Recently my laundry machine needed to be replaced. I went to look at the options at P.C. Richard & Son. Their sales associate Dwight greeted us as soon as we walked inside. They have so many appliances here, from coffee makers and blenders, to every single larger kitchen appliance, TVs, mattresses, even outdoor equipment such as grills. Dwight was very patient in showing a variety of washing machines that are similar to the one that needed replacing. We found an excellent one by Whrilpool. We agreed on a time and day their team would deliver the washer. Sure enough it was delivered as promised. They also hooked it up. The delivery was free. If you would like for them to dispose of an older, large appliance they can do that for you. I have been genuinely impressed with the selection at P.C. Where PC Richard & Son falls short is their delivery crew. For the last 15 years I've purchased big and small appliances here from Mike. My husband and I stopped into the Manchester, CT location today to look for a new stove and refrigerator. I specifically was looking for a gas range that had a double oven. I had struck out at many retailers in the area .. little did I know many stores do not display those! I was in luck at PC Richard though. They had SO many stoves on display and they had exactly what I was looking for the second we walked in. We were immediately helped by William and he was very knowledgeable about all the different models. He easily helped me decide on the perfect one and didn't overwhelm me with a million choices. Once we selected a stove, he brought us back to the refrigerators and showed us the ones that would look good with our stove. Once again I told him what we wanted and what we didn't want and he helped cut through the decision fatigue by pointing out 3 models that would be good fits for us. He helped us measure to make sure it would fit, and made sure the stainless steel finishes would match. Finalizing the sale was also a great experience. He was patient with us and explained everything as we went along. There was transparency in pricing, and never any pressure.. he explained the benefits to us about shopping with PC Richard and why it made sense to add on the extended warranty. If we couldn't decide on a service right then and there he said no problem you just call me tomorrow. All in all- fantastic experience. Bought 5 appliances from this company. The customer service from this place has been terrible. A few months in, the whirlpool refrigerator started making a god awful rattling noise. Called it in, they sent someone. They supposedly fixed it. 1 month later same problem. I Called back again and on 7/12 someone calls me back. He says I will call you back with a date and time and her we are 7/23 and I had to call back. Spoke to someone again today, and honestly I don't think she will do her job since I am getting calls back from this company and it sounds like a friggen fax machine. I will wait till later then I will be calling your store directly! I have already had issues with this company's delivery drivers which I was not impressed with. This is a review regarding the delivery experience. Late last year I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator at P.C. Richards in Manchester CT. The delivery driver called and advised that he is on his way which was earlier than the window that I was given. They arrived and came into the house to look at the location where the refrigerator should be installed. Then he starts giving me all these reasons why he cant install the refrigerator. There was a refrigerator already in the location so I was confused on what he was talking about. He starts telling me how much it would cost me to have a plumber come out to fix the issues that he identified but that he would do it for $300 to "help me out". I began to have a feeling of deja vu because approx four years before I bought a refrigerator from the same company for my house in Windsor CT and I experienced the exact same scenario. So I realized that it was a scam. This driver spent at least an hour trying to convince me that there was an issue to install the refrigerator. He also called his boss to report that there was an issue. So I am assuming the boss is in on the scam. He also claimed that they could not get the refrigerator through the front door and up the staircase. I gave them an alternative route which he could not argue because it took him right to where the refrigerator would be installed. Eventually he brought in the refrigerator and installed installed it within 5 minutes with no issues. So after wasting my time trying to convince me there was an issue it was proven that there was no issue, he was just trying to get money out of me. Dishonest individuals. read more

***DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS*** I bought a gas stove from then and it has been an absolute nightmare 1. The delivery service that they contract out to (A+ Installation) knocked my gas line loose and we started smelling gas the next day. I had to pay the gas company to come fix it and neither company will reimburse me for the expense! Each company is blaming the other one. Such a class situation when you have to deal with more than one vendor to get a job done. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here holding my junk in my hand and out $150 2. VERY DISAPPOINTED We purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and over the stove microwave. Murtaza Ahmadi was the sales person. We were given $200 credit for purchasing all at once. All was good when we were shelling out the hefty price tag. The refrigerator that was delivered, a Samsung, water dispenser was broken. Instead of replacing we decided to go with a different brand. A Kitchen aid which was about $500 more. Actually $700 more as they decided to remove our original credit. BS reasons. The floor model did not have an ice maker. For $130 more we could get a Kitchen Aid with the ice maker included. Murtaza asked us if we wanted to pay the extra $135.00 for installation. My wife specifically asked if it was just a mater of connecting the hose to the refrigerator. Murtaza said "yes" We chose to do it ourselves. When the refrigerator was delivered, I was handed a "box" with the ice maker inside. We were told to install it ourselves. We then requested a service man to come out and install the ice maker. for $130.00. Which they did not bill us for. It was installed WRONG. sprayed water all over the inside of the freezer. Had a second serviceman come out. tried to fix it, He said if it causes the same problem send it back that the first guy installed wrong. STILL had the same problem. That day we went into PC Richards to say we need a whole new refrigerator without an ice maker. Murtaza gave us attitude. We asked to speak with a manager. He brought us to a desk. He whispered to a man who would not make eye contact with us. He just played on his computer. 15 minutes later. My wife asked this man if he was the manager. Not making eye contact he said yes, but would not identify himself. We had to ask his name. - Matt. This man needs a class in customer service. In the end we got a new refrigerator but now Matt is refusing to give us our money back for the ice maker as he thinks we should have paid for the service charge for the guy who incorrectly installed the ice maker. A simple $130 reimbursement would have saved him all the bad reviews I plan to send out to google, yelp and who ever else I can think of. Not to mention the $200 credit they took away from us. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that you DO NOT BUY FURNITURE from a company that sells electronics! Yep......all of the good people out there please take this advice. What a terrible experience with this company buying an adjustable bed! I paid over 7,000 on an adjustable bed with an expensive "T" type mattress......I'm sure you can understand which mattress without saying the brand of it. VERY EXPENSIVE. Well I also purchased the warranty which let me tell you now will not help you either with this place. Before this warranty was over the mattress had warped......I had called them and they sent someone out who took pictures and even told us the mattress was misshapen and took a complete report. He told us to call within a few days to follow up. Well when we called to follow up they had told us because they had seen a small stain on the MATTRESS PAD which is ON TOP of the mattress when it is sold to the customer that the warranty was invalid. I then explained to them that the mattress itself was deformed and didn't know what a small stain on the MATTRESS COVER would have to do with the actual deformity of the mattress. However they refused to honor the warranty because of THE STAIN ON THE MATTRESS COVER......NOT THE MATTRESS. Then they told me to contact the "T" company who in turn told me to go back to this company and so on and so on. So please good people be warned ahead of time when buying this type of product from this company. Not only is it way overpriced for sure from sales profit but also warranty and the run around you will receive with trying to resolve an issue is harrowing. I however have discontinued my shopping within the walls of this company because there are too many other companies that are willing to work with customers with simple issues they warranty. I have a friend who told me she's never been in a P.C. Richard & Son! I couldn't believe it. My husband and I always check here for home appliances (from a chest freezer, TV, Stereo, and computer gadgets). We purchased our TV and sound system last year on Black Friday and this year we found the best model and best price on a smaller chest freezer for my mom's Christmas present. I think the sales staff is good, they're not TOO pushy most of the time (it is their job to sell you stuff), and they have provided excellent customer service for deliveries and returns. Definitely someplace I'll include in my searching when I look to replace my refrigerator, washer, dryer, or