Beautiful venue. Staff were eager to please. Food prices seem reasonable (US). We made a reservation at noon but they took us in half hour early (we were the first customers there). There's a circular herbs maze garden that marks the entrance steps up to the restaurant. Wow! Country dinning experience and the food is exotically city.

Food FANTASTIC!!! Ambiance very nice. Service 12/10. If you are looking for farm to table they are great. It's actually better than Flora farms which is also great. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first meal in Cabo and certainly won't be the last. There's several farm-to-table restaurants grouped together with Tamarindos (Acre, Flora Farms, etc.), but this one definitely stood out with its peaceful, breathtaking natural landscape. I'd recommend coming for dinner so you can catch golden hour. Also would recommend walking through the grounds before/after your meal - they have a rooftop with views of the city, and you can go down to the gardens as well. Great for pictures. Food/drink recs: - Guava juice: this the best drink I've had in my life. So natural, fruity, refreshing... perfection. - Vongole pasta: one of our favorite dishes of our entire Cabo trip. - Sashimi of the day: forgot what the fish name was, but it was so fresh and tasty. It came with chips that were seasoned to perfection. Soo good. - Catch of the day guajillo - Grilled octopus Cornish hen and cauliflower were okay - don't think I'd get them again. The first time the Cornish hen came out, it was still raw - luckily they cooked it more and brought it out again. It wasn't very busy on a Sunday night. Servers were friendly, attentive, and helpful in suggesting what to order! Overall, such a pretty venue with amazing food. Would highly recommend Tamarindos if you're visiting Cabo!

They only had a brunch menu, I looked at both the brunch and lunch menu online before going and they were outdated. I had delicious ceviche, oysters and pie de guayaba for dessert, also had a chicken mole sopè, I wouldn't recommend the sope as it was tiny.

Hospitality is at its best. Food is great. Prices are at par. Location/ambiance is superb. What else do you want?? Oh, also a great venue for weddings and big parties, hands down! Keeping this location on my list ;). I'd come back for sure. Whether it's for their melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake with a side of ice creams (I was special and got to swap it for a different flavor given the waiter recommended all of their ice cream). I'm sure their classic vanilla would have been great as well. For my first time at San Jose Los Cabos, and south Baja, I'm impressed and will be back. No doubt.

Don't let the drive here scare you! Yea the roads is gravel and feels like you are driving to no where, But trust me it's worth it. Once you get to the restaurant you will be amazed at how beautiful this place is. The layout and ambiance is breath taking. It's farm to table concept and the restaurant is on a farm. You can walk around and check the gorgeous venue. Bar is set outside and you can sit here and enjoy a variety of cocktails. Staff are amazing and super helpful from the minute you walk in. Every single person has a smile and eagerness to assist. They cater for nut allergies which is always a win for us. Inside the restaurant is gorgeous the layout and decor gives you a magical vibe. Omg now let's talk food! Lamb came with blue tortillas which was juicy and flavorful, catch of the day, fish was on a bed of hummus, never had this combo before and it did not disappoint. Appetizer we had blue fin sashimi with spicy tortilla this was bomb!!! It was on a bed of salad with ponzu sauce nothing here disappointed. We were too full for dessert but the options a sounded delicious. We will be back for sure for great service and yummy food.

Lamb with green mole and chayote pearls

We were greeted warmly when we arrived and that level of attention continued throughout our two hour lunch. The farm to table location is amazing. Beautiful farm and garden view. Service was leisurely at our slow pace. Appetizers were very tasty - eggplant pomodoro and beet salad with yogurt. The flavours of both so fresh! I had the lamb with green mole. The chayote pearls added a nice crunch. My beloved had the suckling pig- declared it moist, tender and delicious! My beloved uses a wheelchair- no walking for him! They were most thoughtful and accommodating in that regard (there is a ramp up to the restaurant but less than ideal) recommending we stay in the bar area for lunch. Which we happily did! We also brought our small dog. High maintenance folks or what? Anyway, they were happy to have him stretch out on the floor. We finished with me and our doggy talking a walk through the beautiful grounds and herb garden. A special afternoon for sure. We hope to return!

This is a review of online booking through open table. You can't cancel your reservation without a charge. I booked on open table months in advance but then we changed our plans so I needed to cancel (still months in advance) but I could not do it on open table. Yes I understand that this is mentioned in the fine print in the booking flow, but this is not a friendly policy. Also the charge is hundreds of USD!!! Restaurant wasn't responding to my messages via opentable but I had to call several times and finally they cancelled it.

One of the best dining experiences (emphasis on experience) that I have ever had. They welcome you with a fresh tea with a view of the farm. Then you move over to the dining table where between dishes they serve you seasonal samples of soups etc. You truly feel welcomed and at home. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and tasted phenomenal. The drinks were so delicious, I highly recommend the purple basil margarita that has basil straight from their garden. The hospitality here was incomparable. They provided bug spray since you are on a farm. The servers went above and beyond to do everything they could for a excellent dining experience. This is not any ordinary dinner spot.

