What a great dental office. The staff have always been kind and courteous, wait times are minimal, and the doctors are highly proficient in their craft, as are their technicians. The office is rather new, just a couple of years old, and always tidy. Their waiting room is somewhat small, but there's a TV, a Keurig, and bottled water. Oh, and a fish tank. Their dental suites appear state-of-the-art, but what do I know. X-rays are taken in the rooms, and displayed on their widescreen monitors. The doctors do an excellent job of explaining any issues you may have, and how they can be treated. There are no pressure-tactic sales, either. I've been a patient here for over 2 years and it's always a pleasure. Well, not a "pleasure" per se, I mean it is a dental clinic -- but it's a pleasure in as much as a dental visit can be a pleasure. The finance lady/office manager was inhospitable, disinterested, unpleasant and condescending.

Ive been coming to this office for years and never had an issue until recently. The most recent work they've done in my teeth has only caused me more pain, when i bring these concerns to them they tell me "theres nothin wrong" turns out they didn't fully seal my cavity twice and did my fillings wrong so I had to continue to return and have free work done to correct their mistakes. Some doctors are rough when handling you, my recent doctor forcefully broke several strings of floss in my teeth after i was asking her to stop due to it being painful. This was a result of the bad fillings she did. Ive also had a horrible time scheduling with them lately, they tell me i'm on the schedule and give me a appt card with time and day, i come in, no appt scheduled. They fail to provide important info for future appts and receptionists have little patience. read more

Had a first visit here yesterday after relocating to the area from Ohio. I was so pleasantly surprised! The office is beautiful, all the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, and the appointment availability was great - very easy to get in quickly for my cleaning. I had a previous dentist and after spending hundreds of dollars left them and looked up on Yelp and found Alamo Dental and they have taken such good care of me I will never change dentists again. When this place first opened up, it was exceptional. I could schedule an appointment within a week and there was no waiting time. The last time I went, it took a month to get an appointment - unacceptable. This area has grown and they have obviously taken on too many clients and have lost their customer service. Charlene, Tara, Kim, and Dr. Bushong will exceed your expectations. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile and my appointments was on time. My appointments were for cleaning and annual exam. I did find out I need a crown. Every procedure was explained. Every service was explained and not pushy about it. Free wifi, fish tank, TVs and massage chairs in each room. Up to date dental gadgets. I have already made an appointment for my family to have their cleanings done here. My only feedback and tip, not the office's fault, is too make sure google map doesn't take you the wrong way. The doctor and hygienists are great here. However, the checkout process or just rescheduling your next appointment leaves much to be desired. Each time I have been here either by myself or with my kids there has been a long wait of 15 minutes or more just to schedule the next appointment and tell me they are going to file our insurance. I cannot understand why it takes so long when there are 3 people working behind the desk and no one is in front of me in this process. What ever you are doing back there cannot be more important than having patients wait again after their appointments are over. Patients should come first. Time is valuable. read more

I needed a dentist that was convenient to Alamo ranch and found a gem. The office is really nice and well kept up. Dana was my tech and hope to get her every time. She is a perfectionist and felt like she did her best on my teeth. She talked to me about my teeth and said any recommendations that she had or expertise. Dr Bushong came in and looked around and offered some services and said I had 2 cavities. I scheduled for a week and half later and my 2 cavities were fixed in 17 minutes and went awesome with no pain. I definitely recommend this place and will make it home to where I go. I hope all staff stays the same. I cannot to forget to mention the massaging chairs and there is a TV for your liking. Some reviews say it expensive, but you get what you pay for, I for one don't want an inexpensive, inexperienced dentist when it comes to my teeth. Enjoy. read more

Called around looking for a dentist close by my house. The receptionist accommodated my schedule needs for a same day appointment. The staff was very friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be at work! That was refreshing as some other locations I could just feel the tension! They took the time to explain my benefits, what I'm eligible for and what I would pay for without making me feel uncomfortable about asking. Went to this dentist when we first moved here in 2017. Yes, their staff were friendly. As we continued to go for annual check-ups, it was necessary that we checked the billing as they continually re-charged for services from prior appointments. Recently my husband needed a root canal which Dr. Bushong indicated he could not do. So he suggested another dentist. Went to the second dentist, paid the bill and was told we would have to go to Dr. Bushong to place the final filling in my tooth. Would have been okay, but we were charged another $140 to have the tooth complete! Wouldn't you think one charge would be enough? My wife has had three hygienist in the past two years. We have been increasingly disappointed in the ineffective service and certainly would not recommend this dentist. read more

Initially was very pleased. Had to get a few teeth deep cleaned. Price was reasonable and hygienist was very personable and very good. Came for my 6-month exam. Different hygienist (typical-they never seem to stay long at dental offices). They want from here forward to give me a special exam that costs more money and they want me to come every 3 months simply because I had a few teeth deep-cleaned. I'm 55 years old and have been going regularly to the dentist. This special and more frequent cleaning is completely unnecessary and a ripoff. Is it especially preventative? Of course it is but is unnecessary. When I voiced my concerns I was told I could speak with the dentist. I chose to walk at that point. There are so many dentists that constantly try to up-sell unnecessary work. If they can't make enough money dealing honestly with patients they should find another profession. I'll eventually find a reputable dentist. What a shame. Any reputable dentist would have called personally to find out my concerns. read more

Absolutely loved my experience here. The entire staff are super friendly and helpful, they are up front about what everything is going to cost, explained my benefits, my treatment plan, but most importantly they take their time with you and explain everything they are doing. Lalita and Dana were so great and took good care of me. The office is beautiful and the massaging exam chair is dreamy. After trying to find a dentist in San Antonio for 5 years, I found this gem! Staff is by far one of the best I've ever encountered in a medical office - my wait was minimal and appointment started at the time I was given. Location is easy to find, parking is great and the office is new with the best equipment out there. Dr Leonhart and Rozlyn were the best - personable, funny, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Also, were open to my questions, concerns, and gave great advice for my treatment. I bring all of my children and myself to this office for all of our dental care. Dr. Leonhart is friendly and willing to answer any questions. Parents are allowed in the treatment room with their children. They do not make you wait long after your arrival and almost immediately take you to the treatment room!
