains on them. And the language barrier was a total bust. Seems this place only attracts men I assume. Looks like a place where you get the happy ending. Don't recommend this place to no one. read more

One of my favorite locations for massages. I'm glad that I finally found a great, reasonably spa place! I have been here twice so far, both of the massage therapists did a good job. They will ask you questions and see how you are doing throughout the massage to make sure the pressure level is ok. The environment is super clean and smells great. Unfortunately, like another reviewer said, this place had a change of ownership and it all went downhill. The two outstanding masseuse (Lisa and Cindy) left. And now this place is but a mere massage farm with people who could care less about giving proper massages. This place really gives Chinese massage businesses a bad name. I booked a massage appointment here for me and my husband. My masseuse applied oil to my back and was just casually rolling up and down my back with her palms without any discernible technique and zero deliberate effort--same movement for the first 10 minutes. Then I asked if she can apply more pressure and focus on one area. No reply from her--I later found out that she doesn't speak a word of English. Then another five minutes went on where she was touching my right shoulder with two fingers in a pushing motion. I tilted my head to the right and saw the she actually had her phone on the massage bed, next to my right shoulder, browsing and texting. So yeah, 15 minutes into my massage, I terminated the appointment. It was beyond amateurish and despicable. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to my masseur. My have serious intense shoulder and back from sitting at my desk for long hours at work. I suffered from neck pain from time to time. Jessie(the masseur) listened to my problems and suggested me the deep tissue massage. My body was so relieved after.
