The vegetable patties were also crispy and balanced, slightly sweet. The beer list was limited but we liked what we ordered. Hate to be a broken record but we've had better while in the city. It came with white and purple sauerkraut and chives dumplings. I had the goulash, which was a hint of spicy with the paprika and onions. The dumplings (4) sopped up the rest of the gravy. We began with Zelníky, a delicious cabbage and ham stuffing. The blend of savory ham and tangy cabbage was a pretty tasty way to start the meal. For the main course, we had Špízy, a grilled chicken shish kabob, which was perfectly grilled and served with zelené fazole, (green beans), francouzské brambory (potatoes au gratin), and fresh chléb bread balls. The layered potato dish was especially delightful, creamy and well-seasoned. Probably my favorite part of the meal. For dessert we indulged in a heavenly palačinka se zmrzlinou, a light and delicate crêpe filled with rich chocolate and topped with smooth ice cream. It was the perfect sweet note to end the meal. And if that wasn't enough, the endless wine (red or white) was the cherry on top! Throughout the evening, our glasses were continuously refilled, and I may or may have left dinner slightly tipsy.
