A country setting strewn with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. Making it a very nice place to hang for a while. Especially, that they often have live entertainment. First of all, the beer flights are only $7, the downside is all beer is served in plastic cups, but the pours are nice size. They do have wine but nothing that this wine snob wanted, lol. I ordered two 4 ounce pours as a way of informing my can purchases. Photon, a Pale Ale. And MC Squared, a Double IPA. Both were very good. Reminded me of the ales at some other top breweries. I decided to buy a 4 of MC Squared and I asked the person working if there was anything special that they had in cans. She recommended Mmmosa, which is a pale ale with orange flavor. Dark As Your Soul is an Imperial Stout that Steve and I enjoyed. With it's roasty, sweet and smoky flavors this strong tasting beer definitely hit the spot. Brewed with seven malts, oats, dark wheat and fermented in a Scottish yeast this stout us perfect for the chilled, rainy days of winter and was a great fit for my craving for these beers during the cold months.

DUBCO is a brewery based on Long Island and this second location, on sprawling wooded grounds, is absolutely awesome! The beer selection is varied and good, both on tap and by the can. Food-wise, there was pizza and some snacks in-house, but they also bring in different food trucks and outside food vendors. The Octoberfest catering was provided by Trattoria Italiana GWL on the day we went, and the grilled chicken and sausage & onion sandwiches we had were both delicious. The place is spacious both inside and out. There are ample outdoor seating and picnic tables, or you could lay out a picnic blanket on the grass. Family friendly too - the ladies room is large and has a changing table which I appreciated. Picturesque, chill and relaxing, with great beer and food, and things to do in the area.
