Stopped by during the art walk to grab dinner. We were asked if we had reservations and said, no and were told it would be about 20 minutes. It was about 5 we sat towards the back by the bar. There was music and so much to look at while we perused the menu. I ordered a beer and salad and others in my group ordered cocktails and tacos. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the whole experience. The entire restaurant is absolutely huge!

We started the day here before going to mass and just needed something to calm our hunger and get us ready for a day of strolling and shopping the the heart of old town San Jose del Cabo. A great indoor/ outdoor place and we San in the enclosed courtyard with beautiful plants and a refreshing breeze. The had live music, which was not so loud we couldn't have normal conversation. Chips and salsa with a large order of guacamole was enough to start our day off in the right direction without overeating. They had a buffet going and the fare looked tempting, but I know that it would have been my downfall had I opted for that! Maybe another visit is needed...

One of the best restaurants in arts district. Quality mexican food, fresh chips and salsa. Gorgeous indoor dining with strong A/C, charming patio with exotic landscaping and decor. I recommend the queso fundido, and their refreshing aperol spritz. We came for the art walk, and discovered this gem walking the area. Service is great too, everyone speaks english

It was an easy walk from the art district. We went for breakfast. Beautiful Mexican restaurant with Christmas decorations still up. The entrance is beautiful as you walk in. It's a pretty deep restaurant once you walk in. We will welcome in and greeted. Our server was patient while we looked over the menu. I ordered a mango smoothie. It was cold and tasteful. I tried the pineapple and it was too foamy for my liking. I ordered the chilaquiles and they tasted great. My husband had the machaca and eggs and imo it tasted gamey. Overall, good experience.

We were on a cruise ship excursion in San Jose del Cabo. Our tour guide recommended this restaurant because they can serve lunch with a limited menu very quickly. I ordered the Stuffed Chiles, and my husband ordered the Arrachera Tacos. One of our friends also ordered the Stuffed Chiles, and his wife ordered the Crispy Chicken Tacos (taquitos). We were served chips and four kinds of salsa immediately, along with some yummy margaritas. Our meals were served incredibly fast. Everything was absolutely delicious! The women's restroom was beautiful. It's probably the prettiest bathroom I've ever seen in a restaurant. Each meal cost $18 USD, which included the drink! What a bargain! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here. You will not be disappointed!

Enjoyed this local spot! The food tasted authentic, and it wasn't over priced. I would def go back just for the chips, guac, and salsas!

This place never disappoints, we ordered from the house specials and it was chef's kiss. I only have photos to prove, the ambiance was perfect, gave me all the feels

Great Visit to Jazmin's. My family visited on a Thursday for dinner before the art walk. Service was great even with it being very busy. The food was all excellent! Everything had great flavor and was very hot when arriving to the table. I loved all the different salsas that they brought along with the chips. The octopus tacos were great, but very greasy, so use those napkins accordingly! The restaurant itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. They also had live music. I just want to note that this establishment was not wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Baja Fish Tacos: Pricy but delicious.

Upon arriving in San Jose Del Cabo, we chose Jazmine's for our first meal. The restaurant setting is very nice and elevated from the street. Regarding the menu, it is robust with many Mexican favorites. We ordered the fish fillet tacos and beef enchiladas. The fish fillets were thick and delicious, and the enchiladas; especially the sauce was very good. Regarding the service, our server was friendly and efficient. Although the food and service was very good, it was expensive for lunch. There are several other equally good options nearby at a more reasonable price for lunch.

Beautiful restaurant with HUGE portions! They bring complimentary chips that are fresh and crispy. We ordered the queso with flank steak, very cheesy. The surf and turf molcajete and grilled steak with tamales plate. Everything was delicious and service is fantastic and friendly. Clean bathrooms and nice cocktails. The flan was one of the best we've ever had!

A ton of food and flavor. Carne Asada

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. The Margheritas were on point and the cheese was real in the queso. The portions are fairly large so bring your appetite. Our main dishes were good, the shrimp lacked flavor but the bread was amazing. My carne Asad dish was great but too much for one person. The tortillas were absolutely incredible. Gabriel Breto was our waiter and was jonny on the spot when needed. We finished with the less then impressive churros. The live music was fantastic and the atmosphere of the place was pretty awesome. There is a front portion that is more "outside" seating and then there is the internal seating where the roof is removable Highly recommend.