Great dinner and fun experience. Went for my 40th bday. The steak was amazing! The corn tortillas were absolutely perfect and smelled so good.

We booked a cooking class for our family of four. Chef Erwin was incredible! It was just us, we chose our entire menu. We made guacamole, salsa verde, mezcal shrimp, birria and chocolate tamales. Yes, all of it! We looked at Flora Farms...you make one item based on the day of the week you book. We learned so much from Erwin. I can confidently make so many dishes based on the basics he taught us (to seed and cook dry chilis, make an adobo sauce, roast veggies for salsa, & the magic sauce (a chimichurri like starter). Key to know is that Flora Farms is US started, and Acre is Canadian. If you want to support the Mexican community and learn authentic Mexican cuisine-please visit Tamarindos. The kitchen is in a historic building, open air with views at every angle. We did the afternoon and ate on the patio as the sun went down. The restaurant after dark is breathtaking

Burnt rosemary. Cactus. Palm trees. Open fields. Farm to table. Laughter. Summer scents. Middle of nowhere vibes. Tamarindos is a special place not like any other. It's the type of place where you want to say your "I do's" at. Actually, even if you've already said them you'll want to do it all over again at this very amazing place and property. Everything about it is so inviting yet so unique like no other. It's the perfect place to have a big event at or even a more cozy, intimate, dinner party with all the farm to table freshness. Rosemary is always burning and fills the scent of this open space. Even the restrooms are a vibe! We came here for rosemary tamarind mezcalitas and didn't exactly get the drinks we requested but we were still happy to be sitting on the open seating area where they have the cute seats/couches near the bar. We wish we could've stayed for dinner but already had made dinner reservations elsewhere. Despite this being a busy night, we were squeezed in and got to enjoy our drinks and the vibes. This is the type of place you never want to leave and can't wait to come back!

There is an indoor area or outside courtyard you can choose from. We had the pleasure of working with several Staff members including our main waiter, Marco as well as Ivan and Miriam. They were all so fun and attentive. They brought us a small serving of soup as an appetizer. My husband had a taste of the tortilla broth which had a little kick to it and I had the bean soup. Both were a nice sampling of the soup they offered. We ordered the chips & huac to start. The chips were thick and crispy. The guacamole tasted super fresh and bright. Now, the tacos are some of the best tacos we've ever eaten in MX or the US. The creativity and variety of toppings were outstanding. I really enjoyed the EL TAKESHI 190MX Rib Eye, Sesame, Hoisin, Ginger, Chives, Crispy Shallots, Flour tortilla. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor they developed was delicious. I also ordered the MEXICAN FLANK STEAK $150MX. Fresh Chiapas Cheese , Arugula, Crispy Leek & Potato, Macha Sauce, Yellow Corn tortillas. All these flavors worked so well together. One of the tastiest tacos they have on the menu is a cheese based tortilla taco called CHEESE CRUST PASTOR $100MX. Talk about a flavor bomb. Marinated Pork, Asadero Cheese Crust, Cilantro, Onion, Pineapple. My husband also ordered the CHIPOTLE SHRIMP $165MX. Shrimp, Chipotle Cream, fried parsley, flour tortilla. He loved it. For my Arizona friends, they will be opening a Scottsdale location in 2027. I can wait. Add this to your must try restaurants. Also, they just opened a location in Dallas Texas.

The live music was fantastic and added so much to the overall vibe. From a setting standpoint, it's hard to beat. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the ambiance. The menu was extremely limited and incredibly overpriced. There were no kids' options at all, which was surprising given that they have such a great activity area clearly geared toward families. We ended up ordering a $40 USD pizza for our 6-year-old -- which feels absurd. I make pizza at home on our Ooni that's just as good, if not better, for a fraction of the cost. It's hard to justify those prices, especially without a smaller or kid-friendly option available. The least expensive glass of wine was $32 USD, which felt excessive. We also happened to visit during a seasonal menu rotation that heavily featured tomatoes, capers, and pork -- three ingredients my wife (whose birthday we were celebrating) doesn't care for. Unfortunately, they don't publish their menu in advance, so we didn't know this until we arrived. To their credit, our server recognized we weren't thrilled and brought over a manager who was very kind and professional. He offered to buy my wife a glass of wine and send over ice cream for our son. However, our son has a nut allergy, and we were told that every flavor made onsite could be cross-contaminated with nuts -- so he wasn't able to enjoy that gesture either. It's disappointing because this is a place that appears to cater to families, yet it feels both difficult and very expensive to bring children here. The setting and atmosphere are beautiful, but for us, the value and overall experience just didn't match the price point.
