I have been living In the area for over a year now and I always walk past this spot with the dog. Decided to finally check it out and I was not disappointed what so ever. The customer service was excellent. The atmosphere was chill and calm and cool. You need a place to decompress and just let some stress out and also at an affordable price, come here. I will be back. Update: I have been coming here on a weekly basis now. Thanks. For all you men out there, this place will decompress you. Give it a shot. It's amazing Update 2: if you plan to come here and hit on ppl, lemme tell you, you're gonna get what you deserve right back if you keep playing around. We don't play those games here. Have some respect for others. Just a fair warning.

Ask the Community - Chicago Sweatlodge

What is a typical routine? and now long do guys stay? Seems like it is just saunas ice baths and a kitchen.

How much do 30 minute and 1 hour massages cost?

    Admin $38.00 30 min $50.00 60 min $85.00…

Would you consider doing a women's day, maybe like one Saturday or Sunday each month, or on a particular weekly weeknight? I hope so!!!

That would be awesome! Its not fair that men get to have all the fun!

I don't see any pricing on the website. I only see that it has become more pricey in the reviews, but still no baseline. How much does this cost?

Admission is$35.00 which covers all day, unlimited towels and flip flops(footgear is mandatory, you may also bring your own). Discounts are available:4 admissions $100.00,15 $330.00. Food, drinks and massage are extra.

Is this a men's only Sweatlodge? All the pictures and comments are of men.

Yup, male only. Sorry. If interested in this type of experience, check out King Spa in Niles.

We did to want to do the nude portion of the spa. We spent four hours at King Spa. WE checked out all the rooms plus the ICE room. It was so relaxing and I did fall asleep a few times. Upstairs they have the Meditation rooms . Those rooms are the Oxygenated room and an infra red room. On the first floor they have a theater room, a salt room, a gold room, a sun room, a charcoal room, other rooms and a cafeteria area. You can also pay for a massage. Most of the massages were 60 minutes for 120$. I will definitely go back and take my husband there on a date. Love it!

When we went on a weekday night, it wasn't crowded, so it was good. The rooms are interesting and generally relaxing. The spa services are expensive. Like the foot reflexology is more than double the places I've been. My friend did really enjoy her scrub, so if you get a service, they are good. Look, I think it's important to pay people a good wage and I value spa services, but these just seemed high.

We didn't know…read morewhat to expect, but we were truly satisfied with the service we received, with one exception: the massage. After reading reviews dating back several months, I realized that other people had experienced the same issue. Let me start at the beginning. I made my reservation for a Sunday at noon. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been canceled. Naturally, I was confused because I hadn't canceled it. We were asked to take a seat while the staff looked into the matter, and they quickly figured it out. Brittany at the front desk did a wonderful job explaining what had happened. In the end, it turned out to be an error on my end, but she remained friendly, professional, and accommodating. She offered us another date and time and even compensated us for parking. Thank you, Brittany! The bath experience was everything I needed to cleanse my soul. The waterfall area and the eucalyptus sauna quickly became our favorite places. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we had hoped for. Now, on to the massage. My wife and I were in the same room. She had a female therapist, and I had a male therapist. Unfortunately, our experiences were completely different. My therapist spent most of the session lightly rubbing my feet and legs. He never touched my hands, fingers, neck, or head, all of which my wife received during her massage. He did ask whether there were any areas I wanted him to focus on, and I mentioned that I had tension in my upper shoulder area and that I had a shoulder injury. He concentrated primarily on the injured shoulder and very little else. I was genuinely surprised when he told me the session was over. My first thought was, "Wait, where was the rest of the massage?" I would really like to see Aire invest in more experienced massage therapists, especially since this appears to be a recurring concern among guests. That said, the massage experience did not ruin our visit. I would absolutely return, and I would still recommend Aire to my family, friends, and coworkers.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM…read more Use Caution when booking. I booked my reservation on May 23, 2026 for July 19, 2026 for my 11 year anniversary. Showed up and it was closed due to construction issues with the city. I received no email or phone call that it would be closed. Very embarrassing. I've called over 6x asking asking for a refund $720. Each time I've called it the same response "sorry someone from our management team will call you back". Nobody ever calls me back. I disputed the issue with my credit card company and AIRE responded to them saying that the service was complete forcing me to open another investigation with the city and having to look in legal counsel to take them to court. I am beyond frustrated. Never thought this is how they would do business. Apart of me feels that they lost so much business during the time they were "under construction" that they can't afford to keep the lights on let alone issue a refund. I would stay away.

Very welcoming and impeccable hospitality. You know you are in for a good time of relaxing. Followed the host to a locker room; assigned a locker with a nice waffle knit robe and comfy cushioned slippers. Changed into my swimsuit and waited on the sofa for the next step. Offered a few choices of a beverage. I went with the sparkling wine. Perfectly chilled, semi sweet and refreshing. My first experience was the halo-therapy room. (Salt) Very comfortable; lights out, nice glow, comfy blanket. I napped for about forty minutes. Soft knock on the door to escort me to the sauna. Given a bottle of water and a fresh towel. LOVED the heat in the sauna, not at all like the gym. It was HOT! I began to sweat right away. I enjoyed my water. I could feel the stress of the week leaving my body. Soft knock, times up. Next experience, steam room. Again, not like the gym, this steam was intense. I LOVED it. After fifteen minutes my time was up. Walked downstairs to the warm beer soak tub. Nice room, soft lighting. Fresh robe and towel, another water bottle, more sparkling wine and my own charcuterie board. I was encouraged to enter the tub naked so that my body could fully absorb the vitamin benefits of the beer soak. I did. Thirty minutes of soaking went by way too fast. I am fully relaxed. I may need a minute before driving home. There is also a twenty minute chair massage where if you are not careful, can fall asleep again. Hands down, a great way to destress.

When I first heard about this I was very skeptical -- why would you want to soak in beer (my mind…read moreimmediately went to skunked miller-lite)? Reading about it, it became clear that is was a beer-like solution, and closer to a hop-scented herbal bath. Ok that definitely sounded better. There are also other spa amenities, and it's just you and the people you came with in each room/treatment area. So I came here with my wife, and it turned out to be the perfect relaxing, fun (and slightly gimmicky) activity between a morning of site-seeing/walking around Chicago, and an evening dinner/show. We did the silver package. Arrived a few minutes early and changed into robes/slippers (minor nitpick #1: my sandals were comically small for me, it would be nice to have bigger ones to choose from) then headed to the salt room. The room itself is very relaxing, even with periodic subway rumbling. (Minor nitpick #2: we both wished the bottom of the chairs were more padded). After a trip to the Sauna (we did not last long) and the steam room (which had a cold shower inside that was extremely nice to cool down) we headed downstairs for the soak (with fresh drinks and a snack platter). The soak was very relaxing and gave your skin a light hoppy/floral scent. Everything seemed clean and well-organized. Definitely would recommend for a unique couples' spa package.
