Hate coming to this place , not sure why they don't do stocking before they open and it's an accident ready to happen it's just a matter of time. Worst customer service I have ever encountered from Danielle. She is absolutely rude and so is the "door man." He had the audacity to talk crap to a disabled person in front of their small child to other customers. All because she is disabled and needed to be driven there and happened to be in the same car. It's convenient to buy items that the big grocery distributors don't break case on. The prices are not always the best. They make many errors. Their staff, even department managers, don't know their products very well. I.e. Don't know the different cuts of meat, or don't know or care if the "fresh" produce it anything but fresh. They are inconsistent in stocking items, meaning items I depend on weekly I can't depend on being in stock. Like tumbled baby carrots. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so since they have no real competition around here. They could do a much better job....! Very very bad customer service, the meat price doesn't match with the price at the cashier. One of the employee even insults me, he thinks I make a big deal for just a few cents, he takes some cash from his pocket and say will pay the difference. It's not about the few cents but I am questioning the right price. It's not fair for the customer to get charge for different price at the cashier. This has happened several times, make sure to take a picture on the merchandise price. At the end he said that he does not know about the meat price because he is the produce manager. That even makes it worse, being a manager but having a bad customer service, can't be an asset for the company. read more

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS. The frozen chicken breasts are 1.45/lb today. They charged us $1.57/lb and thats 120 lbs! When we spotted it they were mad and gave us attitudes. This is not the first time, they seem to cheat everytime they can. Customer service is also rude. Looks like everyone had a bad day there. Service is very slow here. I've been coming here since they opened. Employees were a lot more helpful a couple years ago but now there seems to be a high turnover on cashiers (and never more than 2 lanes open), which means slower service. I would think a place that caters to restaurant owners would know how important fast service is. It seems as if business isn't doing as good because produce is not as fresh as it used to be. Management should definitely step up the service. Everybody there looks like they hate their job. read more

I have been shopping at this store for about 2 years. At first the prices were really good then almost overnight they shot up to the moon somethings even tripled in price. Then you get something the price says $14.99 when you get to the register its $19.99. They claim customers move items in the wrong place. I doubt a customer moved a whole case of shrimp in the wrong place. Being a black own business owner I sometimes feel my business is not wanted since they have gotten a bigger customer base in the area. It takes forever to check out one day I waited almost 40 minutes because they had hid the shrimp they advertised on sale. Some cashiers I won't even get in their lines. read more

Good selections on bulk items and good prices. Huge issues is customer service! Out right rude. One employee was moving a pallet in the refrigerator, he was short and could not see over it and bumped another pallet. He proceeded to have a melt down cussing and shouting at that pallet like a 6 year old, every one around just looked at this guy like really? We ask an employee where something is they rolled there eyes and just pointed over there. Lastly we were loading our truck and another lady was putting her cart by the curb. Another employee began shouting from half way across the parking lot that that is not where it goes. There is no cart returns in the parking lot, I get it ya just take it back to the store but no need to be rude and shout at people. Customer service has gone from bad to terrible at this restaurant depot. They need to train and hold their staff accountable. Half of the people just walk around looking lazy and slow. Today like any other day, I shop here on a regular basis since they opened, sometime twice a week. I was in a hurry, so I went in a grab a few items. At produce, good beansprout was tugged in the back, bad one was upfront. I grabbed 1 good one from back and left. forgot to put the bad one back where it was. Produce manager (Mike) chased me down, long away from produce dept and said it's ok to get the good one but not to leave it on the floor. I said o.k, noted. I thought he was just going to warn me so I don't do it again next time, but no. He just stood there like he was asking me to go back and put it back, so I said, can you have your staff do it. He then replied, what happened if you left it on the floor of your restaurant, do you asked your staffs to do it. Yes, I said. I would, beside, this is not my restaurant, I shop here, I'm the customer. He did not like my answer and started to went off on me like a loose canon. He said, he approached me nicely and I came back pissed off. I told him to look at himself and hear himself talking. The Tone, the attitude, and the body language was like he's going to beat me up. And then hearing him said he said it in a nice way, really get to me. The guy don't even let me talk, so I put out my hand and told him to go away, I couldn't even get one word in, I hated when I'm in that situation, when they are just yapping away not listening to what you are saying. I had it with him, so I told him to go away, 3 times. He just stood there, like he is pinning me down in the reach-in Freezer. I am now very furious, and threatened, so I screamed as loud as I could, so he can go. He was not moving, It felt like an eternity trapping with him breathing down. I screamed again, this time much louder, Get out of my face.. the moment ended. Horrible. I never being treated like this before, ever. As a customer, in any establishments. When I left my house this afternoon, did I forgot that I have a note on my forehead. Attack me !!! I will continue to shop here, unfortunately, since they have no other restaurant depot around, but feel very very uncomfortable about it, especially produce section.
