However, this review is to bring light to the enormous holds they put on cards used at the pump. Almost all gas stations do this but the standard charge is supposed to be $75 for passenger vehicles and Visa/MC are supposed to only allow up to a max of $175 for this. I had a reserve hold (assumption) put on my card for almost $250! for filling up my car's gas tank. the charge is listed 2 minutes before the final real charge. Pilot has gotten in trouble for this before and so much so a class action lawsuit was filed; looks like they are still at it. If this was somehow flagged as such on the transaction i wouldn't have such a problem with it as I keep my balance clean and have plenty of available credit. However, the CC company can't distinguish this transaction from the actual one so there is the concern until it flushes out that this could be a fraudulent transaction.

A beautiful pond with a flowing brook is the centerpiece of the park. There is a fun pavilion at one side of the pond, ideal for concerts and parties. A walking path/sidewalk encircles the park. On the north side of the park is an upscale playground with several climbing structures, swings and musical features. The equipment is designed to be inclusive. There are benches around the park to sit and watch the kids. The restroom facilities were currently closed. Plenty of parking was found around the park. This is a fabulous small town park.

Bathrooms were reasonably clean, completely stocked and there was no trash in the parking lot. The far end of the lot was in the shade and after I long day of exploring Columbus, a thirty minute nap worked out really well. There are separate structures for the vending machines and the bathrooms. The rest area is not staffed though I'm sure it's regularly patrolled by the state police, or at least I hope that it is. It seemed a little secluded and unattended and silent and quiet. Spooky even. There was not much going on and I didn't notice any places to eat or drink anything. Just some vending machines and some toilets and not somewhere that I would sleep for the night, and this is coming from someone that has slept on the streets of Queens one too many times. Having said that it's better than falling asleep at the wheel so I won't give it the lowest rating.
