She had a combination of mostly coins with her to the total of $5.91. She wanted to buy a small bottle of honey, but she ended up being 8 cents short. Apparently, the cashier called out to the manager, telling him that she was 8 cents short. When this manager approached, my daughter said she felt very nervous at first and was going to check the stop and shop close by, but then he said it was okay and they would sell it to her anyway. Forgive me for laboring on this, but if you want to make a mother very happy, be kind to her child!!! When she got back, I gave her some more money to return the 8 cents as she is learning money management, and while this was such a wonderful and kind gesture, I wanted her to know she has to account for how much she needs when she goes to the shop. Sam, thank you so much for being so kind to my daughter! You warmed my heart, and it is good to know that there are still very nice and caring people out there. Also, for the lady who wanted to pay the extra for my daughter, thank you so so much! This walgreens is a very nice and cozy place to visit. Always very clean and the staff are usually very nice.

Then the guy who works at the counter told me they only had a partial fill of my prescription and when I told him I was leaving town and couldn't pick it up later he just ripped up the paperwork without any communication. He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder about a problem they were responsible for. I'm gonna look for any other pharmacy in the area that will take my insurance.

The medical receptionist was knowledgeable and I was able to discern myself information about the medication I was given. This is the first time I've used this pharmacy. Walgreens has just about everything you might want or need. Walgreens was a life saver for me today. Strategically located in this shopping center where I came to get food, I was able to kill two birds without one stone, metaphorically! I found this particular Walgreens store to be spotless and neat, while providing very wide aisles. A herd of elephants can fit through these aisles, with no hesitation. The person at the register was kind and greeted me when I entered but failed to provide exemplary customer service by not asking me to input my number. I could have lost $3 in savings on this trip. Since I was the one to initiate me putting my number, I was able to save money with a healthy bit of change. I'm always inspired to save and cut costs. Walgreen came through for me today! The staff explained the situation and was helpful, they explained to me what my options were because the prescription could not be transferred. I was understanding because with the other location being closed, I'm sure every patient in the line was a patient from that location and they looked very understaffed so I did not mind waiting the 20 minutes. They gave a call to my doctor and got a new script, filled it, and helped me so politely. Great service. I may end up coming here instead of McLean from now on.

The woman who gave me the shots did not hurt me and asked which arm I wanted it in. She explained what to expect and if X happened do Y. It was quick. They do have a lunch hour so give a quick call to check if they accept your insurance and their hours. The store itself was nice enough but I prefer cvs for those types of goods. (Cvs does not accept my insurance). There was a parking lot and it is in a good area with many places to eat or shop around as well.
