There is also no attempt made to wear a mask by any of the staff, and many of those attending for physical therapy are seniors and I'm sure are compromised in their health. At minimum, there should be a sign as you enter, stating that a mask will be worn by the therapist upon request. But it's stunning to me that a medical related facility that offers the close physical contact of a physical therapist, does not wear masks as an important consideration to their business.

After surgery I was referred to CPE for my physical therapy. Due to an uncompassionate workers compensation adjuster, I was forced to return to work early, giving me only one day a week for therapy. I came back to Granite for a second opinion on a recent ankle break. I knew the ER had missed something because I've been walking on it with tolerable pain- now it's getting worse. I thought maybe it had healed wrong. In-house imaging showed that the sprain had dislodged a protruding bone. Dr. Simonson wrote for a stability brace, so I got it, wore it a couple times and now the pain is worse. It's the wrong brace for my injury. I explained to his MA twice, the pain is worse, asked for NON NARCOTIC pain medicine. I shouldn't have to feel guilty asking for a muscle relaxer and some extra strength Naproxen. I'm not a drug addict. And I hate being treated like one. Simonson should follow up with his All patients after their initial visit. To make sure people get better. Not worse.

I had a single bed room and it was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Their plan is to get you up and moving. The dining room food was good with many choices plus they are informed of each patients dietary restrictions. The staff if very friendly and helpful to your needs. They also have an inexpensive meal program for your family who might be visiting during a meal time. Complete lack of respect for patient's time, Twice, showed…read moreup on time for appointment. We had to close up our own business to get to appointments. We are a family owned investment and asset management firm. We have our own obligations and our time is valuable Just like anyone else. Both instances at least 10 persons in waiting area and on one instance there were also 5 to 7 waiting outside in overflow. Asked front desk staff, "are appointments running on time?" answer, "there is one physician here today." rather than admitting that appointments are not on time and providing a potential solution such as rescheduling or giving an approximate adjusted timeline to be seen so we can make an informed choice. Since there was no accurate or credible information provided and we had already closed our business that day, we reluctantly continued to wait it out. First contact with Richardson was at 1hour and 7minutes after scheduled appointment time. On intro there was no apology or acknowledgement that he was late. He quickly proceeded through the consult. We believe he was aware of our displeasure with the wait time since he shifted his tone with us.He appeared frustrated and angry in our opinion. When a suggestion was presented to call us next time in advance knowing that appointments are running over an hour late he appeared even more angry again not acknowledging or addressing the late appointment. We are disgusted with the complete lack of respect and arrogance. How simple would it have been to have just simply said, "I understand you have waited over an hour past your appointment time and we apologize for the delay". Although the surgery services are most likely good here anyone should highly consider other services available that may have more respect for their patients' time and know how to run a more efficient flow of business. We chose to not return to this practice for their services and have already gone through the necessary surgery with rehab through another credible and professional practice.