I will start by saying that I came here in 2020 and I thought the food was amazing. However, I think the place has either changed ownership, or there's just something different about it . This is an honest review. The inside of the restaurant is very nice. They have a small gift shop, which has a bunch of really cute things. The bathrooms are very clean. They have a cute mirror to take selfies. Food, wise, the menu has changed. They basically don't do substitutes for meats. We ended up eating the appetizer, which was the nachos. And it was amazing! I decided to order, the first fish on the menu. I believe it's called fish Taxji Our server told us that this was a famous dish from Yucatán. However, the dish itself smelled very fishy and it didn't even come with rice you had to ask for a side of rice. The beans were sweet, which was interesting flavor Wise, and not my favorite. My best friend and her brother both got enchiladas, and they asked for red enchiladas. We then talked to the server because we thought they gave them mole enchiladas, since the red sauce really did not taste that different from Mole. The server came back to tell us that the enchiladas were the red sauce because they had added adobo to it. Now, I think this spot is a cute spot to go for appetizers and drinks. However, the food was not as good as I remember it, when I showed the server a picture of the old plate that I had to got in 2020. He told me that they changed the menu, and that things are different now. Which is completely OK. I get it. Vibe wise, I will say that our server was very attentive, and he was very good to us. I suggest you go here and get drinks because the drinks were very good. Also, I recommend the nachos. They were also pretty good. Anyways, I think I would come back to the spot because the service is very good, however, I would definitely limit it to drinks and appetizers. In the end, our server told us that our meal was on the house, since it was my friends birthday and We did get to try the cake dessert, and it was delicious.

The last time we ate here was in 2024. We were in a tour group of about 12. There were dancers entertaining us and the food was good. Fast forward to 2026, we came back and there was a 40 min wait. They showed us in but no table was ready. The 3 of us were just standing around, all in the waiters' way. Of course the restaurant was full and busy. Finally we were lead to our table and gave us the menus. A group of musicians were serenading a table next to us loudly. A waiter informed us that they would give us a bigger table. I was already set but my husband wanted a bigger table. My daughter left earlier for the restroom and I opted to just stay put. The musicians turned to us and I said no thanks. The table next to us were super loud, probably buzzed. The atmosphere just felt too chaotic. We placed our orders and the wrong kind of tortillas were delivered. Ruben, who must've been the head waiter came to our table and apologized profusely for the wrong table. He was engaging and made us feel comfortable throughout our dinner. If it weren't for him, I would have given this place a 2. The food was decent, but the nachos tasted bad and the place was too loud and chaotic for me that night.

We had our wedding there so these are my sentiments on that. From start to finish, the team went truly above and beyond. Mariana, our day-of planner, was exceptional-- calm & proactive. She anticipated needs before they arose and ensured the entire day flowed seamlessly. Ernesto, the property manager, was equally incredible. He guided us through the wine selections with care and expertise and was hands-on throughout the reception--circulating among guests, refilling glasses, and making sure everyone felt taken care of (perhaps a little too well, in the best way). The execution of the wedding was flawless. Everything we envisioned and described was brought to life exactly as we had hoped--if not better. Dinner was a dream: a long, elegant table set beneath the passion fruit vines, surrounded by the sounds and scents of the farm and garden. The reception under the stars felt intimate and enchanting. Mariana recommended soft lighting along the path to the restrooms so guests could move safely and comfortably--a small detail that speaks volumes about the level of care. She even set them up for us as we brought some beautiful Luminary bags from the states - guests loved this touch. Our guests could not stop praising the venue's natural beauty. The smells of the garden, the warmth of the farm, and the effortless elegance of the setting made the evening unforgettable. Dancing all night in the banana grove is a memory we will carry with us forever. The vibe was natural and authentic, unlike some other venues that seem commercial - so this fit us perfectly. We are endlessly grateful to the Tamarindos team for creating such a meaningful, stunning, and joy-filled experience. This venue is truly special, and we cannot thank them enough.

