We purchased a Groupon for the detox and it didn't disappoint! The infrared sauna was nice and private (only the 2 of us). I didn't react well in the salt room but she loved it. The staff assisted me in getting some O2 (they have an oxygen bar) as I was experiencing a coughing fit from the salt. They also provided me with some additional water. The cryo space isn't for the faint of heart. You're LEGIT in a freezer (they give you gloves, socks, slippers and a mask to wear. You're supposed to stand in there for 3 minutes (I made it 60 seconds ). The sauna and salt rooms are accessible to those who need/use a walker but the cryo is not (you must be able to stand without assistance and there's nothing to hold onto inside the freezer). There is ample parking as the Riverview location is in a strip mall.

Now the nurse argued with me that I was "done" with my contracted visits. When I clearly have 4 more, after the four I picked up Tuedsay. I go two shots, they instantly made my arm sore which was unique to me, but after verifying my documents, the practitioner was immediately ready for me and gave me the shot in the lobby and I was on my way. The road there is under construction, it can easily look like you're driving on a one way street but it is not. There's ample parking for the business.

I also had a 15-20 minute wait in the 'lobby' until their receptionist showed up (5:30pm) to deliver the glutathione. I was the only person there with the injector and I did appreciate the transparency of why I had to sit and wait when the Med Spa was completely empty. The appointment went well, but I would have preferred if they would have let me know over the phone they were not stocked with the vials and give me the option to reschedule.

She continues to send my insurance additional billing codes that required co-pays when my treatments are 100% covered. To make matters worse, she sent me an invoice on Monday, 9/15/25 asking me to pay $30.00 for my upcoming acupuncture treatment scheduled for Wednesday, 9/17/25. Without receiving the service, Lisa was already charging me. I have been vocal and assertive about these unexpected charges unsuccessfully. Amber, staff member, dared to cancel my upcoming appointment without my consent after speaking to me on Monday about the invoice received. At 71 y/o, I avoid conflicts if I can, but dealing with some of the staff members in this clinic can be challenging. The clinic is expected to be about relaxation, yet, they have a toxic environment among their staff. I am not aware that the owner, Dr. Ron Shemesh, knows how his staff members are treating customers, but he will find out sooner rather than later. I am tired of receiving bogus charges because each time they send me an invoice, my blood pressure raises very high. I've decided to not go back because my health is more important and I don't want to experience stress and/or anxiety at a place that claims to be about mind, body and spirit.
