They came out to our place to give an estimate on a bathroom addition. I received a call from Kim about a week later saying they were waiting to talk to the plumber about the project, and that they'd have the estimate over to me shortly. Over a month went by, still no estimate. I called and texted, Kim said she'd look into it and get back to me. It's now been 2 months with no follow up. They arrived precisely at the time they were scheduled to arrive. They attacked each project with skill and expertise; plumbing, electrical and restoration. We had Matt come out and give us an estimate to fix the damage done to our house after a tree fell on it. He was really nice and told us that although he was very busy, he's fit us in when he could and at least get our roof done since the rain were coming. Our insurance co wanted more info regarding the estimate. I called, our insurance co has called many times, with no response. We have been waiting at least a month. I called Pat last week and said that we would pay out of pocket, forget our insurance co., we just really need our roof fixed. He said that he'd ask Matt and get right back to me. We are still waiting. I'm bummed about this, they both seemed very professional and were nice. read more

I read the reviews on this site, and decided to hire the Taskman to do a few small projects in my home. I called Pat on Feb. 29th 2016, he ask me to email him with a list of what I wanted done, and I did so that day. Almost a month pasted, and I had still not heard back, so I emailed again. Later that day Kim, from the office, called me, and apologized for not getting back to me in a more timely fashion. She asked to set up a time, and date for someone to come to my home, and give me an estimate. It was set up for 8:00am, on Monday, April 18th. As luck would have it, I had a last minute opportunity to go to the coast on for a long weekend. I went, but returned early so I would be there when they arrived at 8:00 on Monday. At 7:20 the phone rang, and someone named Matt said they wouldn't be coming. He gave me some excuse, which involved the owner, I don't remember what exactly. He told me that he would just give a estimate over the phone. Two days later Kim called me, and it we agreed that the work would be done on April 29th. From the beginning it was understood that I had a deadline by which the work needed to be completed. So with that date secured I planned the rest of my schedule. Now today, after talking with Kim, I am told that they can't come on April 29th. Again, many excuses are given, and she wants to reschedule. I now have zero faith in this business, they have dropped the ball three times. What assurance do I have that they will show up on another date? I'm bidding them farewell, and will begin a quest for a business that is reliable. read more