get a new tablet or other fun gadget. read more

First let me say I am being generous by giving one star rating. For those who are reading this get a snack have a seat cause this will require your ATTENTION Appliances: We have been going to P.C. Richards & Sons for years now, mainly this is the closest and cost effective appliance store. You name it we have bought it from them. It was last year when I began to question the quality of P.C. Richards & Son products. I was calling every couple months for my refrigerator to be repaired, and they came but it was ridiculous because it kept breaking down. Fast forward to now 3 refrigerators later and a 4 th one on the way. Here's a THOUGHT P.C.R.S. provide quality appliances instead of these crap throw away products. Who in their right mind wants to always stand around and wait for a tech and it's always a 2 visit, 1 to see what parts you need the 2 when the part finally comes. Or keep buying products every year. Anyway! You know what that means right!! You are Assed Out of the appliance until they want to show up. Buying a Warranty: Fast forward to July 16, 2021. Simple, DON'T buy the Warranty!!! This crap was a rip off. It has been maybe a little over a year and the refrigerator once again craps the bucket. Called service department. The young woman I spoke to was pleasant. She said there was no one to service my refrigerator. HUH?? She said she would call me back she needed to speak with a supervisor. Later that evening I was informed there was no Service Tech for my refrigerator in the whole dam Tri-State area. They would offer me a credit. Okay went to Manchester CT 230 Hale Rd. My husbands explained he was tired of buying a refrigerator every year. We asked what happens with the warranty. The Manager or Supervisor Brian whatever his title is, said you are getting a new unit so there is no need to compensate for the warranty. Now my question is this, What the purpose of telling your customers to by this crappy warranty and All you will do is find a way to wiggle out the dam thing and DONT Tell Me I'm getting a New Unit like your Actually did something. Now that means We have to add extra to the dam credit to get a refrigerator so basically we are out an extra $350.00. That includes the refrigerator and the warranty that just pissed down the drain. Delivery They told us the new refrigerator #4 would be delivered on Tuesday July, 20. 2021. On Monday as the day was going by realized no call from P.C.R.S did not call. My husband called and they told him that the Manager Brian was notified and they will not be delivering our refrigerator on Tuesday due to the fact they were booked. So my question is why did we have to call to find out the status of our refrigerator?? So we get a reminder call on Tuesday July 20, 2021 from P.C.R.S to say they will be here on Wednesday July, 21, 2021. Here it is Wednesday July 21, 2021 07:23 pm. No refrigerator. I am so annoyed, frustrated and simply pissed. The young lady was trying to be nice and i could tell she was uneasy because of my tone. She said ooh, I am sorry but your refrigerator was damaged, so it can't be delivered today. My first ? was why didn't someone CALL. I demanded the manager, and low and behold we got the Manager Brian from Friday July 16th 2021. Clearly he need to go back to Sales Training. In what Universe does a customer want to hear how it is not (his) the Manager's fault he didn't know about it. From the moment he got on the phone he gave me nothing but excuses why it cant be delivered. Even though it was P.C.R.S fault that the refrigerator is damaged. So this means we have to change our plans for another weekend, we have to eat out again for another 2 days and we have lost the food to spoilage. Went into the store to buy a dehumidifier. They had 3 models on display, and 2 new one that cost $400. I couldn't spend that much so i asked the manager if he could sell the floor model. In an aggressive tone of voice he said " No, how would i sell my product if i didn't have a floor model". Well you had no inventory except the most expensive dehumidifier. I don't know what it is, but every time I go into a PC Richard and Son it always turns into a negative experience. Sometimes it's items ringing up at the wrong price, other times it's pushy sales people. Multiple times when I am leaving the store I ask myself why I entered the store in the first place. Update: 7/15/18 Received a call from the distribution warehouse manager who stated they were very disappointed with my survey and review. They are going to refund any shipping costs and also offered to send a new crew to install the rest of my equipment. I give them a lot of credit for calling me on a Sunday morning to rectify the issue. I bumped up my review to 4 stars in light of this. Original Post: This rating is an "average" based on m y experience with the sales rep and my experience with the delivery process. I would give a 5 star rating for the customer service with William and Dorothy. William took GREAT care of us and then Dorothy followed up with great communication on delivery and customer service when dealing with an issue with our order. We purchased the 4 piece LG Matte Black Stainless kitchen. On the other hand, the delivery process however was horrible. One star at most as they had all my items... 