She did however love the "waterfalls" and the music in bathrooms. We had 3 dance parties in the private bathrooms because she just couldn't get enough. Food wise- it's ok. You can't go wrong with burrata. The lobster roll was a little disappointing. A smallish roll with a bit of lobster resting on the top. Sides are a la cart. I forget which steak we ordered but it was decent. It was cooked nicely and had good flavor. The menu is half fancy half diner. You can get a burger and chocolate chip cookies or steak and affogato. Fair warning from the start that this restaurant is quite expensive in comparison to what you get. Now, I personally didn't have a problem with that because the location is absolutely beautiful and the rooftop makes for a fun relaxing atmosphere. You are definitely paying for the vibes here! That said, the food left a lot to be desired. The menu was pretty limited, which was my first issue, and the food itself just didn't live up to the price. Overall RH rooftop is stunning, such an aesthetic place that looks amazing. Over is so good however it is pretty spendy so just be prepared for that. The burrata was so unique as they do peppers instead of tomatoes and the chicken with potatoes so delicious. My only negative was our waitress wasn't great, she didn't come to us often, took us 30 minutes to order food as she never came back. The Restoration Hardware Rooftop Restaurant in Edina promises elegance. What it delivers is something far less refined. The RH store downstairs is beautiful -- thoughtfully staged showrooms with on-trend furniture, flattering lighting, and aspirational everything. Upstairs, though, feels curiously drab by comparison: gray floors, gray seating, chandeliers with fake plastic candles, large fake trees that scream "mall atrium," and marble tables permanently covered in water stains. For a company that trades in curated aesthetics, the restaurant is joyless, even tacky. The menu doesn't redeem it. The cheapest glass of cabernet is $25 -- from a Robert Hall bottle you can buy at Total Wine for fifteen to twenty bucks. I wish I were joking. This glass of wine set the tone for pricing untethered from quality. The burger was passable but unremarkable, its patties overcooked and lacking much flavor. The $56 petite filet was the real tragedy: lukewarm upon arrival, burnt around the edges, rare-pushing-raw in the middle, completely flavorless, and shockingly dry. After two tentative bites, I had to set it aside. My dad tried a bite too, and agreed something was wrong with the meat. 30 minutes later, a stomach event proved us both right. The Béarnaise sauce, usually my ride-or-die, arrived broken, watery, and depressing. If this were your first taste of Béarnaise, you'd never order it again. The service was almost as bad as the food. When I told our server something seemed off with the steak, he silently took the plate, avoided eye contact, and walked away. As someone who has worked in a variety of restaurants, that short interaction that lacked any attempt of finding a resolution was the most shocking part of the night. RH built its reputation on staging perfection. Here, that illusion collapses under the weight of overpriced wine, flavorless food, and inattentive service. I came here for my birthday lunch with my boss (a lovely surprise) and it was incredible. The service here is truly lovely. The ambiance is gorgeous.. you walk in to the upstairs area and there is a fountain in the middle, it has an upper end greenhouse vibe and the seats are so comfortable. This is such a fun spot for celebrations and date nights! We celebrated a friends birthday and had great food and service. We started off with some wine, a bottle of rose and a bottle of Sauvignon blanc- just lovely. Then to start, we split the burrata starter. It was delish. I love a good burrata and tomato spread on toasted bread. Dinner for me was the burger (plus pork belly). I have had many a burger in my lifetime, and this one is up there for sure! Just so flavorful yet simple while somehow elevated. Omnomnom. Most of our group got burgers, but one gal got the salmon and it looked tasty and healthy. We also split some truffle Parmesan fries and the kale Caesar salad. Don't sleep on the truffle fries! They're amazing! NP: gooey chocolate chip cookies and ice cream for the birthday girl! A beautiful location - as clearly evidenced by all the numerous photos I've seen of the restaurant. I've been a couple times, and while biting back at the price of ~everything~, it is an amazing place to stop to enjoy your afternoon or evening in the Minneapolis suburb. My mom and I stopped in for a quick bite of truffle fries, creamy gem lettuce salad, and a couple glasses of Veuve Clicquot. The pairing was spot on and such a delicious add to the day. I just visited the restaurant for the first time after it had been opened already for almost 6 years! I had heard that it was overpriced, so it didn't excite me to go visit. However, my book club decided to have brunch there in January on a Sunday and I will say I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't cheap, so if you are on a budget, this is not your place. But the French omelette with Gournay cheese and herbs was silky smooth and melted in your mouth and worth every bit of the $22 they charge. I also added sausages and had a green tea. Service was prompt and helpful (she even offered to take a picture since we were a group there to enjoy ourselves). And although the food was delicious, the view was even better. It is on the rooftop (enclosed) and it was bright and roomy. They had gorgeous sparkly chandeliers and greenery that surrounded you making you feel like you were having brunch in a greenhouse. I don't know if I will be rushing back, as it was not a restaurant I would just 'pop' into, but it is great with a group, great if you want to have a leisurely meal and great if you want ambiance, good food and a view. read more

