She was a wonderful assistant, a true asset to the office, and a real loss when she left. I always enjoyed my visits, and I appreciated watching how confidently Dr. Martinez worked. Things changed when Mary joined the office. I felt she was not honest with me about scheduling, and I brought my concerns directly to Dr. Martinez, hoping he would address the issue. Nothing changed. Later, when I needed another dentist to review my records, I asked Mary to transfer them. She was impatient, told me she would take care of it, and never did. That incident made my decision clear. I wish Dr. Martinez had taken my concerns seriously when we spoke, but because nothing was done, I will not be returning to his office. I have since found another dentist whose office is just as skilled and far more caring and friendly. In my opinion, Mary hurt his practice, and it is unfortunate that the problems were not addressed when they were brought to his attention.

Her service from beginning to end definitely made up for some small things that occurred at check-in time. For that I want to send out a much deserved, "THANK YOU" to a very professional, patient, and expert hygienist -- "Christina" for taking such great care of me and my son. WAITING ROOM (3-1/2 stars) The waiting room is stylishly decorated with modern seating, a mini fridge full of bottled water, and a Keurig. However, I found the furniture arrangement a bit disconcerting. After opening the door to the waiting room to enter, I was greeted by two chairs back to back, set in the center of the floor. I had to walk around them to make it to the desk, and it left me wondering how awkward it would have been if they had been occupied by waiting patients. The waiting room is a bit narrow, so I can see how that arrangement may be the only way those extra chairs could be added, but I definitely found it awkward. CHECK-IN (3-1/2 stars) Admittedly, things were a bit confusing at check-in, as I guess I was supposed to do a bit more to arrange the delivery of my x-rays from my former provider; however, the staff was eager to help and worked around that situation until I could get in touch with my former dentist to have the x-rays sent over. NHD explained that they'd recommend that we wait to have my records sent over, so that I wouldn't repeat any services that I'd already received, and avoid being charged by my insurance provider. I definitely felt as if they were looking out for my best interests, despite any inconveniences to their scheduling. E-DOCUMENTS & E-SIGN (4-stars) I completed the necessary 'paperwork' on an iPad, which was convenient and easy -- very user-friendly. Then, I was called up to the front to sign after verbally listening to more policies. I would recommend that a very simple "what to expect" be given to each new patient when they arrive -- something like, "So, we will have you fill out the majority of the paperwork on the iPad, then call you up to have you e-sign a couple of additional items. Once that is completed, we will be calling you back right away." I am not an audible learner, and would have appreciated a screen to look at while the receptionist read the document that I was expected to sign. CLEANING & TREATMENT (5+++ stars) Since this is what really matters, I've decided that this is the most important piece and what I based the 5-stars overall on. The dental tech was polite and professional, and she quickly answered all of my questions. Once my x-rays were completed, I was greeted by a polite, confident, and professional dental hygienist, named Christina, who proceeded to examine and clean my teeth. She used some really amazing new technology, which really expedited the process. Rather than slowly, hand-scraping coffee stains from my teeth, she employed a dental pressure-washer of sorts, that essentially cut the time in half -- not to mention the icky, scraping sounds, and feelings from hand-scraping. EXPLANATION OF BENEFITS AND CHARGES (5+ stars) Once she was finished, the dentists came right in and confirmed that I did need a filling. When I requested to have an appointment for that ASAP, they were happy to accommodate me early the following week without question. Additionally, another front office staff member was at the ready to explain what my charges for the filling were going to look like. She broke down the explanation of benefits, and what they expected the insurance to cover and what I was expected to pay out of pocket. I found this very helpful, and appreciated the detail. The staff member covering this portion of my visit was also professional and engaging, and I really enjoyed my conversation with her as well, despite the fact that I don't remember her name. RECOMMENDATION I would definitely recommend NH Dental to my friends and family, and I feel fortunate to have found them!

These guys are the literal best. Everyone at the office is so kind and seems to make a point of making visits as stress free as possible. The receptionists have always treated me kindly and have not rushed me when I'm scheduling with them or have additional questions, the hygienists are professional but talk you through every step so you aren't surprised as to what's going on or what happens next, and the dentists themselves are quick but efficient in handling the concerns brought up. I'd mentioned tooth hypersensitivity in one area and the hygienist went out of her way to numb the location for my routine cleaning and the dentist went over possible advanced solutions to help. I ended up getting a filling over the area which has helped the sensitivity immensely. At no other office I've tried prior have they offered to numb the location to help with the discomfort or be proactive about the issue when I've brought attention to it. I never thought it I could be such a simple fix, but they took the time to care and the issue's been mostly resolved. It's absolutely worth noting that the hygienists and the dentists aren't rough in the slightest and have the gentlest touch. While I myself don't have dentist anxiety, I'm sure this must be a relief for those that experience it. I can literally walk there in 10 mins. I'd seen this dental office on social media and love the aesthetic of the outside. The photos of the inside I've seen was just as impressive. The husband-wife team of dentists are young and family oriented. I knew I'd found my place! GETTING IN: scheduling an appointment was so easy. The gal I spoke to was very professional and friendly and we easily coordinated a date and time for my initial visit. I show up on the day of my visit very excited. Giddy, even. Let's get these teeth in tip-top shape! Check in was simple and I glance around the large waiting area. Portraits of the dentists and their child are framed and mounted on the wall, along with licenses and certificates. I love the ambiance, still smells brand new, lighting is comfortable and every surface is clean. There's what I can only guess is a child's play room, but I'm not 100% sure. THE TEAM: I have to say, the treatment team in back are awesome. Down to earth and really fun, actually. We shared quite a few laughs in conversation. I visited in November and was charged upfront because they were unsure if my insurance would cover the services. I happily paid. My insurance did indeed cover the service except the oral exam and the insurance and dentist agreed to a contracted amount. The dentist refuses to honor the contracted amount and only offered a partial refund. Their reasoning is insurance didn't cover it anyways so we are going to charge you the full amount and not the contracted amount we agreed upon with your insurance. Stephanie was combative and said she would call me back for a refund in two weeks. I had to call back multiple times letting them know that insurance has paid them and they owe me a refund yet they only provided a partial. My dental insurance company called them as well to advise they should not be charging the full amount and should be charging the contract amount but they disagreed and refused to refund me. They continued arguing with the insurance as well. At this point my insurance is filing a complaint. This is unfortunate because I really liked the dentist but the fact that I called, my insurance company called, and they do not know how to bill properly is fraudulent. There are so many other great dentist in this area go to don't bother with this place. Look at their google reviews there are others that have complained about the same thing. Look at your explanation of benefits because this dentist is pocketing the money.
