He ripped us off and did not do the job he was hired for. There's a reason he has older reviews and nothing within the last four years. I advise anyone who comes across this review to look elsewhere. He will harass you nightly over the phone or for nothing at all. He will also reinforce his "customer service" and perform at a poor/mediocre level of service. Do not trust a word this man says. Avoid This Landscaping Company - Unfinished, Poor Work & Overcharging…read more I hired True Depth Servies, with the owner Shakir, for three projects: 1) tilling and adding soil, 2) installing sod in a muddy dog play area, and 3) building garden beds. Unfortunately, my experience was a complete disaster. * Soil Tilling - This was barely done and left in a sloppy, uneven mess. They didn't even start tilling until 4 or 5 in the evening, and only after my wife and I went out with a shovel to check if it had been done. It was clear they had not started until that moment. The quality of work was extremely poor. * Sod Installation - The job was never fully completed. The area is still missing grass on all sides, and instead of addressing the issue, the landscaper claimed the sod supplier "gave extra sod" and then tried to charge me more unexpectedly. To make matters worse, the amount of sod left on-site--still sitting in my yard--is exactly enough to have finished the job. Yet, they left without completing the work. * Garden Beds - While they looked okay at first, the landscaper failed to put down a layer of sand before finishing. After we had already paid him $2,500 just for this part of the project, he casually mentioned, "Oh yeah, I might add some sand to the soil." We were incredibly unhappy with this lack of professionalism and oversight. To make matters worse, the landscaper was difficult to work with, unprofessional, and even intimidating. I asked if that was something her company could help with. She said she would send someone to take a look. A gentleman, who introduced himself as the owner of the company, came to my home and looked at the stains. He said he thought the carpet should be steam cleaned, but his big truck was out for repair and he would have Tabatha call and set up an appointment with me to get the work done. Tabatha never called. A couple days later I called the company back and asked if there was a problem, explaining my situation. The receptionist apologized and said she'd have someone get back to me.
