I went there 2 times and both times when I walked in, the lady just looked at me and turned her head. I asked if she could help me grab something on the top shelf and she sighed, grabbed it for me and then when I asked a simple "wow, this is different! have you tried this?" She said in a very irritating manner "i dont know anything about that. I just sell it so just leave it there if you dont want it." All while walking away from me, no eye contact. I then stood in line waiting and waiting to be checked out while she was having side conversations with someone she knew. Conversations about grandchildren even though shes only in her 60's and how she wants one, how she doesnt want to wait till shes "10ft under" (thought the saying was 6ft under but anyways), talking about a restaurant near by, etc etc ALL WHILE SHE KNEW I WAS WAITING TO BE RUNG UP. As soon as I was about to put my stuff down and walk out, she goes "you need something?" I told her "yeah I'm waiting for you to ring me out." And she took my stuff, rang it, took my money AND THEN CONTINUED HER CONVO WHILE HOLDING ONTO MY MONEY!! She didnt put it in the register, she didnt get my change, she just held onto it and carried on with her conversation. I then wanted to take the money back and leave, thats when she opened the register, got my change and as I held my hand out for her to hand me my change, she just laid it on the counter for me to pick the change up. She didn't put my things in a bag, she didn't say thank you nor did she say goodbye. She just put my change on the counter and continued her conversation with the other person. I don't ever really see cars parked on their side of the parking lot and My mother and I were the only customers. No wonder why! I have a business of my own, my whole family does. That is not how you run a business. I felt SO disrespected while shopping there. I was not rude, I was smiley when I walked in and I always try to speak politely and professionally. If that lady isnt the owner then that place needs a new employee or new staff members. Someone who can utilize the down time to tidy up the place and can offer decent customer service. Completely unacceptable. I would give it 0 stars if I could, shame to this business.

Extremely unpleasant woman sitting at the register reading a book made it very clear that I was interrupting her day by asking about tools they might have for making dumplings. In a very condescending tone, she informed me that dumpling presses were out of stock for the next 4 months "everywhere". When I said I wasn't sure if I needed a press, but was there anything else they might have that could help me make dumplings, as my significant other and I would like to try making dumplings together, she looked as though I had asked an impossible question, and then let me know that the only way to make dumplings was to do it in a "family setting". She said, "That's what the Asian families do. They make them together as a family." Not having a 'family', I said My significant other and I were just looking to enjoy some time together and make some dumplings in a casual way, she said no, that isn't how it's done, and again started talking about how dumpling presses were out of stock until I just said never mind and left. I hated that experience. I don't see why she had to put such emphasis on the fact that I wasn't Asian and we aren't a big family or something. That made me feel horrible about myself.

A few days later, I decided to return the dress because it was too expensive for a newborn. When I went back to the store, a different salesperson told me that the store only issues store credit. When I explained that the previous salesperson had not mentioned this, she pointed to a small pink slip stapled to my receipt that stated the store's refund policy. I asked to speak with the owner, who repeated that the policy was printed on the pink slip. I explained that the slip was given to me after I had already purchased the dress, which makes it irrelevant. The salesperson should have informed me of the return policy before completing the sale. I also pointed out that the standard expectation is to receive a refund, and that the store should clearly post its return policy--such as on the front window or at the register--so customers can see it before making a purchase. Failing to do so is a deceptive practice. The policy should be displayed prominently in the storefront to ensure fair and transparent business practices. I returned the dress and was issued a store credit. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. I've always supported small businesses, but I will no longer support The Blue Marble.

I will happily comply with whatever store rules someone has, but without signage, I have no way of knowing what those rules are if they're not typical rules. In this case, there was no signage of any kind. I know this because I specifically looked for it. Carefully. That said, read on. I was looking at the chicks in the middle of the store and no one was around to help me. So I went in the enclosure, that has no locks or signage (other than cute signs) and picked up a chick. Apparently not allowed. Oops. The store manager saw me, came over and went *berserk.* She loudly yelled at me in front of everyone in the middle of the store. She wouldn't back down. Instead, she doubled down and was loudly yelling at me, scolding me, and using very rude language. Humiliating! I explained that I didn't know it wasn't allowed and apologized for my error, and had there been any indication that it wasn't ok, I wouldn't have. I told her she was really out of line and unprofessional and that she shouldn't treat customers this way and that they need signage to indicate that something isn't ok. Or a lock! It made no difference. She continued to yell at me, and even defended her terrible behavior!! I insisted she apologize for her mistreatment, and she sarcastically gave me a yelling/flimsy apology, stating something like I'm sorry you're offended. Which anyone with half a brain cell knows is not an apology. Then she stalked off in a huff. As I left the store, she was angrily instructing one of the associates to put up signage. To make matters worse, I called corporate offices, waited on hold for a half hour, and when I finally got to speak to someone, I was promised that a district manager would call me. No one ever did. If you enjoy being abused, please visit this store and see the young female manager, about in her 20's, maybe 30's light brown hair. Will literally never be back or shop or any of their stores again. This company doesn't care about its customers, apparently. A problem is an opportunity to shine and earn a lifetime customer.

My existing vent hookup was not in the best shape, but through his creative genius, Justin made it work with a safe and functional hookup. This saved me the cost of getting an outside HVAC person to re-do the hookup, which I greatly appreciated. These 2 guys are a great team, 5 star, A+ rating. Give these guys a raise!
