I have been a member of Restore locally for a number of years. The Lake Oswego, OR location that I was a member of closed its doors without notice. I received an email in January indicating I was going to receive a $4200 refund for NAD drips that I had paid for but had not used. They went so far as to email me an ACH form to fill out stating that they would process the ACH as soon as they received the form back. My review is about the visits I have made not only to the Cedar Mills location (now closed) but also the Lake O location. Staff: friendly, professional and very helpful. I ask a lot of questions to make sure I know what I am getting. Maybe the people who put one star should have done the same. I found the staff to be more than willing to explain how things work, what the prices are and etc. in order to help me get the best services I could get for what I could pay for. Services: LOVE the WBC (whole body cryo). I always leave feeling like a million bucks! The red light therapy is incredible, especially if you do it right before you get into the WBC chamber. The infrared sauna: popular, so much so that it is rarely available. They really need to have two sauna chambers. IV drips are great, but they are a bit pricey for me, so I get them before an important trip so that I feel much better and ready to travel. Hydrafacial - WORTH EVERY PENNY. The new staff coming on board is wonderful, and I've experienced time and time again how they work to create a casual work environment that allows anyone walking through the door to be treated with utmost respect and kindness. I've been late a few times and they have no issues working to fit me in for treatment between other guests. They do a great job onboarding new guests to their membership - a tour, review of all options within the packages (or a la carte pricing if you don't go with a monthly membership), and they help you get scheduled in advance so you can plan your weeks accordingly. Redlight and full body cryo are my main go tos, but recently tried the compression boots. I fell asleep within minutes and slept the entire hour of treatment. The staff was respectful and quiet and I never woke up to loud noises. It was peaceful, and they just let me take my little nap with grace and ease. Additionally, I've done the oxygen facial and HydraFacial... they're awesome! I definitely recommend this location and their services for anyone looking for some rejuvenation whether you workout frequently or just need a little reset or r&r. The delay to get started was over 40 minutes which included forms that needed to be filled out which was a software system that rebooted and required we start over and waiting for a virtual nurse to join a call and finally an IV. Then after the IV got started I was told that my blood pressure was too low for the ingredients they already gave me. I left feeling awful including dizzy, blurry vision, and exhaustion. My dad did red light therapy which required him to stand for 20 mins. After he was done he said he wouldn't do it again and it was only then that they offered him a chair. I went in on a $99 introductory special and they let me know what the drip of the month was which they said is what I was getting and then tried charging me $240 at check out. I was not informed of any up charging or "add-ons" , I was just up charged without any transparency. I was able to talk them down to $188 but they will up charge you and not be transparent about pricing. I will not be back. General humans like transparency and honesty especially when it come to their money. Had I been talked to prior knowing what I was getting I might have been okay with it. I wanted to share my experiences at Restore in Lake Oswego. The team here has been a great help, working with me closely, helping me overcome some challenges and changes I have taken to better my health and live a happier life. Being 47 and having a strong caffeine addiction. (2-3 energy drinks or Starbucks a day, minimum) and fighting to take off that quarantine weight. (17 lbs). I started talking with Kristeen and with her help I have ventured into trying many firsts. IV therapy, Cryotherapy (Whole body) and (Local). Being 6'2" and losing those 17 lbs, I have dropped my weight down to 190 lbs and working out / building muscle the Whole Body Cryo has been a huge help in recovery and getting past being sore and a part of my success. The local cryo has really helped with my wrist and hand aches caused from years of tennis, sports and computer use. Services I would suggest if you are having any similar issues. This is huge for me - Today marks 30 days with ZERO energy drinks and 33 Days without Starbucks Mochas. I "was" an heavy caffeine drinker/addict and the IV Drip therapy has been detrimental in getting me past those withdrawals, feeling ready to crush the day and kick some ass. I have been going to Wellness Lake Oswego for about 8 months now. This place is so friendly and welcoming. I started with Cyro which does wonders for reducing pain and inflammation as well as a great energy boost! I have been struggling with my mobility due to a bad horse riding accident with multiple fractures. I heard about the Stretch service which is provided by Julius. It has been a game changer for me with my riding and flexibility! I ride better than ever and walk without feeling like I need a hip replacement!! This place is racist, discriminatory, disrespectful, and has bad business practices and terrible, disgraceful ethics. They regularly bait and switch their customers, and offer crazy deals only to charge you regular price later. They did this multiple times to me personally and I've seen other customers experience the same thing as I've been in their lobby! The nurses are hospital rejects who could not handle the stress of the hospital so resorted to working here where they cannot even afford the IVs they are putting into you cuz they're so broke they qualify for the Oregon health plan. This is the only place I've been bruised up from an IV/needle as well! Their lack of experience clearly shows they don't know what they are doing. They will find any way to deny you as well. I was denied hyperbaric oxygen at first bc I told them I dealt with asthma in the past so was immediately banned. Even though hyperbaric is actually indicated to be good for asthma! So I got a doctors note and that "qualified " me when really they wanted to be jerks and deny service .Also the nurse said I smelled like cannabis and asked if I was using cannabis. I said NO! She refused to give me hyperbaric with a doctors note that goes about her measley nurse license. These folks are petty, racist, scam artists! Do not support this business and this extreme pettiness! They are truly full of hate and their customer service is BAD acting at the BEST! Truly spiteful people,and they make the whole state of Oregon look bad.
