We didn't have a reservation but were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. Our table was right next to the bar, so we got to watch the drinks being hand-crafted, which added to the experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful--definitely a great spot if you like taking photos. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, and a standout touch was the chef coming to our table to explain menu items and offer recommendations. The Caesar salad was delicious, and honestly, everything we tried was great. It is a bit on the pricier side, but the overall experience made it worth it. We had the most special experience at Jazmins Restaurant this Easter... my fiancé proposed here and I honestly could not have imagined it being more perfect. They sat us inside with all the flowers, which already felt so romantic and intimate. Our server, Max, was incredible. Like truly one of the kindest people. He went out of his way to make everything feel special, and even took a bunch of photos for us during the proposal which I will forever be grateful for. After, they brought us champagne to celebrate which was such a thoughtful touch. We also had the chicken fajitas and margaritas and both were so good. Honestly, this has already been one of our favorite spots when we're in the area, but now it means so much more to us. Stopped by during the art walk to grab dinner. We were asked if we had reservations and said, no and were told it would be about 20 minutes. It was about 5 we sat towards the back by the bar. There was music and so much to look at while we perused the menu. I ordered a beer and salad and others in my group ordered cocktails and tacos. We started the day here before going to mass and just needed something to calm our hunger and get us ready for a day of strolling and shopping the the heart of old town San Jose del Cabo. A great indoor/ outdoor place and we San in the enclosed courtyard with beautiful plants and a refreshing breeze. The had live music, which was not so loud we couldn't have normal conversation. We were on a cruise ship excursion in San Jose del Cabo. Our tour guide recommended this restaurant because they can serve lunch with a limited menu very quickly. I ordered the Stuffed Chiles, and my husband ordered the Arrachera Tacos. One of our friends also ordered the Stuffed Chiles, and his wife ordered the Crispy Chicken Tacos (taquitos). We were served chips and four kinds of salsa immediately, along with some yummy margaritas. Our meals were served incredibly fast. Everything was absolutely delicious! The women's restroom was beautiful. It's probably the prettiest bathroom I've ever seen in a restaurant. Each meal cost $18 USD, which included the drink! What a bargain! Great Visit to Jazmin's. My family visited on a Thursday for dinner before the art walk. Service was great even with it being very busy. The food was all excellent! Everything had great flavor and was very hot when arriving to the table. I loved all the different salsas that they brought along with the chips. The octopus tacos were great, but very greasy, so use those napkins accordingly! The restaurant itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. They also had live music. Upon arriving in San Jose Del Cabo, we chose Jazmine's for our first meal. The restaurant setting is very nice and elevated from the street. Regarding the menu, it is robust with many Mexican favorites. We ordered the fish fillet tacos and beef enchiladas. The fish fillets were thick and delicious, and the enchiladas; especially the sauce was very good. Regarding the service, our server was friendly and efficient. I will start by saying that I came here in 2020 and I thought the food was amazing. However, I think the place has either changed ownership, or there's just something different about it . This is an honest review. The inside of the restaurant is very nice. They have a small gift shop, which has a bunch of really cute things. The bathrooms are very clean. They have a cute mirror to take selfies. Food, wise, the menu has changed. They basically don't do substitutes for meats. We ended up eating the appetizer, which was the nachos. And it was amazing! I decided to order, the first fish on the menu. I believe it's called fish Taxji Our server told us that this was a famous dish from Yucatán. However, the dish itself smelled very fishy and it didn't even come with rice you had to ask for a side of rice. The beans were sweet, which was interesting flavor Wise, and not my favorite. My best friend and her brother both got enchiladas, and they asked for red enchiladas. We then talked to the server because we thought they gave them mole enchiladas, since the red sauce really did not taste that different from Mole. The server came back to tell us that the enchiladas were the red sauce because they had added adobo to it. Now, I think this spot is a cute spot to go for appetizers and drinks. However, the food was not as good as I remember it, when I showed the server a picture of the old plate that I had to got in 2020. He told me that they changed the menu, and that things are different now. Which is completely OK. I get it. Vibe wise, I will say that our server was very attentive, and he was very good to us. I suggest you go here and get drinks because the drinks were very good. Also, I recommend the nachos. They were also pretty good. Anyways, I think I would come back to the spot because the service is very good, however, I would definitely limit it to drinks and appetizers. The last time we ate here was in 2024. We were in a tour group of about 12. There were dancers entertaining us and the food was good. Fast forward to 2026, we came back and there was a 40 min wait. They showed us in but no table was ready. The 3 of us were just standing around, all in the waiters' way. Of course the restaurant was full and busy. Finally we were lead to our table and gave us the menus. A group of musicians were serenading a table next to us loudly. A waiter informed us that they would give us a bigger table. I was already set but my husband wanted a bigger table. My daughter left earlier for the restroom and I opted to just stay put. The musicians turned to us and I said no thanks. The table next to us were super loud, probably buzzed. The atmosphere just felt too chaotic. We placed our orders and the wrong kind of tortillas were delivered. Ruben, who must've been the head waiter came to our table and apologized profusely for the wrong table. He was engaging and made us feel comfortable throughout our dinner. I dined in at Jazmin's on Saturday afternoon with a group of 7 adults and 2 kids. We waited about 15 min for a table, which isn't bad at all! We were sat in the AC (thank goodness!). We were lucky to enjoy a fantastic Sunday breakfast buffet. The spread included 8-12 main dishes: molletes, enchiladas, alambre de res, chicharrón en salsa verde, pollo adobado, chorizo con papas, chiquilla, and frijoles refritos. With such a variety, there was something for everyone to enjoy. I particularly loved trying different dishes, especially the fresh, made-to-order quesadillas. It was a delightful experience to watch them being prepared right in front of me. We came here after walking around the Art Walk area. It was hot outside, but we still chose to dine outside on their patio. The service was fantastic at first, until it came time to pay. We waited a while, and then we asked for our check and still had to eat some time. Probably a good 30 minutes of waiting. The food was very delicious though. They started us out with chips and salsa. They give you four salsas and they all tasted phenomenal. I also ordered a traditional Margarita which tasted very refreshing. My wife ordered their Cochinita Pibil. It was sever with fried plantains, rice, xnipec sauce and grilled pineapple. The pork was very flavorful and paired perfectly with the grilled pineapple. I ordered their Carne Asada Tampiqueña. This came with flank steak, a red cheese enchilada, cebollitas, frijoles, arroz, molcajete salsa, and a cactai that I did not touch. It was also served with a side of tortillas. The dish itself was very filling and everything tasted delicious. The carne Asada was very tender and seasoned well. The enchilada had good flavor as well. There's a lot of places to choose from in San Jose del Cabo. I'm not exactly sure if I would return next time I'm in Cabo, but I would still definitely recommend trying them out. read more

Food was ok. We had called days before to make reservations because we had not been to the art festival and heard it gets packed. Reluctantly we took the ONLY reservation available at 2:45pm... it wasn't even half full until around 5pm. Even then plenty of seating. We sometimes take our visitors to San Jose here. The decor is traditional Mexican - very festive and colorful. The service is excellent. The servers operate as a team and support each other very well. The menu is large with the usual Mexican specialties. There were mariachi musicians the night we were there. If you sit outside on a Thursday night during the Art Walk, there are dance performances on the street. The food I think is just OK. If you're used to traditional Mexican food (not the Tex Mex stuff) you may find the flavors lacking and bland. We did. But overall, it's a pretty and festive restaurant. read more
