The places went downhill bad since can't use the pool. Don't have no camp store. They can barely keep them. The grass mowed maintenance. They don't have any new buildings from previous owner. Limbs go through the roof. They can't even fix it. Don't even have the equipment to maintain the place. After 17 years we were asked not to return for the 26th season which doesn't really matter. We were thinking about pulling out anyway but was really never given a reason. Besides, you wouldn't kiss their ass I would not recommend this place to anybody

The manager, Paul, and his wife, Sarah, couldn't be more kind, helpful, and welcoming. Paul went above and beyond helping us to get setting into our site. We are RV virgins and don't even own a truck yet, so we had our travel trailer delivered. Paul was on hand to expertly guide the delivery driver into the perfect placement of our new weekend home. He stayed after the driver left to make sure our water and electric were all hooked up and functioning. We would have been so lost without his help. They are both just the nicest people. They even surprised us with a thoughtful welcome gift! We are looking forward to an amazing camping season and I'm sure it won't be our last at this beautiful park. I'm so glad we were able to get a spot here. It's perfect!

My husband, mom, baby, and I recently spent the day on the beach. For a lake beach, it is a good…read moresize and honestly pretty well kept. There was minimal trash on the beach. The water is murky, like you would expect, and the sand is really rough and gritty, again like you would expect for a lake, but it's not slimy. The bathrooms are brand new. There is a ton of green space and plenty of room to spread out from other families. There are picnic shelters and grills. Huge parking lot! Even on the busiest summer holidays, I have never struggled to find parking. There is a really nice fenced in dog area, as well as as a dog section of the beach. If it was closer, we would probably be there a lot this summer as it's a great way to cool down.

If you paddle to the back of the lake on the campground side, the creek is gorgeous. There's a ton of wildlife like herons, turtles, eagles, and all sorts of fish for catch and release. The campground hosts several events throughout the season and has electric and non-electric but no full hook up. The camp store has everything you may need. Hike on one of the many clean trails or try a round of disc golf, it's a brand new trail and impressive!

There's a limit of 6 adults (or total people, I can't recall) per site, but hypothetically, there'd be enough room for more! I camped with 4 other friends with 3 different tents and had plenty of room to play volleyball, set up a projector and screen, and chairs around the fire ring. The bathhouses are clean and very nice for campground bathhouses. Seems like there's ample amount of bathhouses spread throughout. Worth it to have the sites with electric for any simple needs. Camp store had plenty of wood and other fun stuff too! Will definitely be returning!

I got lucky with our spot being just a few minute walk to a lil private beach for fishing and swimming. It was a bit tricky to get down the cliff but once you do there is a very long rocky beach to play and explore. Bathroom and campsites were clean. I personally would like a few more trees at the campsites for privacy and hanging hammocks but i would still return for the beautiful lake!