My wife and I came here recently to look for some furniture. The store is quite large, more like a destination rather than just a furniture store. They do a great job creating entire rooms and looks with their furniture displays. The furniture is expensive and really large. My apartment is a pretty good size but everything from the bed frames, to the dining room tables to the sofas are huge. I guess if I had a huge house in the burbs this place would be fire. That said, RH quality is really good. On the top floor is a pricey restaurant that seems nice and has lots of light streaming in. I bet it would be a great spot for brunch. The staff here are really nice and are constantly asking if you need help. You will not be ignored or have a hard time finding staff at RH. read more

The RH store is so incredibly bad. It is baffling, really. It is beautiful as you walk in, and from afar the displays appears so stylish. But walk a little closer, and you will see the surprisingly low quality of the items. The chairs and sofas are very uncomfortable - you can feel the hard base and frame through the thinness of the cushions. The tables are such low quality, but you won't realize that just by looking at the sample materials. Go to the RH Outlet, and you will see that the cement table is actually just a thin veneer, so thin that it almost looks like a sticker pasted over an uneven base, peeling at the edges. Many of the items cost $3000-8000, and are lower quality than at Target. Throw in some snooty and unhelpful employees, and the whole experience is just... so incredibly bad. read more

My wife and our good friend decided to try RH for their brunch. The feel for the restaurant was one that was a mix of both upscale and casual dining. The menu prices reflect the more upscale side along with the decor showcased, but the relaxed feel of the wait staff and overall feel of the other patrons was relaxed. Of course, all tables were more than 6 feet apart and masks were worn by staff and required by all patrons if they left their tables. We made reservations the day before and arrived at our table quickly with no wait. I ordered the RH Burger and it was a good burger! I am a snob when it comes to what is a great burger but with a brioche bun, delicious pork belly, fresh tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and tomato made for a very good burger. It was not greasy at all and was a large meal for any hungry restaurant-goer. The entree menu is a la carte so the fries did not come with the meal but they were worth the $4. My wife had the smoked salmon plate and it was better than expected. Nice portions with a build your own adventure style plate with capers, pickled onions, pickles, dill, and a soft cheese spread for toasted bread. All tasted great and again surprisingly more filling than expected. The drinks are pricey for small portions so for many it would not be worth the price. Checked RH for the first time Sunday for lunch. I will say, the place is beautiful inside. It was empty on the showroom but the restaurant was busy. I had reservations for two and originally they put me at a tiny two chair table in the middle of massive tables and it literally felt like the reject kids table. I asked for another spot and the host generously moved me to a couch by the windows. Much better spot, definitely allowed me to get the full experience. My friend and I each order the Kale Caesar which was small and with no additional proteins cost $18/plate. Absolutely insane but the salad was very fresh and the dressing was phenomenal. We got a dessert to share too - way too expensive but I wanted to check it out and knew to expect that so I'm not penalizing the restaurant for that. My biggest issue with the place was the snobbiness surrounding us. My friend walked in and their first impression was "bougie" which was dead on in every respect of your ever read Marx. The snobbery was thick in there from the Insta-h's, the gold diggers, to the old money. If you plan to go, make sure you dress like you're going to the opera. The beautiful women in my family took me here for lunch today for my birthday! It was my first time here. It's located on the third floor of the Restoration Hardware furniture store. The ambiance is exquisite, windows go around the whole room with an overview of Edina. It's Winter and they have a patio but obviously we can go out there. The chandeliers are gorgeous! But it's still a comfortable atmosphere, and doesn't feel ostentatious. The food was delicious, but expensive for lunch. I went for comfort food, by having the grilled cheese and I ordered their famous truffle fries. Everything is all apart but the portions are large, and presentation is great. Two people had the avocado toast and two others had salads. They did bring me out a cookie with a candle for my birthday. We stayed for quite a long time talking and the staff was very patient and pleasant. It was about half full, granted it was a Monday. They do have a parking lot which was easy to use, but I'm not sure how it will be on a weekend because it's right across from the Southdale movie theater and that used to be their overflow parking. When the entree was brought out the with allergen the server argued about it. I do have to complain that some waiters and waitresses were giving us funning looks and Idk why. We were all dressed up so I didn't think we broke the unofficial dress code. At one point, when I looked up, I saw a waitress looking at us and walk away. I got up to confront her but she quickly walked into the kitchen. I got mad so I told our waitress but it didn't seem like she did anything about it. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: I give this place a 3.0/5.0 stars. The stars go directly to the truffle fries, our waitress, and to the beautiful ambiance. I felt upscale coming here and being here at sunset was stunning. I took stars way because of the overall service from everyone and the way the servers were looking at us. I also took stars away because this place is not worth the price. Located in an ersatz rococo, Italian renaissance, Las Vegas facsimile of a building, we were met by a human facsimile, with a head phone attached to his coiffed persona. He spoke, kinda, but was incapable of eye contact. He connected us to a wonderful sales "associate" Kyra Carney, who was excellent describing materials and sofas that would fit our needs. This involved finding furniture that would withstand our "bad dog," and my body consisting of one foot of legs and 4 and a half feet above the waist. She found the very couch that would meet my aberration which I thought impossible. I don't know if the furniture at Restoration Hardware is well made, but I loved the experience. We absolutely loved our experience at RH! We worked with Kelley on design services and she did an absolutely brilliant job. We now can't order furniture without getting her opinion! :) In total, we ordered complete furnishings for our den, living room, dining room, and office, along with some art pieces. Everything that came to us we really loved with the exception of one couch. However, Kelley helped us return it and now we have something we love! She stayed in great communication with us throughout the process and worked really hard to make us happy. That kind of service goes a long way with me! The only complaint I have is just how long it took to get everything delivered (about 2.5 months). I've never ordered custom furniture so maybe that's normal. To be honest, I would gladly wait again given how much we love everything. We will certainly be ordering from RH many times over! read more

