I was told field techs would return "tomorrow" multiple times, but this didn't happen, causing 1 week delay in mitigation. Office staff seemed disorganized and not focused on my case, creating additional delays. Staff didn't get my email address, then didn't get my insurance claim number, then didn't contact my insurance company. Phone staff not able to answer basic questions like, "Does your team work on weekends or will I have to wait until Monday?"

There has been NO CARPET CLEANING service provided. On or about 12/2/25 I spoke with Tabatha at WaterBear, explaining that I had some wine stains on a small area of carpet. I asked if that was something her company could help with. She said she would send someone to take a look. A gentleman, who introduced himself as the owner of the company, came to my home and looked at the stains. He said he thought the carpet should be steam cleaned, but his big truck was out for repair and he would have Tabatha call and set up an appointment with me to get the work done. Tabatha never called. A couple days later I called the company back and asked if there was a problem, explaining my situation. The receptionist apologized and said she'd have someone get back to me. No one has called me or been in touch. And today I get this invoice. I am pretty grossed out at the level of customer service, or lack thereof. Just to be clear, this invoice will not be paid. There was no service provided, no phone call to set something up, and no follow up by your company. I will find someone else to do the work.

Absolute insurance scam. After their "sister company," Robertson Restoration, charged us $17,800…read morefor remediation (they were on-site within 2 hours of the initial issue, so there was no mold or damage to walls) BCC wanted to charge $20,000+ for drywall and paint. We could have remodeled the whole kitchen for that price. They were rude on the phone, to the point of claiming that their executives have no extensions or direct lines when I wanted to complain. You can't find their people on LinkedIn or ZoomInfo - they know they are fleecing insurance companies. For the record, you're in one mental state when an emergency occurs. You'll use Google to find that solution, thinking you're in good hands for the finish work. The remediation was indeed done quickly, but the repair is a completely different animal. $20k bid for drywall & paint. No. Do not go with BCC because you think they are the only "finisher" for the project. Not the same company, even though they are probably owned by the same group. We chose a different company for the finish work, and they were able to complete the job before BCC could even get a budget approved by the insurance company. That's all you need to know about how these guys work.

Premier was good at packing out our belongings, but the actual restoration work on our home was…read moreterrible. We've had to redo multiple things more than once. They sent non licensed electricians to perform electrical work, and afterward we had loose and faulty outlets in several places. When we raised concerns, they said they would not fix them. They also hired very low quality contractors for repairs. At one point, I asked for only the garage ceiling to be painted black, and instead they painted all of the interior ceilings in my home black. When I objected, they tried to convince me to keep it. They eventually repainted the ceilings back to the original color, but they did not even remove hardware like dome lights and door hardware, so black paint was still visible underneath. When they told us the house was ready to move back into, many things still did not work. The garbage disposal was clogged, the dishwasher was clogged, the washer and dryer were not connected or plumbed correctly, the bathroom ceiling fans were not working, the doorbell stopped working, the fridge ice maker stopped working, and new garage outlets they installed did not even work. They blamed some of this on pre existing issues, but these problems appeared after their work. I also found that they billed insurance for work that was not actually completed. About a year later, I discovered they had never installed attic insulation as claimed. They only came back to do it after I caught it. Later, when the dishwasher clogged again and overflowed through the air gap, I checked under the sink and found a large kink in the garbage disposal hose from an improper installation. This was another example of careless workmanship. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone using this company inspect every claimed repair very carefully and verify that the work was actually completed. Good packing service does not make up for poor restoration work and questionable repair practices.

He came in with his steam cleaning machine for the tile flooring in the bathrooms and he used great cleaning products on our hard wood flooring, material window blinds and windows. He made everything shine! The huge and very tall windows alone, would have been an enormous task for anyone, but he did all the work with a smile and an efficient and hard working attitude. He spent an entire day and then came back another day to complete the long list of items I had requested that he do. (The extra dat wasn't in our original plan but he wanted to make sure everything was completed as arranged...I was impressed!) Overcharged and sent a guy who didn't know what he was doing. He came out for service call $255 and…read morepulled the toilet off $300 extra. He used a power snake and said we were all good. He spent a while here so they charged another $100. He left and the toilet overflowed again. True to their word, he was called back for no charge. They took the toilet off again and did the power snake from the septic system. This seemed to do the trick, but he recommended we call AAA septic since our system was full. If this was the end, I would have rated them well. I found a leak in a pipe and instead of fixing while here they said, just wait and see if it stops. It didn't and they came back and charged another $250 for a service call for a 10 minute job to reseal the pipe. Then AAA came out and drained the septic for $800. They were going to come back and flush the system. When the did, they relayed that the city should have done this for free and they can't touch the system. Neither AAA or ServPro recognized this so that's why it's on this review. I had to have another plumber come out, scope and flush the line for yet another $600. Something that should have cost $750 ended up costing me a few thousand. When I called to complain, Grant never called back.

Both were knowledgeable, professional, respectful (wore face masks during COVID pandemic) and thorough - putting us immediately at ease about all of our worries. In the end, they were careful to only tear down the minimal amount of drywall necessary. Erica in the office handled the insurance and helped us through the process.
