We ordered the Brussels sprouts, the smoked wings with Thai chili sauce, the pulled pork sandwich, the hangar steak, and the burger. All were great as were the fries. The service was above and beyond. Also, they had some great specials on cams to go that we took advantage of. 10% off for dining at the brewery, a free branded glass with every 3 4-packs, and a free bottled stout with the purchase of a case.

It was around that moment, I realized I should have gone to Equilibrium. Two months later, I was again traveling through Middletown and I planned my day around visiting. The space was cool. Lots of wood. Cool large Einstein art as you approach the building. Lots of inside seating with natural light. Outside seating and smokers for BBQ. I ordered two 4 ounce pours as a way of informing my can purchases. Photon, a Pale Ale. And MC Squared, a Double IPA. Both were very good. Reminded me of the ales at some other top breweries. I decided to buy a 4 of MC Squared and I asked the person working if there was anything special that they had in cans. She recommended Mmmosa, which is a pale ale with orange flavor. I tried it and it also was very good. I didn't eat, but I note that Equilibrium really seems focused on BBQ. Something to research before you visit. 4.5 Stars

We've visited a lot of breweries and tried plenty of craft beer, and this one has quickly made its way to the top of our list. The brewmaster, his wife, and their partners are some of the nicest, most welcoming people you'll meet. The beer is outstanding -- especially the new pilsner and the hazy IPA, which are some of the best we've ever tasted. The laid-back backwoods atmosphere is both relaxing and fun, and they even have activities for kids, which makes it great for families too. So far, the live bands and food vendors have been excellent additions to the experience. I'd absolutely recommend taking the "goat path" into the woods to check out this amazing brewery. We'll definitely be back.

The eggs were cooked just enough so that the yolk was just slightly runny. It also came with home fried potatoes that were crispy and perfect. I honestly can't say enough about how good the sandwich and potatoes were. My son said his burger was very good also. It looked like a nice size burger on the same type of roll. Our waitress, whose name in the chaos I forgot, was extremely kind and patient. As someone who has worked in the restaurant business, I understand how overwhelming and sometimes annoying large parties can be, especially with kids and strollers, but at no point in time did she make it seem like we were overwhelming her. She was cool, and collected the whole time. The ambience was perfect after a long day and the food was delicious.