1st the delivery driver called late morning to tell me they would be there between 12 - 3 (an hour earlier than conformed the day before). I returned home for delivery an hour earlier as requested and they did not show until AFTER 4:30 after a call to the store. Next, during delivery, the refrigerator was damaged (scratched the handle) and the delivery guy would not listen to me about getting the fridge into the house properly. Again, 5-stars for Dorothy who promptly took my call, asked for the serial number and ordered me a replacement handle. Then, they improperly disassembling the doors and drawers and after finally getting the fridge into my new kitchen, they slammed the appliance on the my newly tiled floor. I had the other 3 appliances left in the garage as I was too concerned that they would do more damage. I have had many new appliances delivered to my house over the past 20+ years and have never experienced such ineptitude. For such great customer service, I would hope they would use better and more competent delivery people. read more

Huge shout out to P.C. Richards! The bearing on my washing machine was failing and it sounded like an airplane was landing I my house every time we did a load of laundry. I bought a ten year warranty in 2011, so I called and spoke with DOROTHY, who was wonderful. A few minutes later I had an appointment for a repair technician to come to the house five days later. The technician that came out was awesome (unfortunately I don't remember his name) and ordered the parts, advising me that they might cost more than the washer was worth, and the store might offer a replacement instead. I received an email with an order number, but as of 3/22/20 I had not heard anything else. It had only been a few days, but due to The COVID-19 Pandemic, I knew the store would close for an undetermined amount of time on 3/23/20. I went to the store and MONICA approached me to assist. I explained that both my husband and I are first responders and need a washer to clean our uniforms. MONICA immediately understood my dilemma and worked quickly. P.C. Richards decided to give me a store credit based on my warranty and cost of repairs. I ran home, got my old washer, and exchanged for a new one. The ENTIRE process was less than one hour! Knowing I can wash my cruddy uniforms during this mess is priceless. Everyone from start to finish was fantastic! Thank you MONICA and P.C. Richards! UPDATE 3/27/2014: PC Richards called me on the Yelp review. In an attempt to make good, they provided me a $75 gift card. It took about two weeks to receive. I went to the store on 3/26. I've heard that the sales people are on you like white on rice. I heard right. It's like playing frogger to avoid them. I found the store to be cold and a bit disorganized. It does not have a modern feel. It was tough to look through everything looking over your shoulder for the horde of salespeople attempting to "help" you. I'm doing a comparison to Best Buy, which I really like. It's really tough to browse at PC Richard as the store does not invite you in. I don't have a way to describe it better than that. So you get a bump up from 1 star to 2 for the effort made to make things right. But that's it. I used my gift card on an external hard drive, of which they had very little selection. It was also behind glass. I needed this as my old one died. I won't be back. I'm more of Amazon and Best Buy guy. UPDATE 3/10/2014: PC Richards now has a Yelp reviewer who is trying to make things right. They reached out to me today about my review. I'm concerned they are getting to this well over a year later, but let's be open minded and give them a chance. I received a very generous gift from my in-laws of a washer and dryer. We purchased from PC Richards & Sons because the items were on a great discount. 12/1/2012 was our scheduled drop off, installation and removal of the old items. We were told to expect a call for drop off time as early as 6:30am. We did not receive the call until 7:00pm. The dispatcher said it was a "rough day" and they could not get the washer and dryer to us until between 9:30pm and 10:30pm. You read that right, at BEDTIME FOR MOST PEOPLE. As I planned on traveling Sunday 12/2/12 and will work during the week, I bit the bullet and said we'd stay up and wait. Guess what? THEY NEVER CAME!!!! THEY NEVER CALLED!!! And now the website does not show a status. Were are our items? Where they delivered to someone else? Now what do I do? A bit of background. I am in a leadership position for a cable company that dispatches people to install services. We don't dispatch after 5pm because in the winter its a danger to the employees. The idea that a company would dispatch employees at 10pm on a cold night where ice conditions exist to move extremely heavy appliances tells a lot about a company. 