He didn't hesitate took me in like he knew the layout. No looking around. I told him the items I needed, whip, bam, boom. On the express line self check out. Which I don't do but he was in charge so I let him do his thing, he is on the clock. Out of the store I'm record time. I entered at 11:55 I was out at 12:15 I got 3 items- milk, egg, 5 packs of water! Headed back over the Throgs Neck within no delays. Pro tip here. The express self check out are fast and the lines move quick.

However, things would run much more smoothly if the pump configuration was better designed. It can be difficult to maneuver in the tight conditions. But overall, only a slight inconvenience and worth the extra few minutes. Wholesale Store: There was a time when you couldn't beat the prices. That's no longer true. There are many items that are actually overpriced and cheaper at some of the better supermarkets. The meat department has always been much lauded for quality and price. Quality is still at the same level, but the prices have skyrocketed. While this is true everywhere in 2026, Costco was always known for their prices being lower than anywhere else for comparable products. I can buy rib steaks at my local butcher for less than Costco's current prices. This was never the case in years past. The price per pound for a rib roast is the same for rib steaks. That is never the case anywhere else. You pay more for a primal cut being broken down. I do my own butchering, so I always buy the entire rib section, and always for a few dollars less per pound. Now for the good (and there's much more good than bad): The store (Kirkland) brand is top quality across the board. The quality control is top notch, so you can always feel confident about purchasing any new item you haven't tried yet and be pretty sure that you'll be getting a good quality item. The lines can get quite long, but they move surprisingly fast. Customer service is very competent and the people are always pleasant. The store layout is pretty intuitive, however some items seem to be misplaced. You sometimes have to ask an associate where you can find a particular item as it's not shelved where it would make sense to you. But there's no shortage of associates walking around, so not a huge problem. Overall, a very nice and clean store. Lots of good bargains aside from the meat section.

Clothing, furniture, housewares, small appliances, food stuffs, hardware, health & beauty products and toys are all closeout surplus sold at pretty reasonable prices and mediocre quality. Cava was its most recent grand opening and I'm so happy they are adding healthy option places. There is always security present and walking the mall. During high peak season they don't hire extra help to sort any congestion in parking lots and security for extra added attention to detail. Cross county is great on holiday festivities and love food drink market they have throughout the year. Great Prices and safety while shopping is so important and I definitely feel safe shopping here. We were on line one, that cashier closed and we were the last ones on that lane line. There was a man In front of us, by the time we got to the cashier, the man in front of us paid and left and then the cashier instead of taking us next he took a woman who was standing on the side, the woman claimed she is a co-worker and she needed to pay for her items. When we questioned it and my mom asked what this is, I have been standing so long on a long line , what is this preference. The lady who was paying stated loudly "I work here" So, my mom stated to the cashier that "it isn't fair no matter a worker or not, it isn't right I had to stand all that time and not to be next to pay for my items" I even stated that it " this isn't right for the elderly and senior citizens to wait on a long line to pay just to get to the cashier and make that person wait so they can check out a co worker who just walked up to counter." The cashier pretended not to hear us, he ignored my mom when she was questioning his actions to why he didn't take us next and took his co worker who just walked up on the side with her items instead. All he kept stating was " $21 ma'am" he did not answer to the question she asked. He just ignore what she was saying. Very Very rude. We left everything we were buying behind due to the rudeness and obnoxiousness. Just very upset due to how things went I was always a good and loyal customer. I will not be going to Dollar Tree anymore. The Dollar Tree used to be an A+++++++++ store, but it seems very sloppy now and never seems to be stocked with items that are needed. Very disappointed on how this Pelham Dollar Tree has become.
