The warehouse for all things restaurant related. When I went, it was my first time there. This place is huge!!!! I didn't even realize some food items even came in huge sizes like that. It was actually pretty neat to see. I went in for smaller, large items. Lol. I needed a spatula, some scoops, some bowls, and some disposable cups. I walked around to see what all they offered. I didn't walk around the entire store, but the little I did cover had a lot. Name something restaurant related and they have it. It's huge and they offer a lot of items at a discounted price. It's like the Costco and Sam's of the restaurant industry. Overall, my first experience was good and I didn't have any complaints. read more

Today was my first time ordering from Restaurant Depot with Uber Eat. WOW, was I Surprise? Everything was delivered, right? I ordered 4 cases of water, and my Uber driver was wonderful. Please give Restaurant Depot a try using Uber Eat. I love Uber Eat. read more

There is something comical to me about seeing everyday things in huge quantities. It reminds of that Giant Land level from Nintendo Super Mario Bros 3. Anyway... I had never heard of Restaurant Depot until I was hired to do a sorbet sampling here, but my husband informed me that it's the place where they shop for ingredients on Top Chef. There are tons of employees around and they were all very helpful to me. One of them told me that their prices are a lot better than Sam's Club or Costco. I believe him. The freezer section here is so big that they keep a bunch of jackets outside it that you can borrow specifically for going in, then return after you're done. It's very conveniently located off the I-75 Mitchell Ave exit. Easy in, easy out, easy parking. read more

Sells bad open sign lights dont work, not my fault I have to return your broken crap. Trust me, I dont like to return things, waste of my time. Today service is terrible. The cashier crew and other managers are awesome, but who ever does the returning need to have a better attitude. Dont sell crappy signs that doesn't work and we wont have to return them!!! read more

This is the store where chefs shop for the restaurant, when prices are compared between Restaurant Depot and Sysco or US Foods, Restaurant Depot has much better prices with the same ingredients. This is not a store for a consumer, just restaurants, but if one is looking for mass quantities of food for a party they will let you in as long as you pay cash. As I have said this place has everything from 50lbs of chicken bones to gourmet spices. read more

I have been using this RD for over 4 months now, and nothing seems to improve. The general experience is a cluster f#$k. Customers are constantly complaining. This RD is constantly out of stock on regular items. The manager either does not seem to know when items are coming back in stock or he gives assurances that stock is coming on a particular day only to find that it did not arrive or does not arrive for weeks or even months. No one seems to know what they have on hand, either. Check out is ridiculous. It can take up to 20 minutes PER PERSON to check out because there is always some kind of problem which requires two cashiers to fix, one of whom is constantly bouncing between registers to address issues. I've never seen an RD so poorly run. I find that I usually walk into this place in a great mood but always leave crabby. I shop here as little as possible now and always hope I never have to return. Too bad the next closest RD or anything like it is 2 hours away! read more