1. They have no respect for the safety and working conditions of their employees. After a full day of lifting and removing appliances, what type of energy will these employees have at 10pm? In icy conditions? In the dark? How safe is this? The message always comes from the top and management must be sending a message they respect for employees and customers is lacking. 2. Their customer service is awful. In customer service, there are a lot of "rough days." Especially in cold, icy conditions. YOU DON'T SAY THAT TO A CUSTOMER!!!!! This tells me that management does not have a culture of excellence. They have a culture of sell at all cost and your hands are clean once you have the money. And please, PLEASE I BEG, JUST CALL AND TELL ME YOU ARE NOT COMING. You can call and say, "we experiences issues out of our control and though we promised a delivery today, we need to reschedule. When is most convenient to you. And, WHAT CAN WE DO TO MAKE THIS RIGHT?" I blame the management. I'm not sure if this is at the top, at the district level or just the store. I tell you what....I'm sold on this place! As you read in the other reviews, it's kind of a strange experience. It's not your typical electronics / appliance store with normal pricing. Instead you come in here not really knowing what you're going to pay. You can totally negotiate the price...which, again, is kind of a weird feeling when you're buying something like a dishwasher. That said, in the end, you walk out with a pretty good deal. The reason for the 5 stars is for the GREAT customer service we received today during a delivery / install of a new stove, dishwasher, and microwave. The install company showed up and realized that the store had never given us some of the equipment needed for the installation. Seemed like a bummer at first, but they called up the store and our salesman (Saqib was his name) actually DROVE the items out to our house (30 minutes away...during rush hour....in his own car) so that they could complete the job as scheduled. Customer service at its absolute finest! Most companies would have rescheduled for another day, but these guys accepted responsibility and made it happen. I visited the Manchester store, against my better judgement as I've dealt with them once before and it did not go well. So, I bought a new stove, my first time ever being financially stable enough to buy new instead of second hand. It was delivered Saturday. It was damaged during delivery, not wanting a damaged brand new stove, I called the store. While on hold for over twenty minutes the delivery people just left, leaving me with a stove I didn't want. I finally got to talk to a manager and he set up a delivery date for the following Tuesday, which didn't work great and I had to make arrangements to make sure someone was here. The time window they gave me came and went. No delivery. I called the store and no delivery was ever set up. I called the store and was in the middle of explaining my situation when the guy who answered just put me on hold. I was on hold for fifteen minutes and decided to just hang up and call back. I got a lady on the phone who is the first person I've dealt with at this location that was remotely professional aside from the original salesman. She told me the delivery was never set up so I made arrangements and sat home for five hours for nothing. I told her I would like to cancel the sale and have someone pick up the stove. She said they couldn't do that. So now I'm stuck with a broken stove that I'm afraid to use because I have no idea if there are frayed wires. I left it in the hands of my husband to deal with because I'm pretty passive and he's full hot ready to sue. We never accepted delivery of the damaged item, the delivery people just left it. So I will either have to wait until they decide they want to deliver a new stove or just eat $900. This location will never see another dime from me. Which is too bad for them because I was going to order two through the wall air conditioners and a new refrigerator. It's pretty sad that this is how business is conducted now a days. Companies like Sears are rolling in their graves for the unprofessional treatment towards customers and piss poor delivery of damaged products. I could forgive this oversight if it were the first time it had happened but I also had issues with this company peak Covid with overcharging by $400 of a freezer. Since face to face sales were not allowed at the time I never got an actual receipt until I got the credit card bill. It took them four months to straighten that out and my credit score was effected because I wasn't paying $400 extra dollars for their mistake. After they finally fixed it, they closed my credit card without telling me which also effected my credit score. I should have known better than to deal with these people again. I'd never even step foot in this store until last