We were so excited to see these guys at the Saturday organic market and to hear they have a cafe in town. At the market we had just the daily water (watermelon ginger--yum!) and intended to visit the cafe to check out the full food menu. At the cafe it was hard to choose given many options, but I went for the Fila dog made from lentils. Other dogos included chickpea, soy or tofu. My partner had the Bulldog black bean burger on their newer menu. Both came with freshly cooked non-greasy fries, and we also shared a half order of the teriyaki cauliflower "wings". The dog was flavorful, wasn't mushy and the half cherry tomatoes on top gave it a nice freshness. It was a smaller dog, and my dad helped me eat my fries, so I wasn't too full (the burger was larger for a bigger appetite). We each had the canela (cinnamon) tea--nice flavor, not too sweet and refreshing. My dad (not vegetarian) had already eaten but said he will definitely come back another time on his own. The owners were so friendly and gave suggestions when we asked for help choosing. We only come to SJdC once a year but I am already looking forward to a return visit to Beach Dog!

I stumbled across this place on my month long Cabo vacation and by far this was my favorite 'hole in the wall'. The place is run by a young Mexican chef Cynthia and her food is magic! She weaves modern presentations with 'grandmas recipes' to create beautiful food! The first time I visited there was just one other patron there at the time and I sat down at the 'family-style' table they had near him. I was fixated on the dishes he was eating... let's just say he was happy-happy Cynthia's boyfriend (Carlos I think) greeted me and we began to chat; he was a DJ and seafood chef that had recently decided to move back to Cabo and help Cynthia make her magic. We chatted a bit about Cabo, the local restaurant scene, tourist scene, urban tourism, and music... basically, I felt as if I was visiting a friend at his restaurant getting the low-down of the area. After a while, it was time to eat and I asked Carlos to pick a few things for me.... I wasn't disappointed!!! (By this time ts was just Cynthia and Carlos and I) First, there was the 7 hande made hot sauces .... the ones with the nuts are to die for... Cynthia explained that most of the sauces were from the part of Mexic she grew up in, but that a few of the others where with peppers from where Carlos grew up. Then Cynthia began to bring me several small dishes (that I hadn't even ordered...) each one was more amazing than the next (see photos) I guess I bugged Cynthia so much that when I got up to leave she brought me a few little to-go containers with some of the dried peppers she used to make here salsa's with instructions how to make them on my own... as well as a recommendation and direction to the local spice market for a bigger variety of spices. They even offered us some complimentary chips and a variety of fresh and tasty salsas. The cactus tacos and guacamole was also nice. They had nice decor and wall artwork that added to the charm. Would recommend stopping by for a taco or two if you're in the area.

Wow! What a great experience we had at La Lupita Taco and Mezcal…read more This is a taco place. Don't expect any else on the menu except soup & salad and a couple of apps & sides. There is an indoor area or outside courtyard you can choose from. We had the pleasure of working with several Staff members including our main waiter, Marco as well as Ivan and Miriam. They were all so fun and attentive. They brought us a small serving of soup as an appetizer. My husband had a taste of the tortilla broth which had a little kick to it and I had the bean soup. Both were a nice sampling of the soup they offered. We ordered the chips & huac to start. The chips were thick and crispy. The guacamole tasted super fresh and bright. Now, the tacos are some of the best tacos we've ever eaten in MX or the US. The creativity and variety of toppings were outstanding. I really enjoyed the EL TAKESHI 190MX Rib Eye, Sesame, Hoisin, Ginger, Chives, Crispy Shallots, Flour tortilla. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor they developed was delicious. I also ordered the MEXICAN FLANK STEAK $150MX. Fresh Chiapas Cheese , Arugula, Crispy Leek & Potato, Macha Sauce, Yellow Corn tortillas. All these flavors worked so well together. One of the tastiest tacos they have on the menu is a cheese based tortilla taco called CHEESE CRUST PASTOR $100MX. Talk about a flavor bomb. Marinated Pork, Asadero Cheese Crust, Cilantro, Onion, Pineapple. My husband also ordered the CHIPOTLE SHRIMP $165MX. Shrimp, Chipotle Cream, fried parsley, flour tortilla. He loved it. For my Arizona friends, they will be opening a Scottsdale location in 2027. I can wait. Add this to your must try restaurants. Also, they just opened a location in Dallas Texas.
