    Rest Area I-95 South

I think this was one of the cleanest restrooms I've encountered in some time. Inside and out, there was no litter, there was no smell and there was no graffiti. The parking lot was easy to negotiate and plenty of parking. Not much shade, but that's to be expected in Florida. Southbouth I-95 between Melbourne and Palm Beach. Enjoy the rest while you can as the traffic really starts to pick up and get crazy from here on south. [Review 10898 overall, 670 of 2019.]

When you have to stop you have to stop so it's comforting to know that a 24 hour rest stop is sprinkled every 43 minutes or so down I 95. I prefer the food court style rest area of the turnpike but these work too in a pinch. When you enter the rest stop cars go to the front and trucks to the back. This rest stop has plenty of clean bathrooms which is a big plus. Near the rest areas is the usual disturbing bulletin boards featuring missing kids and the poisonous snakes of Florida. While necessary information neither topic gives travelers a comforting feeling. Also by the bathrooms are the travel magazines containing coupons and adds for hotels or attractions. They seem kind of antiquated since you can easily get all of the information off of your smart phone without having to page through a magazine. If you are hungry you are limited to the snack machines. There is a good variety of treats including coffee and they are well stocked. The downside is they are the old style of machine so no apple pay or debit cards. If you don't have singles or change you aren't getting goodies and cash is something that I am finding I carry less of these days. Other rest area amenities include picnic tables and large green areas where people can walk their dogs. I 95 rest stops are basic but they get the job done so you can get back on the road quickly and on to better places.

Handy rest stop right off the highway and there is a ton of parking! There were plenty of restrooms and a woman cleaning them too. Everything looked well kept up. There are vending machines with snacks and beverages, but no restaurants located here. They do have plenty of Florida lodging guide books as well. If you packed a lunch and need a break, this rest area has some covered picnic tables on premise.

This rest stop is relatively clean and the vending machines are well stocked with a lot of variety.

Just restrooms and picnic tables here folks, but it's made up well with lots of stalls, clean inside and out, and very close convenient parking. If you need a quick break from busy highway driving, this is the place to stop at!

I stopped here at O'Dark 30, I am usually skeptical at night but when ya gotta go ya gotta go! To my surprise it was very clean, well lit, maintained. The bathroom was huge like how they all are! There were a few other people using the vending machines getting snacks. It didn't have that terrible rest stop smell. There was a bunch of trailers parked in the back. I didn't see any lot lizards around either. All in all not a bad stop, but given the hour a quick one!

A spacious rest area located on 95 South just south of Palm Bay. It is a good place stop in and take a break from the road.

You have clean bathrooms, covered picnic tables, and vending machines. People who need to walk their dogs can do so in a designated area. I do enjoy paying a visit to the vending machines. They now take debit cards instead of just coins and the prices for items are still reasonable. You can get a variety of candy bars, cookies, chips, and pop as well as a hot cup of coffee. They have about three self-checkout stalls so you can help yourself. Of course, I'm here to charge my EV on my 1000 mile road trip and have found these Pilot Flying J chargers to be very reliable. I've always found the fuel prices to be competitive with other stations and they offer 3 grades of unleaded (87, 89, and 93), as well as diesel fuel. It's easy pay at the pumps with a card and there is always washer fluid in buckets with a squeegee for windshield cleaning. For all the reasons listed above, this makes for my favorite location to meet up with my riding buddy when we go on our rides. This makes for a great stop for travelers as well as it's approximately 60 miles further north until Daytona (and about 25 miles south to Melbourne). Stop in and check this place out!

The bathrooms could've definitely used a better cleaning because it was a little dirty and dingy in there... The food prices ay the Wendy's I stopped at were decent but what stinks is they don't offer any of the combo meals. Everything here is al la carte which makes sense so they can make more money. The staff was friendly (for the most part) and the place was clean. There was an insane amount of spots to sit and eat and everything was clean table wise. It wasn't worth being late to my destination to wait in the line. I skipped the coffee and pressed on. Florida's roads are getting packed sooner and staying this way all day. It's almost impossible to see a time of day when there isn't traffic. The infrastructure on the roads isn't supporting the recent population growth. There's been an increase in population plus tourists and the usual snow birds who live in the areas. It's getting noticeably bad. The state's going to have to budget to improve these things for safety reasons. The service stations aren't what they used to be. Fort Pierce was renovated but it still has long wait times. It was not convenient.

Another very automated experience with you ordering on a kiosk and waiting for your number to be called when your food is ready.