week but so glad we did. Our dryer had been on the fritz and we figured we'd replace it before we were SOL. We went to best buy first and found the dryer we wanted but figured we'd shop around before making a purchase. I heard that PC was having a great sale so we stopped in. I was blown away by how organized and clean PC seemed in comparison to Best Buy. The layout of the store was appealing to the eye and didn't seem crowded like most of these stores seem to be. We were greeted by a salesperson but he wasn't annoying or anything. He just asked us what we were looking for and since we pretty much knew what we wanted he just helped us with the purchase. We paid, went over the delivery process and were on our way. We were in and out in no time which is just what I like! Not only was the service in the store great but delivery process was seamless. A day before the delivery I received a call confirming it and the day of d I received a call first thing in the morning to confirm the window. Unlike most places, they came right at 10, when the window was 10-1. That's what I like to see. They hauled our old dryer away, setup the new one and we were in business. So impressed with service from start to finish! We will definitely check out PC next time we need a new appliance, electronics etc... They have a new customer for life! read more

You can definitely tell and see why Carl is the general manager at that location. Give Carl a lot of credit going out of his way with his top customer service skills to keep a customer. If I could give a 0 I would. Unfortunately for me (and fortunate for PC Richard and Sons) I have to give them a 1 star review. My wife and I ordered a dish washer online. We bought the install kit (hoses and wires), old dishwasher removal and paid for the installation of our new dishwasher. Our delivery date was today, May 25 2018. The delivery team just left our house and we made them take the dishwasher back and we cancelled the order. Why? Because PC Richard and Son mislead when you purchase online. Upon arrival we were asked why our dishwasher was connected. We explained that we purchased the install package and it said if we did that we did not have to disconnect the electrical or water. The delivery team explained they can only deliver and that a separate team installs. We asked where that team was currently. The delivery team made a call and it was explained that there was no delivery team. We made them take the new dishwasher with them when they left. My wife called Internet Sales and cancelled the order. PC Richard and Sons sells services they can not follow through on. This seems to align with several other reviews I have read today. My wife and I would rather cancel this order and buy from Best Buy. We were going to have to wait regardless so at least my HARD EARNED cash can go to a company that provides good service and delivers to the customer what they actually purchased. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. My Samsung range was installed on Sept 25th. The installer broke the Power Burner when trying to install the propane adapters. He called it in, explained that I would need a new burner. I called PC Richard in Manchester, CT where I purchased the stove and they said they would order the part for me. On Oct 19th, I called to find out what the status was, and no one was able to tell me if the part was actually ordered. After several back and forths, I was told the part was definitely ordered this time. On Nov 1, I called the store again and they had no update and no idea when I would get my stove fixed. Finally, I received a call back from the store and they said that the Samsung rep would be contacting me. The rep finally did call today - Nov 12 - to say that they were going to send someone out to look at my stove and determine if I needed a part. When I explained what happened, it was confirmed that yes, I would need a new part. So now, supposedly, my part is being ordered. This is RIDICULOUS. It is now almost TWO MONTHS since my stove was installed and I am still without a working burner. Next week is Thanskgiving - am I really going to have to cook a meal for 8 adults on a half working range? And I did go ahead and spend the money to buy the extended warranty, which apparently gets you NOTHING. read more

This was my first time coming here and it was fun to walk around and check everything out but seeing how almost everything was overpriced made it really annoying. Don't waste your time on the video game section, you can get a better deal on practically anything that is being sold here on accident just by randomly shopping somewhere else. I recently shopped here for the first time - picking up a new TV, some associated cables, an antenna, and a Roku box on two separate visits. In both cases, the salesperson was attentive, did not try to sell-up or oversell the extended warranty, and carried my larger items to the car. It was a refreshing (albeit a bit old school) shopping experience compared to Best Buy. When I went back today to return an HDMI cable I did not end up needing (no hassles there), I decided to buy an A/C unit (they have a lot of stock and the prices are good, especially considering how hot it's been) and again - good sales experience, a quick carry out to the car. The store has a bit of a dated feel to it (the salespersons, the purchase process, online purchase process, etc.) as compared to Best Buy but it works. I'll definitely shop here in the future. read more