This place has pros and cons. Pros: -Food is delicious. We came here for brunch recently with another couple. I had the egg scramble and my husband had the burger. We both thought our dishes had a lot of flavor and great portions. -It's probably one of those Instagrammable places I have been to. The natural lighting with all the windows, the gorgeous chandeliers and the greenery really makes this place POP. I had no trouble getting in some serious food pictures here! Cons: -Wayyyy too overpriced. The burger was $21, and by the time my husband added on bacon and a fried egg, it became a $30 burger. Seriously? Also, a simple glass of prosecco or champagne here runs about $15 a glass. -I was also kind of bummed to learn that they don't have a full bar. My friend and I were wanting a bloody mary to kick off our brunch, but they only serve a few different kinds of beer on tap and wine or champagne. -The service was a little off. Maybe because we went there so early after they opened, but my friend had wanted a coffee to end the meal and it never came. Very odd. My boyfriend surprised me with reservations for a pre-Valentines day dinner. I loved Restoration Hardware when I lived in CA, so when I heard they opened a rooftop restaurant in Edina I knew I had to go! It was a small dinner menu, and the salmon dish I tried to order they had run out of so we both had the lobster roll and shared a delicious bottle of red wine. The food was good, but not sure it was worth the price tag. The atmosphere was so beautiful, it was dark and romantic. The fountain, the chandeliers and greenery made you feel like you were somewhere else. I am so excited to sit on the outdoor portion when it warms up! I enjoy going to RH, they have beautiful pieces of furniture for reasonable prices. I have had bad experiences here in the past, but always continue coming back (mostly for the candles that smell like leather; those are to die for!). Today I stopped in just to browse their selection of side chairs, as I'm looking on replacing mine. I found that although they have beautiful pieces, some (most) of them are not actually practical. I enjoyed looking and sitting in them, but I felt most where just too deep and made me feel like a small child (my feet dangling off the ends). I do like that they offer more pieces online to browse through and their return process seemed simple enough. Today, I didn't leave with the chair of my dreams, but I'll probably be back (unless I find something else). If you aren't in the market for furniture, I recommended just stopping in and looking at the showroom, it's well worth it! read more

Let me start by saying the atmosphere was an absolute, hands down, 5 star, 10/10, walk off grand slam in World Series extra innings. If you lost me there, in short, this place is as gorgeous as you've heard. Indoor greenery, fountains, exquisite furnishings (of course) it was really, truly breathtaking. We were seated at one of the lounge tables and made ourselves comfortable while our friendly server poured us our first of 4 (5?) bottles of champagne. The experience overall was great - the only thing we didn't love was the price for the value when it came to food. We ordered the Prosciutto and Délice Board which, truthfully, was just a below average cheese plate priced at $39.
