There was apparently a malfunctioning vending machine back then that upset one guy that was there that claimed that the machine "stole his chocolate" as he then walked away screaming a rant in French over the phone. Otherwise, it seemed like a fine place to stop by on a long road trip.

If you have a big rig, there's ample parking for you! But this was a plain and simple pit stop. I'm always amazed at the cleanliness of these rest stops - 95% of the time they are clean. They have toilet paper, soap, and paper towels and/or hot air hand dryers. I've rarely seen the attendants who maintain these areas, but I am grateful for them!

I am not traditionally handicapped, but due to an old leg injury, I sometimes have trouble standing from a seated position after long drives. The bars in the handicap stall have been helpful a time or two. Ok, here is the problem. The toilet paper holder is on the far side of the stall. Some thoughtful human put a loose roll next to the toilet but it was almost empty. Unless you have go go gadget arms, its impossible to reach the toilet paper holder. I will say this, the sign outside said no handicap access in that building, but there was another building that looked to have handicap access avail.

It is a decent stop for travelers going north on I-75. It was very easy to get off and back on the interstate, which I always appreciate. The layout is similar to other Georgia rest areas I've used along I-75 northbound. Car parking is right by the main road closest to the building, while truck parking is on the other side and the building and its land is sandwiched between them. There is a fair amount of trees and shade, and several covered picnic tables outside, which is nice if you want to stretch your legs or eat something. The building itself is clean and well-maintained. The restrooms were in good condition and the whole area seemed safe. It's not fancy, but it's a solid, functional stop when you need a break from driving. Compared to some of the other rest areas I've visited on I-75 northbound in Georgia, this one is about average, nothing special but definitely better than some of the older ones. It does its job well and provides a convenient place to stop for a comfort break. I would recommend this rest area to other travelers going north on I-75 through the Macon area when you need a quick, clean break from the road.

These rest areas provide essential services for those of us traveling the interstate system…read morealthough some are much better maintained than others believe me I've stopped at hundreds of these over the years and there are no minimum standards - the amenities in general are based on how much money the states are willing to invest and the employees that are employed to maintain them. This one although older was very clean during our stop. I rarely use the facilities at these rest areas when traveling in the RV, but after walking around to get the blood flowing again after driving for a number of hours I did here. The restrooms were spic n span clean I will say it didn't appear that the traffic was very heavy through the area so your experience may differ depending on what day and time it is. There are plenty of Truck and RV parking spaces and the same can be said for the car side, with easy access from either parking area. If you have a need to take a break this one should work well for you...

heading toward Atlanta between the holidates I really wanted to clear the construction zones before…read moretraffic got too stupid and having accomplished that a brief pause here was manageable. take advantage of the deceleration lane to slow-down coming in; having a crash on the way in will likely lead to an accident in the lot which would be embarrassing for everyone. plenty of spots once you get in (doesn't even matter what you're driving) and there's plenty of room at the tables for everyone - until there ain't. so anyway: watch out for pedestrians, clean up after yourself and your pets and your children, wash your hands frequently, avoid ultra-processed foods and keep to the right unless overtaking.

The vegetables are fresh sliced, you can ordet wheat or white roll, toasted or not. The wraps are great. I watch him make my sub. It was great. Inwas surprised by.the taste and all the veggies on it. I ordered turkey sub with everything. Very good. Some QT kitchens are getting fryers for fries and chicken tenders. Their large pizza is very good. Not thivk.but not thin. I went to The QT at Chamblee tucker rd and Dresden Dr. Good price for good food. Their grilled cheese and very good and it is on sour dough bread.

The 22 pumps span across the front and one side of the store. Cold drinks and hot snacks are on one end of the store, and hot drinks are on the other. This location has a QT Kitchen and an Amazon locker !!!! I always stop at a QT before a road trip to fill up the cooler, feed everyone, and use the bathroom. The bags of ice (road trip necessity) are inside with the cooler drinks instead of outside.