The only store in our area that will co-ordinate install and remove built-in a.c . People on this site complain that salespersons are aggressive to sell, but I wanted to talk to a salesperson and very helpful. I came into the store to specifically purchase an a/c. Sales personnel state they do receive a commission so they have an incentive to be somewhat aggressive. The product I purchased has a 1yr warranty including labor if it fails which to me is a good deal. read more

I have been shopping here since they first opened in Manchester on and off. I have a really hard time giving this a number of stars because sometimes it has been good, but my last visit this weekend was the end for me. The salesman for appliances was Mike, who is fantastic. So nice, patient, and explained everything in great detail. He actually helped me pick the washer and drier I ended up getting.... I got it at Best Buy however right across the street. Why? Because the manager, with short dark hair that has also been there since the start couldn't be more of a jerk. When the couple in front of me was haggling a little bit on the price (which you can do), Mike kept going back to the manager who was watching very closely from far away. I couldn't help but to hear the couple was spending over $5000 on various appliances, and basically was asking for $150 off. He kept berating the really nice salesman for even asking him to take anything off. He swore loud enough for me to hear him many times from about 25 feet away. When it was my turn, the manager came back over to Mike, to say right in front of me (and I quote), "those mother f'ers went through all that to save $150"... They just spent over $5000... I excused myself and went across the street.... PC Richard, has a decent stock, SOME good salesmen (although a couple are semi obnoxious), and the biggest scumbag of a manager you will ever see. If they dump him I would consider going back. I will add he has never done anything to me in the many times I have shopped there, but time and time again he acts like a piece of you know what to the customers. There are several very good associates at this store. Every time I shop I always have great service. Matt is the representative that I usually buy from. He is professional, courteous, well groomed and full of information. Any questions I have are always answered quickly and thoroughly. Bought an portable washer from P.C Richards. The salesman asked if I wanted get the warranty for 5 years at $200 more. Sounded like a good deal. Was told they would come out to fix the machine. Well 3 years into the warranty the machine stopped working. Called P.C Richards service department and was told the machine was not covered under the warranty and they would not fix it,. But I could have a local repair shop fix it and submit the bill, And P.C Richard "MIGHT " reimburse me for the repair. Smoke was coming from my ears when I heard this. WHAT. So wrote an email to P.C Richard corporate and spoke to Marcel. After a few minutes of working with him , he agreed to send me a new machine. Delivery came like 7 P.M. the delivery guys didn't even want to set it up and I don't think they knew what they we doing. After they left I tried to do some wash the next day and the machine sounded like ball bearings where rolling inside the machine. I called Marcel again He sent out another machine and this time the delivery guys cracked my facuet , Had to have that replaced. This machine was defective as well. It leaked around the hoses and water was on the floor Finally went to the Manchester Store and talked to an associate , He was very rude and told me that they would not replace machines as that wasn't what they do. Finally said BLEEP THIS and left. I went to Best Buy , the delivery guys were very professional , made sure I was happy with the set up with the machine. They say never buy the extended warranty from stores and now I learned my lesson . P.C. Richards has the worse customer service in my opinion and they don't honor warranty's that they sell. Went here looking for a refrigerator and was approached by a sales rep Mark in the appliance section. We chatted quickly about the limitations our kitchen presented and he had 4 or so options. One option he was the only one to point out, and we shopped every store in Buckland Hills. Laid back and not supper pushy. Delivery could have been as soon as next day, but we were able to tell them what was preferred. Got a phone call 30 minute before the product arrived. Drivers were efficient and polite.
