Dr. Bhullar and staff are top notch. My husband and I would not trust anyone else with our eye sight. We trust him completely and when the office in Venice closed; we chose to attend visits in Bradenton even tho much further away. He has been our speciality care Dr since an emergency with my husband's eyes needed immediate care. Its been three years and now that I have issue with my eyes, we both see him. First off, I was visiting from out of town and so was not an established patient AND I didn't have my insurance card with me, so I want to thank Dr Bhullar for even seeing me earlier this month. A far closer ophthalmologist refused. I knew there were liability concerns, but luckily I'm very charming and got through. I had an emergency and had to see someone about a possible detaching retina. The technicians photographed both my retinae and Dr B, having analyzed the images and assessed my description of my symptoms, came to a conclusion that put me at ease. I'm not just giving a good score because I received good news-- that would be irresponsible. Two weeks later, my eyesight is fine: he was clearly right. I suffered from a separate problem a few days later: conjunctivitis, aka pinkeye. And, because I have a history of including some complaints along with praise, my yelp reviews can come off as passive aggressive (and maybe sometimes they are?) I'm just being honest. I mention the bad along with the good. I want to state emphatically that I don't believe I contracted it from this office, because I watched them wipe down each and every machine before I used it. I think I got this from the airport. So why even mention the pinkeye? Only to say: If I were still in Florida, I would have returned to this same facility for guidance. One star off because my local ophthalmologist didn't receive a fax that was supposed to have come from Dr Bhullar's office, although that could be due to a technical glitch. just now NEW My fiancé almost lost his eyesight because of Dr. Bhullar. He put a man who had a glaucoma attack on steroids for 4 months. He has almost lost eyesight. We've been to 3 other specialists who say his steroid rx have caused the loss of his eyesight. This man is a danger to people. I am sickened by what he did. We asked multiple times about the steroids, and he said nothing but continued to prescribe them for a glaucoma attack. For 4 months this went on. We finally went to another doctor, then another the another who immediately said get off steroids. They have damaged your eyesight. If you go to this dr, know that he is in way over his head. read more

Dr. Bhullar took over this business in the beginning of 2017. I could not have been happier with Dr. Bhullar and his treatment with my mother in law. He is very thorough and shows much compassion in working with my mother n law, in spite of some of the social issues that tend to pop up with her. He has made her feel very comfortable during her visits and is eager to explain procedures and diagnoses in a way that we can all understand. I was referred to Dr. Bhullar by my regular eye care practitioner due to a concern he had with my macula on a scan. Historically, I have had many eye issues over the years (including cryosurgery, holes/tears in retina, optic neuritis) so I am quite sensitive to the care I need. I am from Boston where the medical community is renowned, and having just recently moved to FL, I was nervous that I would not receive the level of care I was used to. My fears were immediately put to rest as soon as I arrived for my consultation. The office is clean and possesses the latest equipment and technology, but most importantly, Dr. Bhullar was personable, informative, patient, thorough and very professional. His staff was absolutely amazing how well they all worked together and how professionally skilled they are. My treatment consisted of two successful laser surgeries with minimal discomfort. A thorough exam was completed, and then my condition was clearly and concisely explained to me, with ample time for questions.
