The most beautiful and whimsical restaurant in Barcelona. They have a carousel at the entrance and it's named after Dalis wife Gala with Dali inspired decor and a nose fountain in the patio. The food and service were amazing! read more

Not only was his service incredible, but he also gave us amazing recommendations for our upcoming trip to Buenos Aires in two weeks. The food was hands-down our best meal in Barcelona. Every dish felt authentic and full of flavor. Our favorites were the accordion-style baked potato topped with creamy aioli and spicy sauce, and the truffle brie toast, which was completely out of this world. To top it all off, the meal ended with a shot of local acorn liquor as we toasted Jordi, our other server, which also made the whole experience feel so special. And shoutout to Flor behind the bar for the fantastic margaritas and sangria! Thank you, Sabastian, Jordi, and Flor for making our Barcelona trip so unforgettable. We'll be talking about this meal for a long time!

The inside of this place js small but has great decor, you feel like your stepping back into medieval times. It's perfectly at home in the gothic quarter. I had the bread to start with the tomato spread, this was very good. The spicy potato was phenomenal, a smothered baked potato in a nice blend of sauces. Then the sea bass and prawns in a coconut milk based soup...the star. Reminded me of a Thai Tom Kha soup. Overall would highly recommend. If I ever return to Barcelona, I will stop in.

A highlight from the trip. The classic vermouth with a bartender's artisanal spin. 5 stars great!…read more Lovely mid-afternoon service from my bartender when I entered an empty bar. "Let me guess, you want a vermouth?" the bartender said. She was right and the classic red vermouth was exquisite. They make their own vermouth in house and the result is a cocktail-like libation that is more complex than your generic pour around town. Also had the white vermouth which again, house-made, and equally interesting. Bartender was eager to show they did more than just vermouth so I had a gin cocktail which was refreshing. Alas my heart is still with the classic red vermouth. Tiny and cosy space but Story is totally worth seeking out!

My Greek salad was very authentic and was as good as any salad I had while I lived in Greece. Very fresh vegetables, great Feta and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp scampi under the Tapas menu with garlic was equally good and oh so tasty. The smallish inside restaurant is best described as rustic and a tad warm. Instead I opted for the outside dining area, which has just a few tables but offered a very pleasant ambiance in the small side street this business is located on with low foot traffic and a very nice breeze on the warm day I dined here. The relaxed dining on the outside is definitely the way to go here especially during the summer months. From a negative standpoint, certain aspects of the service were too slow. I was seated pretty quickly upon arrival but I waited a tad bit too long to get my order in. Once ordered though, the food came pretty quickly on a positive note. However, for all intents and purposes the service stopped at that point where I had no follow up and literally had to walk inside the business to get my bill. Overall, the dining experience was still great for me slow service aside as the quality of the food and outdoor ambiance far outweighed the negatives. I would say if you are in a bit of there rush you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a relaxing dining experience with great food than this business will be definitely fit the bill!

They could benefit from a bit more banana or fresh fruit to balance out the stack, especially given the size of the dish. The English breakfast was excellent, well-cooked and satisfying, and the side of chorizo stood out as particularly flavorful. Coffee was genuinely perfect, easily one of the highlights of the meal. The overall vibe is a classic European café style, relaxed and comfortable, good for a casual sit-down breakfast or brunch. One important note: this is not a place for traditional Spanish food. If you are looking for local Catalan or Spanish breakfast or tapas, this will feel more international than authentic. The raspberry mojito was great - I would definitely recommend it! The octopus and truffle ravioli were tasty as well.
