Kristen was the attendant. I'm shy, so it took me a while to finally speak up for myself--i didn't want to be rude. She told me the hotdogs were gonna take a while. She had given away the last hotdogs. I tried to ask her to check for my number to make sure it wasn't lost but she refused. Kristen dismissed me and walked to the back. She returned a few minutes later with a coworker and was laughing looking in my direction. 15 minutes later, the new batch was ready. Kristen had an order for 2 hotdogs so I was sure they were mine. But then she called order 137. We were 112. Luckily my dad intervened and said "no that's order 112." She shrugged then threw the hotdog bags at him. ??!! Insane behavior. An acknowledgement would've meant a lot, but instead it felt like I was being gaslit. I think they may have lost the ticket but she wouldn't look at my receipt to check!

Clean, easy to navigate, and relatively tame shoppers. This place is like an Ikea for food…read more For those who don't shop at Costco regularly (myself) this is quite dystopian. Cold industrial lighting highlights towers upon towers of consumer goods, neatly packaged and smelling of plastic. The building itself could house what feels like the entirety of West Hartford. Security is present, multiple times we were checked for our Costco card. The deals are good, not exceptional. Example: dyson supersonic is the same price on Dyson.com, and has far more colors. Nonetheless the place is fun with ample food and close, organized parking.

Worst Customer Service…read more My experience there yesterday was not pleasant. I went to the store because I needed a few items for my home. While I was in the store I noticed an employee dressed in all black was in close proximity to every different department of the store I was in. I thought this may have been a coincidence until I purposely visited other sections of the store only to noticed this employee was not too far away. When I would turn around to look at her following me, she would pretend to stock the shelves ( with no stock in her hands) or fiddle with whatever merchandise was near her when I noticed her. This went on for 20 minutes. I was so offended and frustrated that I left without purchasing the items I needed. If you're going to have your staff follow people though out the store, maybe they could offer to assist the patron they are stalking.

I don't have time to deal with this unnecessary frustration. This is simply corporate greed to understaff the pharmacy for even more profit. I've not had a problem with the actual pharmacy employees, but they seem to be overworked. I'll be moving my prescriptions elsewhere.

I've never used the pharmacy, but for the store part it has everything I look for in a CVS I don't regularly frequent: Well stocked holiday decor and candy, variety in regular snacks and drinks, and on the right day, at least part of an aisle of clearance. Thankfully they weren't forcing use of a self checkout.
