Probably one of the best meals we had in Portugal so far.
Our server Fatima was the best, she was attentive, gave us great recommendations, and very professional. We enjoyed her service very much.
I was not hungry yet I ordered more food as what we had was delicious.
We shared a green salad, Ossobuco Croquettes and Sardine Rissoles with Fresh Tomatoes Chutney, Small Loin of Iberian Pork, 'Sopas Secas' from Mirandela (traditional dish from the north, Mirandela, literally "dry soups", a recipe made with bread) and Country Vegetables , and Gnocchi, Truffled Pepper Sauce, Sage and Cherry Tomatoes (vegetarian).
Everything was fresh and very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the champignon and tomato sauce from the gnocchi.
Fatima recommended a white light wine, which went well with the food and time of day - before 3pm.
We had a lovely late lunch literally around the corner from our hotel. read more
