We rented "BuckheadDream Atlanta | 6 bedrooms with a bath in every room" from galuxuryrentals.com…read more(aka "Vanwaw Corporate Rentals") from May 13th to May 17th, 2024, and it was the worst short-term rental I have experienced in my 10+ years of using Airbnb, VRBO, etc. The house was filthy; I don't even think the sheets were clean. Lowlights included spiders, cockroaches, a box of condoms left in a drawer, mold, and general dirt and grime. In addition, the overall condition of the house was atrocious. I have never seen such shoddy craftsmanship--paint peeling, broken drawers, missing panels, gaping holes in the tile, etc. It had the same general quality as a frat house: just beat up. The house cost around $800 per night and was advertised as a "luxury rental." The company offered no refund and was generally not helpful. I would strongly encourage prospective renters to avoid this company.

I have filed a complaint w/ the office of the Florida Attorney General, Dept of Consumer Protection to shine a light on this business & its shady practices. This review is really for Laz parking that runs the valet service at the st Regis…read more Horrible Valet Parking! They valet park for the hotel and for other businesses in the complex. At midnight when many people are leaving the restaurants and hotel, there are two valet attendants. One is absolutely rude and has walked past me and my husband five times as we say excuse me and try to give him the valet ticket to retrieve our car! I am in hospitality so service is my business and this valet misses the mark by far! I would have given a zero, but it has to get a star in order to leave a review!

A luxury hotel, but i…read morenoticed several differences compared to the St Regis in Chicago built in 2020, but we are talking about an age difference of eleven years. Now, every website that i visited before leaving felt like it was stuck on repeat with "Is Atlanta safe for visitors? Is Buckhead safe ar night." I read that Buckhead, is starting to hire off-duty police officers to patrol its streets and commercial centers. So yes, Buckhead is safe. Yet, that indicates that they don't think the Atlanta Police Department is getting the job done. So why chance someplace else out in the area? Mind you there are plenty of restaurants in the area, and don't overlook the Atlas, which is the St Regis's onsite restaurant; plus, there is a grocery store, even a Jeni's Ice Cream parlor across the street. All perfectly safe. If you're looking for a wedding dress, there is a Mandi Jackson Bridel on the first floor, kind of pricey but that's weddings for you.
