We visited Casa Mia for a family lunch and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Even though the restaurant was busy setting up for a party, the staff was incredibly accommodating and found us a table by the bar. While it was a bit loud due to the preparations, the energetic atmosphere didn't take away from our meal. Our waitress was exceptionally nice and attentive, ensuring our drinks arrived quickly and that we had everything we needed throughout the afternoon. The food was truly the highlight of the visit, as every dish we ordered was delicious. The Ropa Vieja was a particular standout--flavorful, tender, and very well-prepared. We also shared the steak sandwich, a classic Cuban sandwich, and both the boneless and bone-in chicharon de pollo. Both versions of the chicken were crispy and seasoned perfectly. It is clear that the kitchen takes great pride in their cooking, and we really appreciated the friendly service despite how busy they were. We will definitely be back! read more

What needs to be improved greatly is the CONTAINER that are used for your PERNIL dish. By he time it's delivered the juices and oil are ALL over the inside of DANG bag which dips all over every thing when you take it out of the bag. SNAP top should be used for items like that. Enjoy the time with the family. The chicken mofongo was really good with a decent portion for the price. I don't remember what my hubby ordered (2nd Pic) but basically it was Mangu with eggs and a porkchop. Thats also taste delicious. The service was very good. We arrive there 45 mins after they open and the restaurant was still cold on the side they sit us... Temperature on that day was very cold itself. We were glad that they manage to provide a space heater for us in the meanwhile. Restaurant is beautiful, and I would love to come back in the summer for an outside seating. read more

THEN as we were leaving this other waitress who was in a rush was trying to rush down the stairs past my dad and basically pushed him and he almost fell down the stairs. The waiter I had was very nice and did his best to explain the menu item I was not too familiar with it, plus recommended items and when when I ordered two meals, since I thought the soup would be small he informed me the soup was very large and filling, so i got the rice dish to go and he not only had already bagged for me, but had a small portion of it made and set to the side for me to have with my main meal. The Latin fried rice with chicken was very good, reminded me abit of chaufa which is Peruvian fried rice. The rice was well flavored and plenty of chicken, only two things that were not great, is chopped celery in fried rice and chicken bits were bit dry, otherwise amazing. For the sancocho soup, which was very filling like my waiter said, plenty of chicken bits, not so much beef though, and good amount of potatoes and corn. On my to go list Casa Mia Latin Kitchen didn't disappoint. We met up with visiting family for brunch Saturday, the place was pretty much empty, I believe we had reservations but did not needed them. They have mimosas but not bottomless which is a bummer, specially when going for brunch. The tres golpes was delicious as well as the steak and eggs was a hit at the table. I would love to go back and just seat outside on a warmer dry day as they have plenty of outside seating with umbrellas and some also have fire tables with chairs round. First time eating Casa Mia food. Ordered for delivery. Service was prompt and good. Food was okay. I ordered shredded beef with sweet plantains, yellow rice and pink beans on the side. My friend ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and cheese and a tres leches cake. The serving size was good. Unfortunately the food really lacked flavor, not what I expected. My friend was not thrilled about the flavor in her meal either. Will probably not order from there again. The selections look good, I may give them one more chance some other time. read more

The place is so cute with seating outside and good music. However, the food was okay. Rice and beans were good. Too many onions on top of the chicken and the pernil. It was all just okay for me. The portions were a good size for leftovers. I ordered to go and the food was ready as soon as I arrived. However, the containers did not contain the very liquidiy chicken and pernil and I ended up with grease/sauce all over everything. It was a pain to clean up. I would suggest putting the meats in something that actually seals shut and doesn't bend out of shape so easily. read more

Went there for a girls dinner, my friend ordered the pernil. What was served was not pernil, it was pork, sliced thick, (picture a pork chop) with red sauce on it. It was tough and fatty. The waitress went back to ask the kitchen what happened and simply said... it was not pernil, but did not offer more explanation. This was my 3rd visit to Casa Mia and I've never been disappointed with my food. Authentic Latino flavors, with some interesting twists in preparation and/or presentation. Excellent service, and the art reflects aspects of Latin American culture! My 3rd visit won't be my last. read more

Went to this restaurant on a recommendation last week Wednesday. While I wasn't a fan of their pernil, the Bacalaitos were good and the Mojitos were amazing! I went back today (Friday) and brought my daughter with me. We sat in the bar area and I ordered fried pork chops that came with some kind of red sauce which I found strange but I ate it. I also order a classic Mojito and not only did it not taste good, it was literally served with rotten mint and old lime that was turning into lemon. I mentioned it to the Bartender whose name I think was Maria and she seemed annoyed even with me showing her the rotted mint. She offered to make another one and I agreed. The 2nd drink came out with more rotten mint and at that point I just decided to pay the bill and leave. I think it's a shame that you pay $13.00 for a drink and it was served the way it was. I also saw a man who ordered an Old fashioned and she made it look like a Shirley Temple. This may seem petty but I find it really strange that this is a Latin restaurant and they were playing 104.7 in the bar and Spanish music everywhere else including outside. Been here a few times already and have had: Sancocho White rice red beans with steak or salmon and chicken stew. Maduros, tostones, mofongo Empanadas All very good. I've ordered out and dined in as well. The place is welcoming and dishes are tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you're near by. Some weekends they host events where they have a DJ and okay awesome music, from freestyle to merengue salsa and bachata. Drinks are great too. I look forward to visiting again. read more

I would rate this place a 3.5. Went for dinner with my extended family. We were excited upon arrival, loved the whole Latin feeling. Indoor & Outdoor dining with good music. It kinda fell apart with our server. He was polite, but very young and indifferent. We were missing several plates with our order. My appetizer, my brothers main course & my mothers beverage. The server took our order & then he was gone not to be seen unless we went looking for him. We had to ask someone to look for our meals, ask for forks & extra water. Neighbor got seafood paella for us and it would have been great if it weren't for all the shells broken into little bits throughout the rice. FINALLY! I moved out here from the city and I'm hooked on city food especially my Latino food. I am extremely picky when it comes to food out here because not many places are good but this was by far really great Latino food! The mofongo was so good and my family also loved the food and we all left soooo joyful and full from the food and their service was so sweet and fast.
