But we saw that they had a burger with raclette cheese and that was enough to make it unique! Asllani's specializes in burgers but they have other options if you're not interested. Given that there's a couple thousand reviews on Google, I would recommend getting there early if you have a large group. They don't take reservations and there was already a line before the restaurant opened. Since we had a large group and it was a nice, summer day, we opted to sit on the patio under the shade. The burgers are kind of expensive, compared to the US, but they're big. For an extra 8 CHF, you can make it a combo with fries or salad and coleslaw. I didn't know you could actually pick truffle Parmesan fries for the combo and ended up ordering it separately. The burger itself was really good and I'm not sure if it was the raclette cheese. I think even with any type of cheese, the burger would've been just as delicious. I mean, our entire group had different types of burgers and they all really liked theirs. Highly recommend if you're in the area! It's a nice break if you're trying Swiss cuisine everyday. A couple of notes though: they don't take Amex credit cards and they'll charge for tap water.

We ended up ordering take out as that was a 30min wait. My friend and I got the cheeseburger. He got the side of fries and I got the salad. They both were delicious. The menu states "fries or salad, includes coleslaw" but there is no coleslaw. It's more fries, salad, OR coleslaw". My other friend got the Raclette burger and he devoured it. The burgers are a VERY good size. I was only able to eat half of it. Again, make sure you make reservations.

Surprised this place didn't have any reviews! For my English speaking friends, I wanted to show you…read morewhat we ordered to help you see a bit of what this place offers. But to summarize first, this place is amazing! The food was delicious and gave us a great peak into Swiss culture. We ordered coffee drinks to start off and they were great. A little pricy, but that seems to be Switzerland in general. The coffee was decent and other members of my family loved their latte macchiatos. These won't be the exact names of the dishes (since my German skills are non-existent ) but we collectively ordered the tuna sandwich, the pork sandwich with garlic cream sauce, the schnitzel plate, and the sausage with hash browns. Literally everything was incredible, although I'll say the sausage with hash browns meal felt most authentic, if that's what you're looking for. I'll attach pictures so you can get a peak as to what the finished product looks like. Just so you're aware, the sandwich portions are HUGE. So they will definitely fill you up. The service was quick and the waitress walked us through the Swiss (German) menu item by item, which was super nice of her. Also, the view of the lake and the mountains while you eat is just spectacular. I will never get over the views in this town. Loved this place and really glad we took the chance on it! Let me know if you do too!

Restaurant is pretty large; it has 2 sections with plenty of seating. Dishes ordered (+drinks): -House specialty drinks -Rioja red bottle of wine -Sweet potatoes vegan dish -Spinach salad -Green salad w French dressing -Pan-fried trout -White chocolate cheesecake -Lemon sorbet -Chocolate lava cake All of the dishes were delicious, seasoned as described on the menu. I really appreciated that they had a section on the menu dedicated to those with food allergies. What a brilliant idea!! Waitress was attentive. Since it was New Year's Eve, we were entertained by a traditional bell march of about 15 individuals banging huge bells. It was pretty cool. Lasted about 2 minutes. The staff could have been a bit warmer. Perhaps the language barrier was a factor. Also, adding small plates for the bread on the table would be a good idea.

I was highly anticipating this…read morerestaurant because my paragliding guide, who has lived here forever, recommended it, but Interlaken surely has a few better Swiss food options and this is not one of them. If you care about the actual food, skip this place. I care about food far more than service, and this place was a huge disappointment. I ordered the beef stew, which my waitress recommended, and the meat was unbearably dry and chewy, not even the gravy could save it. Seriously, it was the worst-quality beef I can remember having at a restaurant. The Pinot Noir was excellent, but that was the only highlight. I had a reservation for 9 and showed up early at 8:45. On the phone they had said the kitchen closed at 9:30, but when I arrived no one attended my table until 8:58, when the waitress rushed over and told me the kitchen closes at 9. Meanwhile, the table next to me placed their order at 9:15 without issue. There was no silverware on the table, and I was never checked on once after my food arrived, which was very frustrating. The most frustrating part is that my meal for one person, including the dish and two glasses of wine, was $50 Franks. For that price, I expect far better quality. I expect better, truly. Please refer to photos for the dry beef stew meat.
