Nice location, yet unusual buffet set up. Eggs scrambled and left out to get cold, although they had plenty of warming bins. I was excited to see mushrooms, but they had an odd flavor, like they had been soaked in something like a sweet sauce. Otherwise, a mixture of typical fare (donuts, bread, cereal, bacalau, leaf lettuce and tomatoes, pasta, etc.). I would not agree that this has 'everything one can imagine...seems run-of-the-mill.
AFTER we sat down and ate, I ordered coffee, only to get cold coffee. I ordered another small coffee, and staff was sent out to tell me I only could have one hot drink and one cold drink. Strange, as I ordered water and never got it. My partner got one third of a glass of tap water, even though we asked twice for mineral water and got no hot drink. A drink limit is not listed anywhere, nor are the prices posted.
We had to agree to pay extra on to get another COLD cup of coffee that sat in a decanter for hours. Would rate as 2.5 stars, though I cannot leave an in-between rating. Perhaps offerings are better for dinner.
Service seemed more focused on figuring out how to charge an extra euro and limit beverages (like water or HOT coffee) than providing accurate service. No one noticed that I never got any water, for instance. read more
